With the rapid growth of information technology, electronic money has played an important and central role in the e-payment. Development of electronic money is able to create a trend less-cash society, which is a society’s behavior using non- cash transactions by utilizing the simplicity offered through electronic transactions. The purpose of this research is to determine the factors affecting the intention to use electronic money. We designed a questionnaire and used it to survey a simple random sampling of people who use of e-money in DKI Jakarta. The actual samples used for the study are 125 respondents. We analyzed the data using Structured Equation Modeling to evaluate the strength of the hypothesized effects. The result of the analysis showed that perceived ease of use has no significant effect on attitudes towards the use of e-money. Perceived ease of use has a significant effect on the perceived usefulness of e-money. Perceived usefulness has no significant effect on the intention to use e-money. Perceived usefulness has a significant effect on attitudes towards the use of e-money. Attitude has a significant effect on the intention to use e-money. Subjective norm has a significant effect on the intention to use e-money. Perceived behavioral control has no significant effect on the intention to use e-money. Keywords: electronic money, technology acceptance model, the theory of planned behavior.

The aim of the research was to conduct quantitative analysis of mobile e-portfolio acceptance by pre-service teacher education program students. Technology Acceptance Model developed by Davis was used in the study to identify the influence of perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, attitude towards the use of e-portfolio on the intention to use it. 136 respondents from three different higher education institutions took part in the survey. The data obtained in the survey was analyzed by applying linear regression analysis. Findings of the research suggest that perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness and attitude to the use of e-portfolio have a significant impact on students’ intention to use the e-portfolio. Among them, attitude towards the use of e-portfolio was the most significant factor that influences the intention to use mobile e-portfolio.

This paper focuses on identifying the factors affecting customer’s adoption of mobile marketing by examining the effects of perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and perceived customer’s knowledge in the telecommunications industry of Tanzania. The study extended the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), with Diffusion of Innovation Theory (DOI), in predicting the customer’s mobile marketing adoption. Survey strategy was employed in data collection by administering the structured questionnaires and collected data using multi stage sampling on 406 respondents in Dar es Salaam. After then, it was analyzed using factor analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple linear regression analysis. Findings indicated that perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and perceived customer knowledge have significant and positive influence on the adoption of mobile marketing in the telecommunication industry in Tanzania. The study contributes to telecommunication practitioners with the integrated theoretical framework, which suggest that telecommunication practitioners need to develop mobile platforms that are easy to use, useful in solving customers’ problems and in designing products whose benefits are easily understood by customers. Through holistic mobile marketing approach, this study makes parsimonious contribution to knowledge by using few variables in predicting the customer’s adoption of mobile marketing in Telecommunication industry in Tanzania.

This study aims to identify the determinants affecting the intention to use online zakat payment among Muslim in Shah Alam, Selangor. A structured questionnaire is distributed to 300 Muslim respondents Muslim using a convenience sampling technique. The results of the estimated multiple regression show that perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use and security and privacy critical drivers of intention to use online zakat payment while no significant relationship was found between trust and amount of information to use online zakat payment. Thus, the empirical findings of this study provide a point of reference to zakat institutions to leverage the usefulness and ease of use of the online collection zakat system to increase zakat collections. The aim of this study is to examine the factors affecting students' intention to use cloud computing in the Jordanian universities. To achieve this purpose, a quantitative research approach which is a survey-based was deployed. Around 400 questionnaires were distributed randomly to Information Technology (IT) students at four universities in Jordan and only 236 valid questionnaires were received. Using multiple regression technique, the results revealed that perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, perceived security, perceived speed of access, and perceived cost of usage were significantly influencing the students' intention to accept and use cloud computing while the Affect was not. Furthermore, the results indicated that the developed model explains 50.4% of the variance in the students' intention to use cloud computing. Practically, the results of this study are considered fruitful for the universities and students to increase the usage of cloud computing in the educational settings.

Teachers in the US have been increasingly adopting mobile devices for teaching, but little research has examined how pre-service teachers perceive mobile device integration in classrooms. To address this issue, the study developed a research model that explained factors affecting pre-service teachers' intention to use mobile devices and the relationship among the factors. A total of 386 pre-service teachers participated in an online survey, and the model was tested using structural equation modeling. The results showed that 72.5% of variances in pre-service teachers' intention to use mobile devices were explained by perceived usefulness and self-efficacy for technology integration jointly, where perceived usefulness was the strongest predictor. The findings also demonstrated that constructivist beliefs and perceived ease of use indirectly influenced pre-service teachers' intention to use mobile devices for teaching.
