An increase in the volume of industrial effluents, ship accidents, oil breakthroughs at drilling rigs lead to a deterioration in the quality indicators of water in open water sources, including in terms of the content of organic compounds and oil products. The water used for irrigation of agricultural crops, according to most indicators, must meet the water quality requirements for household and drinking purposes. Thus, the total content of oil products in the irrigation water should not exceed 0.1 mg / l. The use of water with the MPC excess leads to significant changes in the morphological properties of the soil, reduces the biological productivity and phytomass of the plant cover. Therefore, the issue of improving machines and devices used in water treatment technologies to increase their reliability and efficiency is one of the topical areas of the research. The aim of the study is to develop a hydrocyclone complex cleaning apparatus, which implements combined processes of capturing both coarse and finely dispersed impurities. Unlike the standard design, the hydrocyclone is supplemented with a filter element installed on the drain pipe, which provides additional water purification from fine mechanical impurities, and a sorption filter designed to remove oil products and other floating organic compounds from water. The proposed hydrocyclone unit provides a comprehensive purification of irrigation water from various types of impurities, due to the combined processes of centrifugal separation and sorption filtration. It eliminates the multistage process of water purification, and regeneration of the sorption filter by the action of centrifugal forces or pressure does not require the use of special regenerating solutions, which increases the manufacturability and environmental friendliness of the water treatment process.

Thos works presents experimental results of influence of water in heating systems - in a form of water-fuel emulsion and in the form of solution in diesel fuel. A new method of using Musca Domestica larvae-based zoohumus as a sorbent for water purification from oil products has been proposed. The biocidal effect of hydrodynamic cavitation on intestinal and seade sticks, baker's yeast, has been tested. It has been established that the survival rate of microorganisms depends on the speed of bubble scan, the size of the cavitation zone, as well as the temperature and pH of water

In paper, is given overview of sorbents with ferromagnetic particles. The series of newly designed composite sorbents SOMSOR, are described. Described experiment of oil spill collection from water surface, which comprises of sorbent spreading and collection. Oil sorption by capillary forces, is discussed. Concluded that use of ferromagnetic sorbents a promising direction in the field of water purification from light oil products since it allows expanding the scope of the used powder sorbents, to use the high-mechanized methods of collecting by means of magnetic and electromagnetic devices.

Among the various methods of water purification from oil pollution, an active magnetic method using powder sorbents with ferromagnetic properties is taking its place. The main components of the sludge are ferromagnetic sorbent, oil and water. The paper discusses some methods of using sludge extracted from water during its cleaning from oil pollution, regeneration and reuse of the sorbent. Particularly, recommendations on the use of sludge as an active fuel additive are given. The possibility of using sludge as a filler for oxygen-flux cutting of concrete and in the production of road-building materials is another demonstrated possibility.

This research is part of the RO-BG Cross-Border Cooperation Program, project “CLEANDANUBE”, MIS-ETC 653, which has finalised by providing a common strategy to prevent the Danube’s pollution technological risks with oil and oil products. This paper presents a new sustainable water purification solution. A short introduction will be offered and an overview regarding the research and new methods to greening the waste is provided. The theoretical aspects of the centrifugal separation phenomenon are studied and the preliminary project bases were established. The paper conveys the possible constructive variations and the technological implications of those. Ultimately, the technical project for a new water purification solution and conclusions with critical points encountered during the designing phase are presented.
