Business models built upon multimedia/multisensory setups delivering user experiences within disparate contexts—entertainment, tourism, cultural heritage, etc.—usually comprise the installation and in-situ management of both equipment and digital contents. Considering each setup as unique in its purpose, location, layout, equipment and digital contents, monitoring and control operations may add up to a hefty cost over time. Software and hardware agnosticity may be of value to lessen complexity and provide more sustainable management processes and tools. Distributed computing under the Internet of Things (IoT) paradigm may enable management processes capable of providing both remote control and monitoring of multimedia/multisensory experiences made available in different venues. A prototyping software to perform IoT multimedia/multisensory simulations is presented in this paper. It is fully based on virtual environments that enable the remote design, layout, and configuration of each experience in a transparent way, without regard of software and hardware. Furthermore, pipelines to deliver contents may be defined, managed, and updated in a context-aware environment. This software was tested in the laboratory and was proven as a sustainable approach to manage multimedia/multisensory projects. It is currently being field-tested by an international multimedia company for further validation.

The automation of processes today is one of the present needs in society as a result of the inefficiency that results from carrying out certain tasks without mechanisms that optimize them, whether due to time, efficiency, and in general All the technological progress that we already have, these mechanisms have become obsolete. This document shows a response to this situation, specifically focused on liquid management processes, the implementation of a Level Automated Monitoring and Control System for non-corrosive containers for domestic and commercial use. The adequate selection of the components that make up this system will allow its easy accessibility, with respect to the cost that this implies, its structure will be designed in such a way that it minimizes the execution time, that integrates more than one control, and that its interface Be as friendly as possible with the operator. This allows it to be an easy-to-use system, greatly improving the response time in its realization, as well as it will allow to have a greater control in the capacity of the level of the containers reducing in this way the expenditure of liquids that can be arouse by some carelessness.

This article aims to investigate and present the current situation instituted by the municipalities of the State of Rondônia in the processes of transparency and accountability in people management. The scope of this study covered the research on whether the municipalities of the State, represented by the respective municipal governments, use institutional mechanisms to promote public transparency and to apply accountability in people management processes. The analysis was carried out in twenty municipalities previously selected using a quali-quantitative research instrument that encompasses four dimensions and eleven indicators designed to measure the extent to which these mechanisms are being applied. As a research method, the case study was used, being carried out an exploratory and descriptive research with a qualitative and quantitative approach. As a research source, bibliographic, documentary and field research were sought. The results showed that transparent information and accountability in people management is precarious, which compromises the participation and interaction of society in the monitoring and control of actions, indicating weakness in the monitoring and evaluation of accountability regarding the management of human resources of these institutions.

The principle of construction and a variant of the software and hardware implementation of the sensor system based on intra-fiber Bragg gratings (FBG) by the example of temperature measurement are proposed. The use of spectral-time separation of measuring channels, which takes into account the features of the functioning and placement of sensors based on FBGs, can significantly reduce the cost, dimensions, weight and power consumption of the interrogator, and neutralize the difficulties in setting up and periodic calibration typical for serial products. The test results of the system show the directions and prospects of using the developed equipment as part of portable and on-board monitoring and control systems.

A novel fan filter unit (FFU) motors group control system based on ZigBee wireless sensor networks is designed and implemented. The overall structure and composition of the proposed system were described. The design was achieved by software and hardware, used the digita1 signal controller (DSC) dsPIC30F3010 as the control core. The group system communicate by the use of ZigBee wireless sensor network based CC2531,which effectively overcome the traditional FFU fan group control network wiring complexity and high cost disadvantages, and improve the flexibility and control accuracy, meanwhile reducing system cost. The testing results show that the proposed system is feasible, accurate monitoring and control effectively, has the high valuable in engineering and marketing.
