Abstract:A system using structured reporting of findings was developed for the preparation of medical reports and for clinical documentation purposes in upper abdominal sonography, and evaluated in the course of routine use. The evaluation focussed on the following parameters: completeness and correctness of the entered data, the proportion of free text, the validity and objectivity of the documentation, user acceptance, and time required. The completeness in the case of two clinically relevant parameters could be compared with an already existing database containing freely dictated reports. The results confirmed the hypothesis that, for the description of results of a technical examination, structured data reporting is a viable alternative to free-text dictation. For the application evaluated, there is even evidence of the superiority of a structured approach. The system can be put to use in related areas of application.

The peculiarities of the use of special knowledge in the process of investigation of the specified category of crimes are considered, they consists in narrow directed specifics of violations of safety rules during execution of works with in-creased danger. A range of issues to be clarified during carrying out certain examination is outlined. Their variability is noted depending on the work performed, the type of negative consequences and other elements of the criminalistic characteristics of crime. Scheduling forensic medical and forensic engineering-technical examination on labor protection, mining-technical, construction-technical and technical examination of documents in the aspect of the raised problematics is examined.

The article points to the importance of applying the method of natural modeling as one of the key methods in carrying out comprehensive forensic medical, transport trace evidence and auto-technical examinations. This method give an opportunity identifying a person who was behind steering wheel of the vehicle during a traffic accident in case of intervention in motor vehicle driving by another person: the driver, determining his location in the cabin; identifying the pedestrian's location regarding traumatic elements of the vehicle; determining person location at the time of the traffic accident: on a bicycle or as a pedestrian, led a bicycle nearby. The mentioned method also allows verifying testimonies of traffic accident participants and excludes farfetched options for its development in future. The importance of the method lies in the ability to accurately simulate (reproduce) the mechanism of a traffic accident regarding reciprocal contact of vehicles, with other objects and a person. Advantage of the method of natural modeling over the method of mental modeling which is more widespread while performing comprehensive forensic medical, transport trace evidence examinations is the opportunity to confirm or disprove versions of previous expert versions and reduce their number to a minimum that means in most cases to one. It allows coming to categorical conclusions about the mechanism of human contact with vehicle elements and is of decisive importance while solving by autotechnician experts issues on the establishment of a causal link between the actions of traffic accident participants and the requirements of Traffic Сode of Ukraine.

There has come to exist within the psychometric literature a generalized belief to the effect that a determination of the level of factorial invariance that holds over a set of k populations Δj, j = 1..s, is central to ascertaining whether or not the common factor random variables ξj, j = 1..s, are equivalent. In the current manuscript, a technical examination of this belief is undertaken. The chief conclusion of the work is that, as long as technical, statistical senses of random variable equivalence are adhered to, the belief is unfounded.

Modern development of printing technologies, which allows for short time and with high quality to represent different properties of visible images, instrumental in the improvement of existent methods of imitation of documents. Therefore, with the purpose of high-quality lead through of technical examination of documents it is necessary read-throughs of permanent analysis of information about found out the methods of imitation. Analysis of results forensic science Forensic document center State border guard service of Ukraine testifies to the increase of cases of the use of counterfeit passport documents (passports of Israel, Turkey, France, Sweden) with the inflicted photo of bearer on laminate tape which covers the page of information. Thus, closeness of layer of dye which was used for causing of the second photo did not enable to discover primary in the infra-red rays of light. The second photo was inflicted by finishing printing over laminate tape with the use of stream seal, without sorting out of book block. The analysis of technical descriptions of modern facilities of the contactless printing to show that for the imitation of passports of citizens, countries listed above, used technology of the so-called «UF-printing». Its feature is application in the process of seal of effect of polymerization blackened (paints) under the action of ultraviolet rays. Such technology enables, including polymeric tapes to inflict any images practically on any material, and also allows to create high-quality relief images. Taking into account possibilities technologists of «UF-printing», it can be used with the purpose of high-quality imitation of deep print and relief stamping. Application of this technology for the imitation of documents can complicate finding out imitations during realization of border control, especially, in the clock of peak-loads in the points of admission through a state boundary. And also increases economic feasibilities of offenders for realization of imitation of different documents. In modern terms at the improvement of facilities of defense of documents, the methods of their imitation will be perfected constantly. There is a problem of shortage of information about such imitations. Therefore the actual is become by the necessity of modernization of existing and development of new informative materials in relation to the technological features of making of different sort of documents with the use of methods seals which determine properties of visible in a document image. Key words: passport documents, printing technologies, fake.

The Danish higher technical examination programme (HTX) is the only high school program in Denmark that specialises in technology and engineering. Central to the HTX curriculum are the profile subjects; technology and technical science. In this article, we take a closer look at these subjects, or more precisely, we examine the concept of technology embedded within them. The ministerial order regarding the subjects places the concept of technology within the ‘technology model’. We will examine the background for the model, its potential and limitations and the model's place in teaching through empirical findings from fieldwork in order to examine whether the technology model lives up to its described purpose. Overall, it can be argued that the model works but it can also be argued that the teachers should be aware of the model’s shortcomings and discuss these with students, so they obtain a more dynamic and dialectical understanding of technology.

The Marine Warranty Surveyor’s role is to facilitate, by technical examination, the continuation of insurance cover during those periods of a marine related activity when Class is not involved or Class is suspended. This allows for seamless insurance cover throughout the construction phase covering operations which may result in claims that exceed the deductible, either individually or cumulatively.
