Two building blocks converged in a novel sp3-sp2 attached-ring coupling that used Ir/Ni dual-catalysis to reverse the regioselectivity of siloxycy- clopropane arylation. This cross-coupling proved general to access β-substituted tetralones via ring-expansion of indanone-derived siloxycyclopropanes. Abstract TECHALLOY Nickel 211 is a nickel-manganese alloy with good elevated-temperature resistance to corrosion by sulfur compounds. When annealed, it is slightly stronger and harder than Techalloy Nickel 200 and is good for structural parts subjected to degassing temperatures. Nickel 211 has low electron emission and is used for such applications as electron tubes and sparkplug electrodes. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: Ni-248. Producer or source: Techalloy Company Inc..

The heat-resistance of coating from deposited steel 15N8G6M3FTB at temperature of 900 °С is studied. It is established that this dependence occurs in the first hours. The average mass gain of the metal scale of such coating at 900 °С is 0.0128 kg/(m2 •h). It is shown that the basis of metal scale of the composition 15N8G6M3FTB is hematite Fe2O3 and magnetite Fe3O4, as well as MnO, which have protective properties. The number of other phase compounds with high protective properties is negligible. The coating from steel 15N8G6M3FTB can be used for applying to the surface of parts operating at elevated temperatures.

: Schiff bases and their complexes are versatile compounds, which have been synthesized from the condensation of carbonyl compounds with amino compounds and exhibit a broad range of applications in biological, medicinal, catalysis, and industrial purposes. Furthermore, Schiff base-metal complexes have been used as a precursor for the synthesis of different metal oxides, which includes oxides of iron, cobalt, copper, nickel, manganese, vanadium, cadmium, zinc, mercury, etc. and ferrites such as Fe3O4, ZnFe2O4, and ZnCo2O4. These metal oxides have been utilized for several applications, which includes as a catalyst for several organic transformations and for biological activity. This review encompasses different methods of synthesis of metal oxides using Schiff base metal complexes precursor, their characterization, and various applications in detail.

The review describes articles that provide data on the synthesis and study of the properties of catalysts for the oxidation of alkanes, olefins, and alcohols. These catalysts are polynuclear complexes of iron, copper, osmium, nickel, manganese, cobalt, vanadium. Such complexes for example are: [Fe2(HPTB)(m-OH)(NO3)2](NO3)2·CH3OH·2H2O, where HPTB-¼N,N,N0,N0-tetrakis(2-benzimidazolylmethyl)-2-hydroxo-1,3-diaminopropane; complex [(PhSiO1,5)6]2[CuO]4[NaO0.5]4[dppmO2]2, where dppm-1,1-bis(diphenylphosphino)methane; (2,3-η-1,4-diphenylbut-2-en-1,4-dione)undecacarbonyl triangulotriosmium; phenylsilsesquioxane [(PhSiO1.5)10(CoO)5(NaOH)]; bi- and tri-nuclear oxidovanadium(V) complexes [{VO(OEt)(EtOH)}2(L2)] and [{VO(OMe)(H2O)}3(L3)]·2H2O (L2 = bis(2-hydroxybenzylidene)terephthalohydrazide and L3 = tris(2-hydroxybenzylidene)benzene-1,3,5-tricarbohydrazide); [Mn2L2O3][PF6]2 (L = 1,4,7-trimethyl-1,4,7-triazacyclononane). For comparison, articles are introduced describing catalysts for the oxidation of alkanes and alcohols with peroxides, which are simple metal salts or mononuclear metal complexes. In many cases, polynuclear complexes exhibit higher activity compared to mononuclear complexes and exhibit increased regioselectivity, for example, in the oxidation of linear alkanes. The review contains a description of some of the mechanisms of catalytic reactions. Additionally presented are articles comparing the rates of oxidation of solvents and substrates under oxidizing conditions for various catalyst structures, which allows researchers to conclude about the nature of the oxidizing species. This review is focused on recent works, as well as review articles and own original studies of the authors.
