This paper gives an overview of electronic learning (E-Learning) and mobile learning (M-Learning) adoption and diffusion trends, as well as their particular traits, characteristics and issues, especially in terms of cross-cultural and universal usability. E-Learning and M-Learning models using web services and cloud computing, as well as associated security concerns are all addressed. The benefits and enhancements that accrue from using mobile and other internet devices for the purposes of learning in academia are discussed. The differences between traditional classroom-based learning, distance learning, E-Learning and M-Learning models are compared and some conclusions are drawn.

Emerging information and communication technologies and learning models have triggered a new wave of educational innovation: electronic learning (E-learning). This study employs a hypercube innovation model to analyze the differences in technology and learning models in conventional (face-to-face) classroom learning and E-learning environments. The results of the analyses indicate that the innovation from traditional classroom learning to E-learning is radical for both the learner and instructor, leading to drastic changes in the technology and learning model. For education institutions, the technology is a fundamental change, while the learning model is reinforced. From the dynamic capability perspectives, a set of core capabilities needed for successfully exploiting E-learning is identified. These results provide insight for learners, instructors, and education institutions for enhancing their understanding of E-learning innovation and provide guidelines to help E-learning stakeholders adapt from conventional classrooms to E-learning environments.

The increasing proliferation of IT services in all sectors has reinforced the adoption and diffusion across all levels of education and training institutions. However, lack of awareness, knowledge about the key challenges, and opportunities of e-learning seem to allude policymakers, resulting in low adoption or increased failure rate of many e-learning projects. Our study tries to address this problem through a review of relevant literature in e-learning. Our goal was to draw from the existing literature, insights into the opportunities and challenges of e-learning diffusion, and the current state-of-research in the field. To do this, we employed a systematic review of literature on some of the salient opportunities and challenges of e-learning innovation for educational institutions. These results aimed to inform policymakers and suggest some interesting issues to advance the research and adoption and diffusion of e-learning. Moreover, the bibliometric analysis shows that the field is experiencing high research attraction among scholars. However, several research areas in the field witnessed relatively low research paucity. Based on these findings, we discussed topics for possible future research.

COVID-19 worldwide pandemic has created the new environment of ability transformation of teachers from organizing traditional classroom learning to manage behavior of their students in electronic learning demanding skill of new technology. It is challenging to achieve positive educational outcomes in Nepal through sound behavior management establishing the environmental context that makes the good instruction and highly effective learning possible. Highly effective instruction reduces, but does not eliminate, students’ behavior problems in both traditional class room and e-learning management. The purpose of this paper is to provide information related to effectiveness of e-learning to improve positive outcomes of teaching regarding educational demographics. Various intellectual properties are reviewed to fulfill the purpose of this paper. Teachers able to break resistance of new technology would be only effective to implement strategies of e-learning and then can appropriately manage the behavior of targeted group of students is crux of this study.

Because very few studies that examine the case in U.S. and Canada have considered the differences in cultural/social context and the different patterns of people's perceptions of the new and emerging technologies, this paper will attempt to demonstrate two different approaches - diffusion theory and cross-cultural perspective - to the adoption and diffusion of mobile telephone and apply them into the adoption of text messaging service in Canada. In regards to the cross-cultural approach, the similarities and differences in regards to young people in both Korea and Canada will be provided as a means to address the relationship between cultural variables/obstacles and the rate of text messaging adoption in Canada"--From Introduction page 3.

AbstractThe face-to-face school learning process in the midst of the covid pandemic is carried out online. This is based on the policy of the Ministry of Education, Circular Letter Number 4 of 2020 regarding the implementation of education policies in the emergency period of the spread of the corona virus. The pandemic condition with the online learning process requires schools and teachers to innovate in the teaching and learning process. With the aim of strengthening the teaching competence of teachers in making learning innovations, the community partnership program is carried out based on special problems faced by partners of SMP Muhammadiyah 14 Lamongan, namely: (a) not being able to innovate blended learning models for online learning; (b) has not been able to optimally use e-learning based on cloud computing; (c) have not been able to innovate in making ICT-based learning media. The solution to the problem of partner needs is answered by three strategies: (a) training in the preparation and development of blended learning models for teachers; (b) create an open-source e-learning website based on chamilo and train teachers and students to use it; (c) train teachers to make learning media based on information and communication technology. Keywords: learning innovation, blended learning, learning.
