ABSTRACT Body compassion is primarily influenced by both the multifaceted architecture of body image and self-compassion. Therefore, this paper aims to investigate the level of perception of body compassion among Vietnamese students at high school. A group of 396 Vietnamese high school students (121 males and 275 females) participated in a survey. They finished the body compassion scale, which included: Defuse, Common Humanity, Acceptance. The results found that regarding the body compassion towards research scores, the body compassion of females was found to have higher than males. Moreover, body compassion grade 11 had higher scores than grade 10 and grade 12. High school students who had gone through the research showed that Grade 12 would be interested in the Acceptance subscale. In contrast, grades 10 and 11 would be interested in defusion, and common humanity.

The problem of low self-compassion and forgiveness in schools causes students to often feel stress and depression, blame themselves, and label themselves to do self-harm. The inability to accept oneself leads to the rejection of unpleasant experiences, failure, and imperfection. This study aims to examine the relationship between self-compassion and forgiveness among students at three Senior High Schools located in the City of Semarang, Indonesia. There were 178 students who were involved in this study with the age range from 14 to 17 years old. The authors used the self-compassion scale, which has 26 items by measuring six sub-aspects including self-kindness, self-judgment, common humanity, isolation, mindfulness, and over-identification. The author used 10 items of the trait forgiveness scale (TFS). The results showed that there is a positive relationship between self-compassion and forgiveness and showed no differences between self-compassion and forgiveness when viewed by gender.

This research aims to developing the Biology Test of Creative Thunking-Torrance Test (BTCT-TT) assessment in studying Biology for high school student in grade 11. This type of research is Research& Development (R & D) with 4D (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). This study have develodped 37 items that are valid and reliabel. BTCT-TT was tested on 150 high school students, the results showed the average score of students’ creative thinking skills was significantly releted to students who received BTCT-TT assessment and Conventional assessment.   Keywords: Biology Test of Creative Thinking-Torrance Test (BTCT-TT), Creative Thinking

Background: AIDS (Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome) is a collection of symptoms or diseases caused by a decrease in the immune system from the body due to infection from the HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) which belongs to the retroviridae family. Teenagers themselves are vulnerable to HIV/AIDS. The right and precise knowledge of HIV and AIDS is important in HIV prevention efforts in adolescents. Method: This research is a descriptive research with cross-sectional design. The sample population of this study was grade XII senior high school students of the 2020/2021 at Methodist – 2 Medan by sampling total sampling. This study was analyzed univariately to look at the descriptive images. Result: From the results of this study, it has obtained that the knowledge level of students grade XII Methodist - 2 Medan had good knowledge about HIV / AIDS with the number of 144 people (70.6%). Conclusion: From this study, it was found that the level of knowledge about HIV/AIDS was mostly in a good category.

Introduction: Dietary trends such as consumption of lactose-free and gluten-free products or the use of alternative slimming diets are gaining increasing popularity, especially among young people. They determine their dietary choices, which are important from the point of view of human health. Unconventional diets are still considered as effective weight loss methods. The use of alternative diets may cause shortages of an essential nutrients, increase the risk of chronic non-communicable diseases and lead to the formation of incorrect eating habits. Balanced diet, in contrast to the alternative diet, takes into account the principles of rational nutrition and nutritional recommendations of the Institute of Food and Nutrition (IŻŻ). The aim: To investigate the influence of popular dietary trends on nutrition of high school adolescences. Material and methods: Subjects were adolescences in the age of 17-21 years attending high schools in Ruda Slaska (262 students, including 157 women and 105 men). Self-constructed questionnaire was applied in the study. Participation in the study was anonymous and voluntary. Results: In more than a half of young women (54,8%) and men (52,4%) the body mass deficiency was revealed (BMI<18 kg/m2). 33,6% of the respondents were on the non-balanced diets at least once in their lives. High school students knew gluten-free and lactose-free products but dietary trends, such as the consumption of gluten-free and lactose-free products, did not affect their diet. The main source of nutritional knowledge among respondents were their friends (78,2%). Conclusions: The results of the conducted research indicate the need to implement educational programs on the principles of proper nutrition. The increasing awareness of theyouth in this regard may contribute to reducing the interest in still popular alternative diets among young people and taking appropriate health behaviors by them.

Measures of body dysmorphic disorder symptoms have received little psychometric evaluation in adolescent samples. This study aimed to examine cross-sex measurement invariance in the Body Image Questionnaire–Child and Adolescent version (BIQ-C) to establish whether observed sex differences in total scores may be meaningful or due to differences in measurement properties. A sample of 3,057 Australian high school students completed the initial screening item of the measure (63.2% male, Mage = 14.58 years, SD = 1.37, range = 12-18 years). Of these participants, 1,512 (49.5%) reported appearance concerns and thus completed the full measure. Partial scalar measurement invariance was established among a revised two-factor, 9-item version of the BIQ-C (BIQ-C-9). Females reported significantly greater latent factor variance, higher BIQ-C-9 total and factor scores, and higher scores on most individual BIQ-C-9 items. The measure can be used with caution to compare body dysmorphic disorder symptoms between male and female adolescents, though sex-specific cutoff scores should be used.
