Increase of Functional Position and the rank of lecturer is something that must be done by the lecturers. Because it is a performance parameter of the lecturer. Periods and rules for the increase of functional jabtan and lecturer rank have been arranged in Permenpan and RB No. 17 Year 2013 JO No 46 Year 2013. For that need the existence of management and service from Higher Education to monitor its lecturers to be in a timely manner to perform functional positions and lecturer rank. In support of the above, it is necessary that the supporting technology capable of assisting the service in the university. The technology we built a decision support system for the promotion of functional positions and rank of lecturers, to facilitate the management and service to lecturers in monitoring the process of promotion of functional position and rank of lecturer. Grant scholarships to students are conducted by the University based on the achievements achieved. Since the last few years Bhayangkara University has run a Joint Degree Program scholarship in cooperation with Thailand, India, and plans to continue to the Netherlands. In scholarship grants, the Universityoften finds it difficult to determine the scholarship recipients, so it is found that scholarships are not accurate due to the manual system for the awarding of scholarships. The decision support system is an information system aimed at assisting the University in solving the problem of awarding Joint Degree Program scholarship. One method that can be used in decision support systems is Analitycal Hierarchy Process (AHP). The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method takes into account the extent of validity to the extent of inconsistency tolerance of the various criteria and alternatives chosen by the decision maker. In this research, the data used is UBHARA student data 3 last generation. The criteria used are GPA, TOEFL score, TPA Test Score, and Value of Communication Skill Test. From the results of experiments carried out the results of manual calculations of the application and manual calculations from the Institute of Cooperation get a presentation 100% equation in determining scholarship recipients. So as to produce the ranking of students, two students with the highest score in each department that will get a Joint Degree Program scholarship.Keywords: Scholarship, Student, Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), Decision Support System.

Abstract This work is an attempt to contribute to the knowledge and guidance of young people (lyceum graduates, higher education students and recent graduates) regarding important issues related to their career and vocational prospects. These issues are related to major relevant questions such as 'what' and 'where' to study, as well as the contents and the prospects of all provided specializations by the departments of Greek institutes of higher education. This article focuses on the analysis and the design of a mobile-based decision support system (DSS) to assist its users in getting thoroughly informed about HE studies in Greece, and eventually in choosing their vocational prospects. An extensive literature and applications review has revealed that there are no such DDS systems, giving to this work an innovative character. The article contains all main elements of system's architecture and design including the essential technical information, presents the main features and representative screenshots of the mobile-based application and comes to conclusions and future suggested work.

<p>This study aims to: (1) create category of knowledge communities in university library, (2) designing the prototype of an online encyclopedia of knowledge communities in the university library, and (3) testing a prototype of an online encyclopedia of knowledge communities. The method used is the analysis of web content of the communities website at IPB and development protoype using the MediaWiki software. The first results of this study are categories of knowledge created consisting of the main knowledge about the student association, student activity units, other communities, the terms of the campus and the surrounding of the campus. Second, in designing a prototype of Wiki Kampus make a data flow diagrams, system infrastructure, and installation. Furthermore, installation of MediaWiki including by several stages: (1) downloading and extracting the file master MediaWiki on a web server, (2) set-up the master files MediaWiki, (3) determine the format page categorizing and customize the user interface, and (4) set up a user account for students. Third, Wiki Kampus tested by some students of Master of Information Technology for Libraries (MTP) at IPB and the results is function well.</p><p>Kajian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) membuat kategori pengetahuan komunitas di perpusatakaan PT, (2) merancang prototipe ensiklopedia daring pengetahuan komunitas di perpustakaan PT, dan (3) melakukan ujicoba prototipe ensiklopedia daring pengetahuan komunitas. Metode yang digunakan yaitu analisis konten web komunitas di IPB dan pengembangan prototipe Wiki Kampus menggunakan perangkat lunak MediaWiki. Hasil dari kajian ini yaitu kategori pengetahuan yang dibuat terdiri dari pengetahuan utama yakni seputar himpunan mahasiswa, unit kegiatan mahasiswa, komunitas lain, istilah-istilah kampus dan lingkungan sekitar kampus. Hasil perancangan prototipe Wiki Kampus terdiri dari pembuatan <em>data flow diagram</em>, perencanaan infrastruktur sistem dan penginstalasian perangkat lunak MediaWiki. Penginstalasian MediaWiki melalui beberapa tahapan di antaranya: (1) mengunduh dan mengekstraksi file master MediaWiki pada server web, (2) melakukan <em>set-up</em> file master MediaWiki, (3) menentukan format <em>page categorizing</em> dan mengkustomisasi tampilan pengguna, serta (4) menyiapkan <em>user account</em> untuk mahasiswa. Ketiga, ujicoba Wiki Kampus dilakukan oleh beberapa mahasiswa program Magister Teknologi Informasi untuk Perpustakaan (MTP) IPB berjalan lancar dan berfungsi dengan baik.</p>

This work applies the Multiple Factor Analysis (MFA) as an exploratory methodology to analize the indicators of the education´s management that belong to 32 Colombian public Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) along the year 2013. The product of this work indicates that the majority of HEIs have similar structures, being different and better scored the following: La Universidad Nacional (UNAL), Antioquia (UDEA), Nacional Abierta y a Distancia (UNAD), Pamplona y del Valle. Also the UDEA has a high development in extension, formation, capacity and research which is considered one of the best HEIS in the country. The university of Valle has a high degree of welfare, formation and extension, besides moderate capacities on research in comparission with the UDEA wich is superior to the rest of the HEIs. Pamplona has too a high level of formation, extension and moderate weflare, research and capacity in relation to the UNAD. It worth to mention that UNAL is the best located on extension. However, it is surpassed by other University (UDEA) because has a better development in some variables associated to research and extension. To finish, there are other HEIs with too many weaknesses on the indicators of the education´s management wich are UFPS Ocaña, Sucre and Pacifico. These universities show certain problems of research, extension and capacity, but fundamentally strong shortcomings in formation and welfare.

In execution of PCAOB audits at the Planning and Substantive Phases, forecasts of various financial account balances are often used to collect information on the veracity of the client’s final reported balances. One of the forecast methods widely acclaimed in the academic context is the Rule Based Forecasting [RBF] model of Collopy and Armstrong [C&A]. However, for the most part, the RBF has not found its way into the panoply of the auditor. In our practice-oriented experiential context, the reason for this seems to be the lack of an enabling Decision Support System[DSS] usually needed to create reliable RBF-forecasts in a timely manner needed at the Substantive Phase of the audit. Focus In this report, we detail a GUI-friendly DSS, the VBA-programming of which is based upon a 2013 revision of an updated C&A model offered by Adya and Lusk. The DSS is called: The Reduced Rules: Rule Based Forecasting: Decision Support System [RR:RBF:DSS]. We provide a comprehensive example of the RR:RBF:DSS in a PCAOB-audit context for a Caterpillar™, Inc.Ò account Panel downloaded from Bloomberg™. This example, carefully details all of the numerous User Form-Launch platforms as well as discusses the statistical and operational Rule-scoring functionalities of the RR:RBF:DSS. The RR:RBF:DSS is available as a download without cost or restrictions on its use.
