As institutions operate in a competitive market, there are always unexpected changes and difficulties that complicate academic and administrative positions and achieve key organizational goals and objectives. This paper aimed to assess the link of sustainable talent management practices on employee job satisfaction in the higher education sector located in North Lebanon and to reinforce this relationship by taking into account the mediating effect of the organizational culture. A structured questionnaire has been distributed to study a research sample of 200 randomly selected workers from ten public and private Lebanese institutions. Structural equation modeling was used to assess the presented hypotheses. The findings indicated a strong and significant positive relationship between the sustainable talent management practices and employee’s job satisfaction, whereas organizational culture had a mediation effect on the relationships between independent variables, with a statistically significant positive impact, and a statistically significant negative indirect effect relationship between knowledge sharing and employee’s job satisfaction. The study engages a fit model to clarify the relationship between sustainable talent management practices and employee’s job satisfaction. Hence, the study encourages organizations to take advantage of sustainable talent management practices within their institutions to further develop their competitive achievement along with the satisfaction of their employees.

This research aims to determine the role of job satisfaction as a mediator of the relationship between principal supervision and compensation for teacher performance. The research design used a quantitative approach to causality. To obtain research data using documentation instruments and distributing questionnaires online. The sample used in the study was 215 respondents. The basis for determining the sample is oriented towards a non-probability sampling approach using a purposive sampling formula. To test the mediating effect of satisfaction and the relationship between principal supervision and compensation on teacher performance, a structural equation modeling (SEM) approach is used using partial least squares. Under the research results, It was found that the fact that principal supervision had a significant effect on job satisfaction and teacher performance. Then compensation also has a significant effect on job satisfaction and teacher performance. The findings of the mediation effect state that job satisfaction successfully mediates the relationship between principal supervision and compensation for teacher performance

This study aimed to analyze the factors that influence employee talent management and their impact on job satisfaction, job performance, and commitment sustainability. The study was conducted on workers in five companies located in Karawang Regency (pallet plastics, automotive, and hospitality industries) and Bogor (garment industry) located in the province of West Java, and South Tangerang (heavy tractor industry). This sample of respondents will answer the questionnaire in the questionnaire.) in Banten province. Data collection was conducted through questionnaire sharing with a sample of 250 employees, as well as interviews and focus group discussions (FGD) with a number of stakeholders. Questionnaires before being applied in field studies were examined using Pearson and Cronbach Alpha approaches in order to identify the level of validity and reliability. The analysis of the research was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach with the help of the Lisrel 8.70 program. The results show that organizational culture factors, transformational leadership, and job sharing have a positive impact on employee talent management, and talent management itself has an impact on job satisfaction, job performance, and commitment sustainability. It is recommended in the development of this talent-based workforce that the above factors should be considered along with the highest contributing factors to each factor.   Received: 22 March 2021 / Accepted: 27 July 2021 / Published: 5 September 2021

This study examines the influence of organizational culture on employee performance and examines the mediating effect of work motivation and job satisfaction variables. The research sample was 114 employees at the Aceh Sharia Bank Bireuen Branch. The analytical tool used is path analysis using the SEM method (structural equation modeling) using Amos. The results showed that each variable of organizational culture, work motivation and job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on performance, and work motivation mediates exogenous variables with endogenous variables partially mediating. Job satisfaction variable, on the other hand, becomes a very good intermediary (full mediation) between exogenous and endogenous variables

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between volunteer management and volunteers’ intention to continue participating, based on the environmental psychology model. Moreover, this study investigated the mediating role of volunteers’ job satisfaction in this relationship. Using a sample drawn from volunteers of a cultural event in Singapore, this research conducted confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling analysis. The results showed a positive relationship between volunteer management and volunteers’ intention to continue volunteering, with a full mediating effect of job satisfaction on this relationship. Also, the highest attribution of positive management practices came from reward and recognition, followed by empowerment, schedule flexibility, orientation and training, and social interaction. The findings of this study provide a perspective on how volunteer management can position itself for volunteer retention.

