This paper aims to analyze the cycle time of the assembly line of one of the weapons products at PT. Pindad (Persero) and to explore the effective methods to improve its performance. The method used is a quantitative analysis of assembly data involving 155 components and 56 tasks distributed over 43 work stations, accompanied by document analysis, especially on scientific literature, to elaborate various appropriate methods to become solutions to the problems encountered. The results show that almost all workstations had a cycle time greater than the takt time. It is also known that there is an imbalance of existing workstations, with the lightest workload lasting 67 seconds while the largest workload lasting 253 seconds. The results of the elaboration of the literature show that several potential methods can provide solutions to the problems encountered by considering the characteristics of the assembly line with a straight-line configuration. This study contributes to the literature by analyzing cycle times and assembly line balances in the defense industry relatively rarely studied in Indonesia.

The manufacturing industry in general cannot be separated from the role of the plastic industry. In Indonesia, there are 925 companies that produce various kinds of plastic products for the food and beverage industry, automotive industry, pharmaceutical industry and other industries. Companies are faced with challenges to improve their supply chain competitiveness, while plastic packaging companies generally do not have a comprehensive performance measurement framework in their supply chains. The purpose of this research is to select and determine the level of importance of the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) for measuring the supply chain performance of the plastic packaging industry using the SCOR and AHP framework. In the initial stage, 45 KPIs were identified, from the results of expert validation, 29 KPIs were distributed to the dimensions of reliability, responsiveness, flexibility, cost, and assets. At the level 1 hierarchy the greatest level of importance is generated in the dimensions of reliability (A1), asset management (E1), responsiveness (B1), cost (D1), and flexibility (C1) with weights of 0.262, 0.209, respectively. 0.191, 0.175, and 0.163. The largest distribution of KPIs is on the reliability dimension, namely 32%, followed by the cost dimension of 16%, 12% responsiveness, flexibility and asset management have the same distribution, namely 4%. Based on the results of weighting using the AHP method, a supply chain performance measurement framework is recommended in the case of the plastic packaging industry.

Every village has Village Superior Products (Prudes) which have economic value that can advance the economy of rural communities. However, the consolidation of the Prudes results is still not optimal, it can be seen from the poverty rate in rural areas which is still high when compared to the level of poverty in the city. To overcome this, it requires the efficiency and effectiveness of distribution centers in rural supply chain systems in order to consolidate the Prudes products from a number of villages to a number of customers/consumers. However, the main problem is how many distribution centers are needed and where are the distribution centers located in an area that has the same type of Prudes. Therefore, the aim of this research is to find the best location P from a number of candidates distribution centers (N = 59 villages) where P ≤ N. To achieve the objectives of this study, the P-Median method is used with the help of AMPL software as a data processing tool. in order to complete the model of the P-Median. The objective function of the P-Median model is to find the minimum value of the total cost based on distance (), production volume (), shipping costs (), and fixed cost () at a number of DC facilities. In the process before the completion of the P-Median model, the approach is first carried out proximity analysis which consists of the pre-qualification and qualification processes in determining candidate facility candidates distribution center. This approach was taken to cover the limitations of APML software in processing data. The result of this research is that the optimal number of DC facilities in five DC facilities with a total cost minimum of IDR 91.80 billion. Meanwhile, the facilities are distribution center located in the village of Sanuanggamo, North Tongauna District (P11), Awuliti Village, Lambuya District (P17), Mumundowu Village, Pondidaha District (P36), Duriasi Village, Wonggeduku District (P44), and Puday Village, West Wonggeduku District (P53).

A systematic literature review is a rigorous method of assessing and combining research results compared to the usual literature review, which consists of annotated bibliographies, a systematic review of the existing literature regarding specific research questions on a topic of interest. Statistical Process Control (SPC) is a well-established technique in a context that has recently been used in software production. Software production is not like manufacturing because it requires more human resources and machines, resulting in an item's one-time production. It is therefore essential to assess what SPC works in a software context. Thus, this consideration has motivated us to define and conduct an evaluation review to assess whether SPC is used effectively and genuinely Quality Control Cycle (QCC) in Indonesia's various industries. According to a systematic literature review process, an established protocol was revised and refined by the authors. This journal collection of journals has been used in various industries in Indonesia. We report our preliminary considerations and results in a systematic review on the SPC and find 30 journals collected as references for readers in making research journals related to SPC. Our products and first impressions are favorable. This journal collection can also make it easier for researchers to get the desired journal references.
