This research aims to find out the influence of independent committee boards, audit committee repats, foreign ownership, and audit quality on the timeliness of financial reporting and their impact on investors' reactions both directly and indirectly. This research uses a quantitative method with population and sample of companies registered in Jakarta Islamic Index (JII). Data will be processed using path analysis using IMB SPSS Statistic 22 software. Based on the results of this research, it is known that directly, independent commissioner variables and audit quality have a positive effect on investor reactions, while foreign ownership variables and audit committee meetings have a negative effect on investors’ reactions. While the indirect influence can be known that only audit committee meetings, foreign ownership, and audit quality can have a significant impact on investors' reactions through the timeliness of disclosure of financial statements as intervening variables. The implication of this research is to prove that the existence of corporate governance in terms of determining the intensity of audit committee meetings, foreign ownership, and determination of KAP selection in improving the quality of audits can make the company more efficient and timely in disclosing its financial statements in order make positive reactions from investors that indicates good news for the company.

The objective of this study is examine the effect of good corporate governance and debt maturity towards bond rating prediction. Good corporate governance is proxied by institutional ownership, managerial ownership, board size, independent directors, audit committee, and audit quality. The sample in this study consist of 229 bonds issued by financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2011 to 2013 and was ranked by PT PEFINDO. This study uses ordinal regression analysis model to test the effect of good corporate governance and debt maturity towards bond rating prediction. The results of this study showed that institutional ownership and audit committee have significant positive effect towards bond rating prediction while independent commissioner have  significant negative effect towards bond rating prediction. Managerial ownership, board size, audit quality and maturity haven’t significantly affect toward bond ratings. The findings of this study indicated that companies with the bigger institutional ownership and the bigger audit committees, then predicted the company has bonds with higher ratings. The findings that the independent commissioner has  significant negative effect toward bond rating prediction indicate that the presence of independent commissioner haven’t been able to role effectively so expected the quality of independent commissioner should be improved.

This research aims at finding out and analyzing how good corporate governance produces financial statement which has a certain quality that affects the company's financial performance. The population of this research is a sub-sector of the property listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange period of 2014-2018, with the selection of samples based on the selected purposive sampling of 16 companies. The data was analyzed by using multiple linear regression by conducting classical assumption tests and hypothesis tests. The results of the research show that good corporate governance measured with the commissioner, foreign ownership and audit committees are simultaneously and significantly affect the financial performance measured by return on asset. Partially the Board of Commissioners have a significant effect on financial performance with a substantial of 1.299. Foreign ownership and audit committees have no significant effect on the financial performance in which the value of sig is > 0.05. The value of coefficient of determination of R2 amounted to 72.9% showed that Return On Asset variation can be explained by the variation of Board of Commissioners, foreign ownership and audit committee and the remain is 27.1% which is explained by other factors that do not exist in this research. The results of this research proved that the most dominant variable which has significant effect to the financial performance is the Board of Commissioners. This should be a consideration for the company in the election or designation of the Board of Commissioners to improve implementation of good corporate governance principles in order to improve the company's financial performance.

Tax is one of the largest state revenues so that the governmenttries to maximize tax revenue but it is different from companies that wantto minimize taxes. In minimizing the tax, the company implements taxavoidance. The company avoids tax due to the lack of internal supervisionof the company, therefore the need for a system that directs and regulatesthe relationships of interested company side in making policies within thecompany. The system is good corporate governance. The purpose of thisstudy was to determine the effect of good corporate governance on tax avoidance.Good corporate governance in this study is proxied by executive compensation,institutional ownership, managerial ownership, independent boardof commissioners, audit committee, and audit quality. Tax avoidance ismeasured using the Cash Effective Tax Rate (CETR). The research samplewas 47 mining sector companies listed on the IDX in 2014–2019, and obtained213 research data. The results in this study say that executive compensationhas a negative effect on tax avoidance, institutional ownershipand managerial ownership have a positive effect on tax avoidance and theindependent board of commissioners, audit committee, audit quality has noeffect on tax avoidance.

The research objective is to identify ownership structure, audit committee characteristics, and internet financial reporting impact on banking financial distress. Populations of this study are the banking sector which is registered in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2010-2018. This study use logistic regression method, which is done twice for the period 2010-2018 and the period 2018. Dependent variable in this study is financial distress (FD). Independent variables in this study are state ownership (SO), ownership concentration (OC), blockholder ownership (BO), management ownership (MO), director ownership (DO), audit committee structure (ACS), audit committee composition (ACC), audit committee meeting frequency (ACMF), audit committee financial literacy (ACFL), dan internet financial reporting (IFR). Control variables in this study are firm age (AGE), firm size (SIZE), dan Audit Quality (AQ). The result shows a positive significant impact on audit committee financial literacy in is financial distress. The state ownership has a negative significant impact on financial distress for 2010-2018 data. This result is not supported by 2018 data, due to changes in government priority. Firm size as control variable has negative significant impact on financial distress. ABSTRACT This reseach amied at knowing the influence of audit quality, propotion of independent commissioner, audit committe, firm size, managerial ownership and leverage. It used purposive sampling technique or choosing samples based on certain criteria. The sample of this research was 25 companies of banking industry in indonesia stock exchange period 2008-2012. Descriptive analysis, classical test, as well as multiple linear regression by examining the hypothesis using SPSS 20.0 were used to analyzed the data. The result shows that (1) all independent variables simultaneously hasinfluence on earnings management; (2) however partially audit committee, audit quality, managerial ownership and leverage do not affect significantly to earnings management; (3) only firm size and independent commissioner that affect significantly to earning management. This research aims to know the effect of Good Corporate Governanceon earnings management. This research uses audit committee, managerialownership, institusional ownership, and independent commissionersas an indicator of good corporate governance. This research uses 19 samplesof SOE’s company non-financial listed on the IDX in the periode 2015–2019. The sample selection is used by a purposive sampling method. Analysiswas carried out by multiple linear regressions. The result indicated thatinstitusional ownership has a negative effect on earnings management, managerialownership and audit committee has a positive effect on earnings management,and independent commissioners have no effect on earnings management.

The largest state revenue comes from tax revenues. This is evident from the data of the Central Bureau of Statistics in 2016 as much as 86.16% of state revenue derived from tax revenue. For the company, the tax is a expenses that must be paid so needed a strategy in doing the efficiency of the tax expenses (the tax savings). One such strategy is tax management. To perform a good tax management then it takes the implementation of good governance in a company. Another variable that becomes the stimulus of Tax Management is the size of the company. This study examines Good corporate governance and Corporate Size as Stimulus in Tax Management. The research was conducted at a banking company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Research methodology used in this research is regression analysis that is linear regression analysis. The findings in this study are institutional ownership, the proportion of independent board of commissioners has a positive and significant influence on tax management while the audit committee has no influence on tax management. Earnings management is a manager's deliberate action to manipulate financial statements with permissible limits with the aim of providing incorrect information for users of financial statements. The variables tested in this study consisted of independent variables and dependent variables. The independent variables tested in this study consisted of independent board of commissioners, managerial ownership, audit committee, and board of commissioners. While the dependent variable is earnings management as measured by the modified Jones model discretionary accruals. This study uses 52 data on manufacturing companies in the consumer goods sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2016 to 2019. Sampling using the purpose sampling method. All data obtained from the company's annual financial statements. The results of this research show that partially independent board of commissioners and managerial ownership have no effect on earnings management, while the size of the board of commissioners and audit committee has a positive effect on earnings management.
