Automatic attendance methods are very helpful for students and workers in order to make use of their time more effectively. Maintaining attendance is the most troublesome assignment in different organizations. In recent days we have seen abrupt increment in the utilization of biometric technology in the fields of IT, education institute, transportation, etc. Internet of things is also blooming parallel. Automatic attendance system is an implementation of internet of things through Arduino ide, thingspeak finger print scanner R305 in order to reduce the time consumed by the traditional attendance method. There are various technologies like RFID, fingerprint and face recognition technologies are introduced in order to save time and reduce efforts. In this paper we are going to compare those technologies and understand which is best among them.

<p><span>In the last decade, facial recognition techniques are considered the most important fields of research in biometric technology. In this research paper, we present a Face Recognition (FR) system divided into three steps: The Viola-Jones face detection algorithm, facial image enhancement using Modified Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram Equalization algorithm (M-CLAHE), and feature learning for classification. For learning the features followed by classification we used VGG16, ResNet50 and Inception-v3 Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) architectures for the proposed system. Our experimental work was performed on the Extended Yale B database and CMU PIE face database. Finally, the comparison with the other methods on both databases shows the robustness and effectiveness of the proposed approach. Where the Inception-v3 architecture has achieved a rate of 99, 44% and 99, 89% respectively.</span></p>

Human face images are the basis not only for person recognition, but for also identifying other attributes like gender, age, ethnicity, and emotional states of a person. Therefore, face is an important biometric identifier in the law enforcement and human–computer interaction (HCI) systems. The 3D human face recognition is emerging as a significant biometric technology. Research interest into 3D face recognition has increased during recent years due to availability of improved 3D acquisition devices and processing algorithms. A 3D face image is represented by 3D meshes or range images which contain depth information. In this paper, the objective is to propose a new 3D face recognition method based on radon transform and symbolic factorial discriminant analysis using KNN and SVM classifier with similarity and dissimilarity measures, which are applied on 3D facial range images. The experimentation is done using three publicly available databases, namely, Bhosphorus, Texas and CASIA 3D face database. The experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

In this research we have proposed IOT based advanced Online examination using Raspberry pi for Alarm system and border security. With the event of recent education, considering the defect of current online exam system, a replacement projection of online exam system primarily based on Raspberry pi IOT is projected, and also the key implementation techniques and ways also are represented. Internet of Things (IOT) has provided a promising chance to make powerful Examination systems and applications by leverage the growing omnipresence of wireless, RFID mobile and detector devices. a large vary of IOT applications are developed in recent years. In a shot to grasp the event of IOT in on-line examination, here we tend to propose this analysis of IOT, IOT key facultative technologies, major IOT applications in on-line examination and identifies analysis trends and challenges. Here we tend to introduce all the examiner details square measure holds on within the server. Then if somebody needs to starts on-line examination, 1st they ought to apply face recognition (in Open CV based) technique. as a result of it slow unwanted person conjointly enter to Wright the examination, thus this can be the simplest thanks to known any culprits square measure found or not. Then examination enter to Wright the exam, here conjointly I am apply some security. Currently a day’s already queries square measure hold on within the on-line or any paper written copy.

The paper focuses on two areas, automation and security. Raspberry Pi is the heart of the project and it is fuelled by Machine Learning Algorithms using Open CV and Internet of Things. Face recognition uses Linear Binary Pattern and if an unknown person uses their workstation, a message will be sent to the respective person with the photo of the person who uses the workstation. Face recognition is also being used for uploading attendance and switching ON and OFF appliances automatically. During un-official hours, A Human Detection algorithm is being used to detect the human presence. If an unknown person enters the office, a photo of the person will be taken and sent to the authorities. This technology is a combination of Computer Vision, Machine learning and Internet of things, that serves to be an efficient tool for both automation and security.

Biometric Technology has turned out to be a popular area of research in computer vision and one of the most successful applications for identifying humans by capturing and analysing the sole feature or characteristic of   individual which is possessed by them and involves their Physical and Behavioral characteristics. For the individual validation and authentication the biometric system has this responsibility. Biometric Technology started from the fingerprints recognition and later on improvements were done in it to make it more secure which involves the face recognition and iris Recognition. Almost both of them are available and regarded as the accurate and reliable technology for biometric validation system. This review paper is all about Face recognition techniques in biometric locking system and Iris recognition technique of identification and the ways of making locking systems ways more efficient, full of ease, more secure, and far better than before so as to make locking or security stronger. It discusses about face recognition technique, its working and its application in different sector along with iris recognition, its working, its application.
