This study aims to analyze the effect of profitability, firm size, and debt level on tax avoidance. The sample in this study are mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2016-2019 period. The sample in this study using purposive sampling method obtained a sample of 23 mining companies. Tests in this study using SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) analysis tools and data analysis in this study using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that the profitability variable is negative on tax avoidance, company size has no effect on tax avoidance, while the level of debt has a negative and significant effect on tax avoidance. The variables of profitability, firm size, and debt level together have a significant effect on tax avoidance. Keywords: tax avoidance, profitability, firm size, debt level.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of return on assets, leverage, company size and sales growth on tax avoidance. The population in this study were all mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period from 2016 to 2018. The research sample was obtained by using the purposive sampling method, where only 21 mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange met all the criteria so that 63 data were obtained, used as a research sample. The data is secondary data. Sources of data in this study were obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange website. This study uses multiple regression models to examine the effect of each variable on tax avoidance. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the variable return on assets, leverage, company size and sales growth affect tax avoidance.

This study aims to examine the effect of Executive Character, Company Size, AuditQuality, and Audit Committee on Tax Avoidance. Executive Character is measured bycalculating company risk, Company Size is determined based on company size, AuditQuality is stated based on who KAP audits the company, and Audit Committee isdetermined based on the number of Audit Committees in the company. While TaxAvoidance is measured by CETR. By taking samples of mining companies that areactive and listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period of 2012 to 2016selected by purposive sampling technique, the research data collected throughdocumentation techniques are then analyzed by multiple linear regression and theresults show that Executive Character, Company Size, Quality Audit, and the AuditCommittee simultaneously have a significant effect on Tax Avoidance. But partiallyonly Audit Quality has an effect on Tax Avoidance.

Time period in completing the audit work until the date of publishing audit report is called audit report lag. BAPEPAM requires each of going-public companies to publish their annual reports not later than three months after the fiscal year ends. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of profitability, solvency, company size, audit opinion, and size of public accounting firm on audit report lag at mining companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period of 2013-2017. As many as 12 samples were obtained through purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique used was the multiple regression analysis. The results showed that the profitability and company size negatively affected the audit report lag, while the other variables, such as solvency, audit opinion, and size of public accounting firm, had no significant effect on the audit report. The result of simultaneous test showed that all independent variables influenced audit report lag with 32.8% of determination coefficient.

The purpose of this research is to examine and analyze the impact of related party transaction, profitability, Leverage and size of a company on firm value with tax avoidance as an intervening variable. The telecommunication and media sector in Bursa Efek Indonesia and Bursa Malaysia is chosen as the research object. The population is all the telecommunication and media companies listed in Indonesia stock exchange (IDX) and Bursa Malaysia within 2010-2018. It consists of 6 Telecommunication Company and 19 Media Company on IDX within 2010-2018. There exist a total of 33 companies in both the telecommunication and media sector in Bursa Malaysia. The sample's determination in this study is based on the nonprobability sampling method with the purposive sampling technique, in which the sample is selected with certain considerations or specific criteria. So that the sample of Malaysia is 248 and Indonesia is 139 data. Malaysia's telecommunications sector has 18 companies, and Indonesia has five companies. Meanwhile on media sector Indonesia consist of 15 company and Malaysia 12 company. This research adopts secondary data and multiple regression analysis for the regression to substructure I and II. The hypothesis mediation analysis is used to prove the mediation influence. Malaysia and Indonesia's results on Firm value: (1) Related party transaction has a positive but not significant impact. In contrast, Indonesia has a significant positive impact (2) Profitability has a significant negative impact both in Indonesia and Malaysia (3) Leverage has positive. However, not significant impact in Malaysia and Indonesia (4) Size of the company has a negative and significant impact for both country (5) Tax Avoidance has a negative but not significant impact. In contrast, Indonesia has a positive and significant impact on firm value. Related to the impact of variable independent toward tax avoidance, based on Malaysia's result, just the size of a company has the impact but negative and significant. Meanwhile, in Indonesia, Related party transaction and Leverage were known to have a negative and significant impact, and the size of the company has positive and significant toward tax avoidance. Based on Malaysia's result, tax avoidance does not impact all the independent variables on firm value. Based on Indonesia's result, the impact of company size on firm value is mediated by tax avoidance (Z). Based on the independent t-test, the variables that have different mean values are related to party transactions and company size. Taxes are the largest state revenue, but tax companies are a burden that can reduce profits received by shareholders. Then in 2019 tax revenue from the mining sector in 2019 experienced a significant decline. Based on this, this study aims to see how the level of profitability of companies, institutional ownership and audit committees affect mining companies in avoiding taxes. By using 19 company samples for the 2016-2018 period, researchers found that profitability and audit committees could increase corporate tax avoidance. whereas institutional ownership has no influence on tax avoidance.

The research aims to determine the influence of company size, leverage, profitability, sales growth, audit committee, and cash flow operations against tax avoidance. Dependent variables in this study are tax avoidance while the independent variables used in this research are company size, leverage, profitability and audit committees. This research is focused on the LQ45 company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) period 2015-2018. The selection of samples in this study used the purposive sampling method, thus obtained a sample of 51 sample data from the LQ45 company population listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) period 2015-2018. The analytical tools used in this study are multiple linear regression analyses. The results of this research show that the variable cash flow operations affect the tax avoidance, while the company size variables, leverage, profitability, sales growth and audit committees do not affect the tax avoidance.

Investment is a delay in consumption now to be allocated to productive assets which are expected to generate profits in the future, which is called stocks return.  Mining company in Indonesia is an attractive sector to invest in stocks because from a geographical perspective, Indonesia is an archipelago structure that contains mining products. There are risks that will be experienced by investors when investing, namely systematic risk and unsystematic risk. Unsystematic risk can be avoided because related to management decisions. Knowing and analyzing the effect of debt policy, firm value, company size, investment cash flow on stock returns on mining companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. The statistical method used in this study is multiple regression analysis. The sample in this study is a mining company that has go public and published audited financial statements 2013-2017 with 84 data processed consisting of 28 companies each year. The results of hypothesis testing can be concluded that debt policy and firm value have significant effect on stock returns while firm size and investment cash flow does not have significant effect on stock returns. Investor will be interested in investing in companies with good financial performance rather than bad financial performance.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of company size on corporate social responsibility disclosure and to determine the effect of audit committee size on corporate social responsibility disclosure, and to determine the effect of company size and audit committee size together on corporate social responsibility disclosure in mining companies in the period 2014-2018. Data collection using secondary data obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population in this study are mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Sampling with puposive sampling method, there are 155 samples. The method of analysis uses multiple linear regression. The results of the study concluded that the size of the company and the size of the audit committee simultaneously had a significant effect on corporate social responsibility disclosure, company size had no significant effect on corporate social responsibility disclosure, and the size of the audit committee had a significant effect on corporate social responsibility disclosure.
