We construct Stancu-type Bernstein operators based on Bézier bases with shape parameter λ ∈ [ - 1 , 1 ] and calculate their moments. The uniform convergence of the operator and global approximation result by means of Ditzian-Totik modulus of smoothness are established. Also, we establish the direct approximation theorem with the help of second order modulus of smoothness, calculate the rate of convergence via Lipschitz-type function, and discuss the Voronovskaja-type approximation theorems. Finally, in the last section, we construct the bivariate case of Stancu-type λ -Bernstein operators and study their approximation behaviors.

This paper deals with several approximation properties for a new class of q-Bernstein polynomials based on new Bernstein basis functions with shape parameter λ on the symmetric interval [−1,1]. Firstly, we computed some moments and central moments. Then, we constructed a Korovkin-type convergence theorem, bounding the error in terms of the ordinary modulus of smoothness, providing estimates for Lipschitz-type functions. Finally, with the aid of Maple software, we present the comparison of the convergence of these newly constructed polynomials to the certain functions with some graphical illustrations and error estimation tables.

The main provisions of the concept of technology of diamond cutting and drilling of building structures are considered. The innovativeness of the technology, its main possibilities and advantages are presented. Carrying out works with the help of this technology in underwater conditions expands its use when constructing and reconstructing hydraulic structure. The use of diamond drilling equipment with motors equipped with an internal combustion engine is considered. Drilling holes with a variable diameter during the reconstruction of the runways of airfields makes it possible to combine the landing mats into a single structure. The ability to cut inside the concrete mass, parallel to the front surface, has no analogues among the methods of concrete treatment. The use of this technology for producing blind openings in the body of concrete without weakening the structure is also unique. Work with precision quality in cutting and diamond drilling of concrete and reinforced concrete was noted by architects and began to be implemented in the manufacture of inter-room and inter-floor openings. Non-destructive approach to the fragmentation of building structures allows them to be reused. The technology of diamond cutting and drilling is located at the junction of new construction, repair, reconstruction of buildings and structures, and dismantling of structures. Attention is paid to the complexity and combinatorial application of diamond technology. Economic efficiency and ecological safety of diamond technology are presented. The main directions of further research for the development of technology are indicated.

<em>A research about cocoa beans drying used solar tunnel dryer with photovoltaic module driven have conducted in Manokwari. Solar tunnel dryer used in this research adapted from type Hohenheim with photovoltaic module and integrated air heat collector has been installed at the Department of Agricultural Technology, Papua State University Manokwari to dried cocoa beans. The objectives of this research were to design solar tunnel dryer and evaluate its performance in dryed cocoa beans. The result obtained was a new construction of solar tunnel dryer for cocoa beans with dimensions 6 m of length and 0,9 m of wide. The dryer completed with photovoltaic module to drive the blowers of hot drying air. Performance test of the dryer showed that drying of 10 kg of cocoa beans with initial moisture content about 70% wet basis needed 13 hours of drying time to achieved final moisture content about 7,17% wet basis. The drying time achieved was faster compared than traditional solar drying that needed 20 hours of drying time. The maximum temperature achieved in drying chamber was 60 oC.</em>
