Methodological approaches to the implementation of the nanostate phenomenon in the formation of the optimal structure of composite materials and metal-polymer systems at different levels of organization have been developed. The concept of energy and technological conformity of the components of functional composite materials and systems is proposed. This concept consists in ensuring the parameters of composite materials energy characteristics adequate to the value of the activation energy of the prevailing structural process, which determines the optimal parameters of stress-strain, adhesion and tribotechnical properties under technological influences on the components in the process of obtaining composite and its processing. The concept has been tested in the development of nanocomposites based on industrial polymer matrices, which surpass analogues in terms of service properties.

This article deals with the research results of electroinsulated and tribotechnical properties of composite materials on the basis of epoxide resin. The effect of fillers — micro-and nanopowders of various materials - on the properties of composites is examined. The use of composites in the manufacture of separators for telemetry systems is demonstrated.

This investigation gives attention on the rheology characteristics of polymer composites based on graphite and carbon black as fillers for further processing using an injection molding machine. In such a high solid loading system, the particles exhibit a very strong tendency toward agglomeration. This rapidly increases the viscosity of the mixture and decreases moldability. The presence of agglomerates in the mixture in particular may result in defect within the microstructure in the final product, even though it is sometime necessary in electrical conductivity. Composite materials in this study are polypropylene (PP) as matrix, and graphite (G) and carbon black (CB) as fillers, with a varied composition according to the percentage weight (% wt) of CB. Twin screw co-rotating extruder was used for mixing materials in order to achieve the best homogeneity of this compound. The measurement results obtained using capillary rheometer equipment showed that the addition of CB to the mixture of PP/G increase the viscosity of the materials, increase the activation energy and generally reduce the fluidity of composite materials. The value of the mixture viscosity increases with increasing the number of CB, reducing the ability of materials to be formed (moldability). Material viscosity, activation energy, fluidity and moldability shows how suitable the compound material to be processed by using injection molding machine.

The analysis of existing aircraft structures made of metal-polymer composite materials is carried out, and a list of them with passport characteristics is compiled. The Fokker F-27 Friendship, Boeing-777 and Airbus A380, which use ARALL and GLARE materials, were selected as the aircraft under study. Formulas are determined and the distribution of normal force flows between metal and composite elements in the composition of MPCM based on aluminum sheets (aluminum-fiberglass – SIAL- 1-1, SIAL-3-1 and SIAL-1441 (9/8)) and titanium alloys (samples of titanium-carbon fiber from the patent-Example 1 and Example 3). To determine these parameters, the formulas used for a composite structure made of different materials are used. On the basis of the specification known MPCM the modified formula mixture rule for calculating the strength of new materials with a given set of orientation angles of PCM and the presence of layers of sheet metal, a comparison with standard mechanical characteristics and to show the efficiency of these formulas. Using these formulas, you can determine the strength characteristics for an arbitrary composition of the MPCM package. The features of the choice of design permissible stresses for the design of the airframe of a mainline aircraft made of metal-polymer composite material are highlighted. The concept of designing aircraft airframe elements using MPCM is considered. The results of this work will allow us to determine the rational components of the metal-polymer composite material and the structure of their distribution in the airframe design at the preliminary design stage.

Conductance DLTS measurements have been performed on 4H-SiC MESFETs. A broad band due to electron emission by different levels is observed. An additional “hole-like” level with activation energy of 0.9 eV is obtained in linear regime but not in saturation regime. From the results, it is proposed that this “hole-like” signal is due to capture of electron present at a conductive SiC/SiO2 interfacial layer.
