The eight perceptual attributes for soundscape assessment provided in ISO/TS 12913-2: 2018 are widely used in recent soundscape studies. Several studies across the language showed that the basic structure of the soundscape appraisal two-dimension space obtained from the attributes are robust. However, this robustness of the basic structure only means the robustness of the linguistic structure of the eight perceptual attributes, and never means those attributes cover the whole human perception of the soundscapes. Some studies suggest there are some appraisal scales which cannot be expressed in the two-dimensional appraisal space. This study discusses which aspects of soundscape can the soundscape attributes measure.

We investigate a planar ion chip design with a two-dimensional array of linear ion traps for the scalable quantum information processor. The segmented electrodes reside in a single plane on a substrate and a grounded metal plate, a combination of appropriate rf and DC potentials are applied to them for stable ion confinement, and the trap axes are located above the surface at a distance controlled by the electrodes' lateral extent and the substrate's height as discussed. The potential distributions are calculated using static electric field qualitatively. This architecture is conceptually simple and many current microfabrication techniques are feasible for the basic structure. It may provide a promising route for scalable quantum computers.

The discovery of high temperature superconductivity has motivated a vigorous study of the physics of Hubbard systems. Here, the properties of the spin aspects of the Hubbard system in two-dimension, in the strong coupling limit, are briefly reviewed, with the basic ideas, some of the fundamental questions and the state of the art introduced.

Bifurcation structures in two-dimensional parameter spaces formed only by chaotic attractors are still far away from being understood completely. In a series of three papers, we investigate the chaotic domain without periodic inclusions for a map, which is considered by many authors as some kind of one-dimensional canonical form for discontinuous maps. In the first part, we report a novel bifurcation scenario formed by crises bifurcations, which includes multi-band chaotic attractors with arbitrary high bandcounts and determines the basic structure of the chaotic domain.

Noncommutative phase space of arbitrary dimension is discussed. We introduce momentum-momentum noncommutativity in addition to co-ordinate-coordinate noncommutativity. We find an exact form for the linear transformation which relates a noncommutative phase space to the corresponding ordinary one. By using this form, we show that a noncommutative phase space of arbitrary dimension can be represented by the direct sum of two-dimensional noncommutative ones. In two-dimension, we obtain the transformation which relates a noncommutative phase space to commutative one. The transformation has the Lorentz transformation-like forms and can also describe the Bopp's shift.

To deal with the complete description and quick search in 3D assembly instruction publishing, a Two-dimension description method of process information for 3D assembly instruction publishing was presented. Two-dimensional description model of process information is established from operation description and granularity by this method. In order to organize process information with a certain description stage, the concept of process information layer was proposed, and the describe structure for process information layers was been build based on similarity criteria. Subsequently, an abstract matrix representation method is provided to express 3D process information and build the assembly instructions publishing model. Abstract matrix representation method was the key to influence the 3D process information description, Therefore, In-depth researched on it and an instantiated matrix is given. Finally, an illustrative example is used to explain an application of the proposed approach.

Through his life as a pupil in his early years and the transformation into a Fauve (wild beast), Henri Matisse learnt that he must forgo the traditional techniques of the masters and understand art in his own way. He first replaced the color scheme in his paintings with purer colors and clearer outlines of color ranges; in his later life, he devoted himself to two-dimensional coloring and finally to two-dimensional paper cut-outs. Therewith, a unique style brought forth by Henri Matisse took shape, ushering the diversification of the drawing medium. Since then, paintings are no more confined to rigid classicism, which only explores the relationship between colors in sketch-based three-dimensional spaces, but a reflection of the painters’ scrutiny of the nature of painting.

To research aerodynamic layout of the two-dimensional correct projectile, the model of projectile under different aerodynamic layout was established. Various kinds of aerodynamic dates were obtained through aerodynamic simulation. Through the establishment of suitable for two-dimensional modified ballistic model of the projectile, the capability of correcting has been received for the different layouts of the rudder. The simulation results show, to meet the aerodynamic layout of the two-dimensional correct projectile and flight stability, the rudder is closer to the head of the projectile, the correction ability is better.
