This study investigates the synergistic relationships among intellectual capital, process capability, and medical service performance. An empirical study was conducted by using a second-order research framework. Data were collected through a questionnaire survey, and structural equation modeling techniques were used to analyze the data. An empirical analysis revealed that intellectual capital is a major factor influencing final medical service performance. This major factor should be carefully improved to increase process capability in hospitals in the long term. Hospitals account for a substantial proportion of the intellectual capital in the health-care industry, and, thus, should improve their process capability to achieve high medical service performance.

In this study, we found that when information salespeople in Taiwan perceived more transformational leadership, they were more likely to show increases in work engagement development over time. Furthermore, increases in work engagement development influenced increases in service performance development, which therefore positively predicts increases in customer relationship development over time.

Did property evaluation of engine test on shelf with the synthetic aircraft lubricating oil of corrosion inhibiting, detect the systematical parameters of engine, and the viscosity, acid number, flashing point, change of metal element of test oil. The results show that the new developed product has excellent antioxidation at high temperature, antiwear and lubricating performance, corrosion inhibition and anti-foam performance. And also has excellent long-term storage stability and service performance.

This chapter presents a novel architecture, namely the border adaptive micro-base-station network, which can sufficiently meet the bandwidth requirements for the future wireless networks. From the three screens convergence point, the goal is to make the wireless service performance match that of the wired systems, instead of downgrading the performance of wired network applications to the wireless level. Based on the analysis of Shannon theory, the only way to build future wireless networks is to adopt this micro-base-station approach instead of progressively improving the traditional large-cell-base-station systems, such as Long-Term Evolution (LTE).

The study aims to investigate the formation of customer loyalty among luxury restaurant patrons in Korea. Moreover, the study investigated how the restaurants’ performance could contribute to the trust and sustainability of the Michelin restaurant guide’s reputation. The study identified meal experience, brand credibility, and brand love to influence customers’ revisit intention and willingness to pay a premium. The study surveyed 400 luxury restaurant patrons in Korea. The Michelin restaurant guide was used to classify fine dining restaurants. Measurement items from previously validated studies were adopted. The results of the study showed the meal experience scale satisfactorily measures service performance and leads to the formation of brand credibility. Subsequently, brand prestige and brand love significantly predicted customers’ loyalty intentions. Additionally, brand credibility helps form the trust of the Michelin guide and eventually predicts the long-term reputation of the guide.

Abstract In this study, woven fabrics with numerous electrostatic charges and desirable charge stability were investigated. A kind of core–shell monofilaments with different melting points between outer and inner layers were applied to wove the fabrics. These fabrics were hot coated through tourmaline particles as an charge enhancer at 122°C. Benefiting from the anions released by tourmaline particles and optimized content of the particles, the fabrics were endowed with surface potentials from −10 to −160 V and the voids content decreased from 45.4% to 41.2%, which contribute to the improvement in the filtration performance of the fabrics. A filtration mechanism was proposed while incremental surface charges with increasing tourmaline particles content have been confirmed through the noncontact measurement of electrostatic charges. The resultant fabrics exhibited a high filtration efficiency of 64.8% and superior long-term service performance. This study can provide a new application of the screen window for PM 2.5 governance.
