Many critical applications need more accuracy and speed in the decision making process. Data mining scholars developed set of artificial automated tools to enhance the entire decisions based on type of application. Phishing is one of the most critical application needs for high accuracy and speed in decision making when a malicious webpage impersonates as legitimate webpage to acquire secret information from the user. In this paper, we proposed a new Association Classification (AC) algorithm as an artificial automated tool to increase the accuracy level of the classification process that aims to discover any malicious webpage. An Intelligent Association Classification (IAC) algorithm developed in this article by employing the Harmonic Mean measure instead of the support and confidence measure to solve the estimation problem in these measures and discovering hidden pattern not generated by the existing AC algorithms. Our algorithm compared with four well-known AC algorithm in terms of accuracy, F1, Precision, Recall and execution time. The experiments and the visualization process show that the IAC algorithm outperformed the others in all cases and emphasize on the importance of the general and specific rules in the classification process

IoT and the Cloud are among the most disruptive changes in the way we use data today. These changes have not significantly influenced practices in condition monitoring for shipping. This is partly due to the cost of continuous data transmission. Several vessels are already equipped with a network of sensors. However, continuous monitoring is often not utilised and onshore visibility is obscured. Edge computing is a promising solution but there is a challenge sustaining the required accuracy for predictive maintenance. We investigate the use of IoT systems and Edge computing, evaluating the impact of the proposed solution on the decision making process. Data from a sensor and the NASA-IMS open repository were used to show the effectiveness of the proposed system and to evaluate it in a realistic maritime application. The results demonstrate our real-time dynamic intelligent reduction of transmitted data volume by without sacrificing specificity or sensitivity in decision making. The output of the Decision Support System fully corresponds to the monitored system's actual operating condition and the output when the raw data are used instead. The results demonstrate that the proposed more efficient approach is just as effective for the decision making process.

A large number of medical errors occurring in hospitals happen in the diagnostic process, such as the use of outmoded tests and the failure to perform on test results, leading to delays in the diagnosis. Thus, fast and efficient access to the patients' exams and test results is essential to provide them adequate treatment. This need demands solving problems that exist during this process of consulting the results in order to reduce clinical risk. Therefore, an analysis of the problems in the visualization process of the exams in Centro Hospitalar do Porto was carried out, leading to the development of a new platform - AIDA-MCDT, whose main objective was to fill the gaps verified, making the access to exams' results more efficient and intuitive. This platform has significantly improved the system's usability, including several features designed to help healthcare professionals make decisions more quickly and securely.

The paper substantiates the statement that decision-making process during development of process flow for manufacture of ship structures can be automated using an information model of a ship structure. In order to create an automated approach to the decision-making process during development of process flow, an analysis of the decision-making process has been carried out, a unified process algorithm has been developed and a flow diagram for development of a process flow for manufacturing a hull structure has been built. The interrelation of various factors has been analyzed, such as: goals for development of the given process flow, parameters of the process flow, options for the process solution and types of process operations. An example has been given of selecting a process flow in a specific case when cutting hull parts using various ways, and a method has been determined that corresponds to the goals set. The article proposes the concept of an information model of a ship's hull structure, which involves the use of a 3D model of the structure and a set of databases, including a standard framing of hull stiffening members, process data, regulatory and reference documentation, process operations.

This article investigates the decision-making process in the French bicameral legislature: the navette system. In this system, the legislation shuttles between the two houses until agreement is reached or until a stopping rule is applied. We examine the interaction between upper and lower houses as a bargaining game with complete and one-sided incomplete information. The complete information model permits us to evaluate the political implications of the navette's various institutional features (where the bill is first introduced, number of iterations, final veto power, etc.). The incomplete information approach permits us to predict the duration of the navette process. Data from the French Fifth Republic in the 1959–86 period corroborate the conclusions of the model. Because the navette system is the most commonly used method of decision making in bicameral legislatures, the model can be usefully generalized to other countries.