It has been suggested that talent management (TM) has a direct and significant relationship with a number of employee outcomes. This is while the number of studies examining the process of TM leading to these outcomes are limited. Therefore, the main purpose of this study is to present a new model for analyzing processes of TM and its linkage with several employee and organizational outcomes that are organizational commitment and turnover intentions. Additionally, the present paper involves a mediating factor (P-O fit) alongside a moderating variable that is, Organizational Culture. A sample of 510 employees were selected from different banks located in Amman, Jordan. Mediation and moderation models were tested through structural equation modeling (SEM). The findings, being in consensus with previous studies, showed that TM has a linkage with both TI and Organizational Commitment. Mediating effect of P-O fit was shown with both aforementioned variables. In addition, the moderation effect of organizational culture on the relationship between TM and TI was found. The study contributes to the literature of the topic by providing a fit model to explain the linkage of TM and a number of organizational and employee outcomes. Bank managers can benefit by being aware and implying TM practices within their firms to further develop company advancements and attending to their employees based on new HRM trends.

This study aims to explore the influence of Natural Resources and Environment (NRE), Politico-Economic Conditions (PEC) on Tourist Behavioral Intension (TBI) in Hunza, Pakistan. The study further investigates the mediating role of Tourist Satisfaction (TS) on the given variables. Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) technique has been applied to conceptualize the research frame and to test the proposed hypotheses. Primary data was collected by using convenient sampling technique for analysis from 220 tourists who visited tourism nucleus sites of Hunza. The finding of the study reveals that Natural resources and Environment, Politico-and Economic Conditions have a significant positive impact on Tourist’s Behavioral Intensions. Moreover, Tourist’s Satisfaction partially mediates the positive relationships among Natural Resources and Environment, Political & Economic Conditions and Tourist’s Behavioral Intensions. The findings of the study extend the understanding that presence of natural resources along with healthy environment and stable political & economic conditions of a destination are the key determinants for sustainable tourism development.

Green human capital (GHC) is regarded as one of the primary attributes individuals need to develop in the era of environmental degradation. Many existing studies indicate that it is probably an important indicator of employees’ satisfaction in the workplace. Thus, based on trait theory and ability–motivation–opportunity theory, the current study examines the antecedents and outcomes of GHC among 630 employees from the manufacturing and service companies in Guangdong Province. The research employs Big Five personality and green training as the predictors of GHC, and job satisfaction as the outcome variable. Partial least squares structural equation modeling is used to analyze the data. The findings show that, in Big Five personality domains, only agreeableness and openness have a positive as well as significant impact on the individuals’ GHC, and that green training also has a positive influence on the GHC. GHC has a positive impact on the employees’ job satisfaction. The research findings and managerial implications are then discussed in detail.

Production deviance is 1 of 5 dimensions of counterproductive work behaviors (CWB). Based on data collected from 362 employees of Chinese enterprises, I examined the predictive effect of Confucian values on production deviance and the mediating effect of job satisfaction on the relationship between Confucian values and production deviance using structural equation modeling. I analyzed 3 factors of production deviance: work sabotage, slackness, and withdrawal. Confucian values were found to have a significant negative impact on these factors. Furthermore, job satisfaction was found to partially mediate the relationship between Confucian values slackness and withdrawal, but not work sabotage.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to investigate the role of retailer trustworthiness in driving customer trust and the subsequent impact on loyalty. The authors position trustworthiness as a mediator in the link between retail strategies and the development of trust. They model customer loyalty to the service retailer as a function of the trust created through trustworthy perceptions. Design/methodology/approach – The authors validate their model using 420 survey responses from customers in a service retail setting. Nine research hypotheses were tested using structural equation modeling. Alternate models are estimated, and the results provide support for the theory-based trustworthiness mediation model. Findings – Trustworthy behaviors first build trustworthiness, which then translates into customer trust and ultimately has a positive impact on both behavioral and attitudinal loyalty. Research limitations/implications – The research highlights the importance for retailers to signal their trustworthiness to build customer trust and loyalty. Researchers should measure trustworthiness perceptions when examining customer relationships and managers should plan strategically to develop both trust and trustworthiness with their customers. Originality/value – This study is one of the first to investigate the mediating effect of trustworthiness on customer loyalty in service settings. While past research has investigated dimensions of trustworthy behaviors, none has included a measure of trustworthiness perceptions and consumer trust in the same theoretical model. The results of the research provide important insights for both researchers and managers.
