Laptops are thing that are needed by the community in educational activities and in work activities, but the accuracy in choosing laptops based on needs is difficult because there are many laptop brands with a variety of prices and features. This study discusses the selection of laptops as a daily driver for students in North Jakarta, researchusing the AHP method to analyze several alternatives that have been determined based on filling priority weights between criteria and criteria, and alternatives with alternativesfor each criterion. The results of this study indicate that the price, processor, and RAM criteria are the three biggest criteria determining laptop selection. The alternative chosen in this study is the ASUS A456UR

Selection of the appropriate composition desalination units can be done with a variety of method approaches, one of the method is the Analytic Hierarchy Process. In determining the desalination unit with AHP method to consider is setting a goal, an alternative criteria and pairwise comparison. Research for the determination of the exact composition of the desalination unit in order to achieve sustainable drinking water suppy in coastal areas and small islands has been conducted. The results of the study are as follows, the energy demand of 50.83%, operator costs of 26.64%, maintenance costs of 14.13% and chemical requirement 8.4%. For an alternative composition desalination unit of RO 10 m3 / day is the best alternative composition with value of 59.61%, the composition of the next alternative is RO 20 m3/ day of 30.40% and the last alternative of the desalination unit composition is RO 120 m3/ day of 09.99%.Key words : Desalination, Mukti Stage Flash Composition, AHP

Process of selecting outstanding cadets is a multi-criteria problem, so get objectively achieving cadets, a decision support system with multiple criteria is needed. As an appreciation for achievement, a few universities provide scholarships for high achieving students. However, a few universities choose outstanding students based only on GPA. This study aims to analyze the application of the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method in the Decision Support System for the selection of cadets so that objectively achieving candidates can be determined. Because the number of prospective cadets with many achievements, Random Index (IR) value is obtained from IR table > 15. This study uses 4 criteria, namely the GPA criteria with eigenvectors = 0.111, Scientific works with eigenvectors = 0.563, extracurricular (Achievement) with eigen vector = 0.246 Foreign language proficiency with eigenvector = 0.08. From the research results obtained the value of CR = -0,987 <= 0.1, then the value of the comparison criteria is consistent. The results showed that there were differences in the ranking of outstanding cadets at the Medan Aviation Polytechnic according to the GPA and the AHP method

This article describes how when having already purchased one product, it is likely that a consumer may look for complementary ones. That is why almost recommender systems integrate modules for managing complementarity between products and services. An Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) based model is described in the present paper, whose objective is to help recommend to customers among a set of complementary products the best ones. Selecting the best complementary products is done through an evaluation process of the alternatives according to a number of criteria.

Eight of them are stamping suppliers. The purpose of this study is to design an AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) model that can be used to determine the criteria and the score of that, also determine the alternative suppliers which are the main priority in selecting supplier stamping.  Based on the data processing using the AHP method, obtained 5 criteria, Quality, price, delivery, capability, and service. The highest criteria’s value is quality with score 30%. While the priority of stamping supplier is PT C (12,49) and PT E is the supplier which is not prioritized because it is in the lowest position (5,68).

AbstractThis article presents the application of the AHP method (Analytic Hierarchy Process) for a multi-criteria decision analysis of the offers of residential premises. The rankings of the offers are the result of the study which takes into account the preferences of specific social groups (consumer profiles). The study has verified the view that the widespread use of the AHP method for the complex issue of multi-parametric selection and the choice of the preferred residential offers - from among a large number of distributed adverts in different websites - requires the development of the specialised computer system.
