A coleta e análise ocorreram simultaneamente. Construction of a theoretical model on taking care of tuberculosis in the perspective of Grounded TheoryAbstract: Grounded theory enables the construction of a substantive theory, abstracting data from cases to concepts, converting them into a set of statements that elucidate events. This article aims to describe the elaboration of a theoretical model about the process of care of the person with tuberculosis, based on the methodological assumptions of Grounded Theory, according to Anselm Strauss and Juliet Corbin. The number of participants was given by sampling and theoretical saturation, giving rise to four sample groups, through questioning and comparative analysis of the data. Collection and analysis occurred simultaneously. In the coding, we had: open coding; axial encoding, regrouping concepts around the common subject, the categories and subcategories originated; and with the refinement and integration of the categories, we came to the selective codification, and construction of the theoretical model. The theoretical model elaborated constitutes a representation of the phenomenon "taking care of the person with tuberculosis in basic health care". In this model, the categories referring to the causal conditions, the interveners, the contexts, the actions / interactions and the consequences of this phenomenon. Keywords: Grounded Theory; Qualitative Research; Models, Nursing; Tuberculosis.

ABSTRACT Objectives: to achieve the degree of saturation in study that applied the grounded theory. Methods: qualitative research, carried out in four Family Health Units, between June 2018 and May 2019. The data from the interviews with 30 health professionals and non-participant observation were coded in the stages: open, axial and integration. Results: the degree of saturation was achieved by two conceptual models - theoretical saturation and inductive thematic. Theoretical saturation was considered: the development of conceptual codes and observation, in the collection and analysis of data, when they generated new categories/subcategories or only indicated increasing instances. For thematic inductive saturation, the use of new codes based on each interview stood out. Final Considerations: the visual layout for the number of codes, the theoretical scope of the concepts and the delimitation of the sample groups guided the identification of the degree of saturation for the development of the conceptual body that supported the substantive theory.

ABSTRACT Objectives: understand the experience of the elderly with falls followed by femoral fracture and elaborate theoretical model of this process of lived experience. Method: qualitative research with theoretical saturation through analysis of the ninth nondirected interview of elderly who underwent such experience. Interviews were recorded, transcribed, and analyzed according to Grounded Theory. Results: three categories emerged (sub-processes): evaluating signs and symptoms of fracture after the fall; feeling sad and insecure with the new condition; and finding oneself susceptible to fractures. From realignment of these categories (sub-processes) we could abstract the central category (process), recognizing oneself as vulnerable to falls in the concreteness of the fracture. Conclusion: the theoretical model considering the Symbolic Interactionism signals the implementation of continued program for fall prevention, with teaching strategies that encourage the elderly to reflect on the concreteness of contexts in which there is risk of occurring injury to their health.

Historically, spirituality in nursing was considered a fundamental dimension, contributing to patients’ wellbeing. Accordingly, nurses are expected to attend to the spiritual needs of patients as a part of holistic nursing care, and pre-registration nurse education (that is undergraduate nurse education) has a responsibility to equip them to fulfil this aspect of their role. However, the content of spirituality in nurse education programmes lack structure and consistency, hence further investigation into the value of such education and its transferability in clinical practice is needed. Data collection was by individual interviews with 13 pre-registration participants undertaking adult nursing between March 2012 and May 2014. Each interview was digitally recorded and transcribed verbatim. Through theoretical sampling, data collection and analysis occurred in a cyclical manner until theoretical saturation/sufficiency was reached. The participants’ main concerns were: explaining spirituality, remembering spirituality education and content, and uncertainties about facilitating patients’ spiritual needs; these combine to form ‘having sufficient spirituality education to facilitate patients’ spiritual needs’. The substantive theory of ‘Enablement’ (make possible) was constructed to explain how the participants resolved their main concern. This investigation reveals how the participants acquire and translate spirituality education to practice, so realising holistic care.

With the embedding of internet technology, the entrepreneurial model has been gradually developing from traditional single linear channel into network platform with symbiotic multi-platform. Platform leadership is the most important part of the new one and has been caught greatest attention. This paper put forward a new conception of network entrepreneurial platform leadership innovatively. By the integrated use of the Classical Grounded theory, the Procedure Grounded Theory and the Construction Grounded Theory, it adopted the normative research process of open coding, axial coding and selective coding to refine 34 concept—multi-node interactive, cross-level coupling relationship, etc, and formed 11 fundamental categories which include platform leadership power, network organization entrepreneurial mode, etc. Then, we analyzed the interactions between categories, based on which, a double-level and three-type-characteristics model were ultimately built. The study was finished by both two methods of statistical software and manual operation. In order to improve the reliability and validity of the study, it invited another coder to test the category subordination collaboratively, and used matched group to test the theoretical saturation.

ABSTRACT Objective: to build a theoretical model on the experience and meaning of the breast reconstruction process in women with breast cancer. Method: a qualitative research using Grounded Theory and Symbolic Interactionism as theoretical-methodological frameworks. Data collection and analysis occurred simultaneously, from April to October 2015, through theoretical sampling and theoretical saturation of the categories. Theoretical sample with 31 participants, 21 women and 10 health professionals, interviewed at home or at work, comprising four sample groups. Results: the theoretical model “Women face challenges and overcome difficulties: fear of death, breast mutilation and breast reconstruction, changing the way of being a woman” offers an explanation of the phenomenon and emerged from the systematic interrelation of the 11 study categories, with three causal categories, one category representing the context, five categories of intervening conditions, the strategies and the consequences represented by one category each. Conclusion: this study demonstrates the experience of the breast reconstruction process for women with breast cancer, the meaning of overcoming difficulties, value life and oneself, putting themselves first, taking care of themselves and learning to change, to be more tolerant, to value material things less and to face life with courage and faith. It also indicates that research on theoretical models on issues that plague our professional practices can enhance teaching and science and, consequently, improve care in women's health.

The present study aims to design a social participation model in Iran's sports for all. Based on the exploratory nature of the research subject, the study method was qualitative and a grounded theory strategy was carried out to design a social participation model in Iran's sports for all. Sampling was purposive and had a snowball method. The theoretical saturation was obtained after 27 deep and semi-structured interviews with knowledgeable experts, and then major categories were extracted after completing a coding process. Results of open coding revealed that 811 initial indicators and 184 final indicators determined causal, underlying and intervening conditions, strategies and consequences of social participation in Iran's sports for all. Final indicators were classified into 63 concepts and 28 categories in the axial coding, and finally identified categories resulting from selective coding explained a social participation model in Iran's sports for all.
