In investation, an investor will face two elements related to the capitals or funds which were invested such as return and risk. Both of these elements have a positive correlation. Basically, the greater the returns obtained, the greater the risks it have, indeed the smaller the returns obtained, the smaller the risks it have. The purposes of this study were to find out and to analyze any differences of systematic risks and unsystematic risks of Food and Beverages subsector, Tobacco Manufacturers subsector, Pharmaceuticals subsector, Cosmetics and Household subsector, and Houseware subsector in Consumer Goods Industry sector that were listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The study methods used for this study were data analysis and descriptive analysis. The datas used for this study were secondary data such as 34 Consumer Goods Industry sector companies’ stock price in Indonesia Stock Exchange and Jakarta Composite Index from 2012 January 1st until 2012 December 31st. The hypothesis testing was done by using One Way ANOVA test and Independent Samples t-test with a significance level of 5%. One Way ANOVA test result shows that there were no systematic risk differences among Food and Beverages subsector, Tobacco Manufacturers subsector, Pharmaceuticals subsector, Cosmetics and Household subsector, and Houseware subsector in Consumer Goods Industry sector that were listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The other One Way ANOVA test shows that there were differences among Food and Beverages subsector, Tobacco Manufacturers subsector, Pharmaceuticals subsector, Cosmetics and Household subsector, and Houseware subsector in Consumer Goods Industry sector that were listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. These differences then were seen in Post Hoc test and Independent Samples t-test. It has been seen that Food and Beverages subsector has a greater unsystematic risk from those of Tobacco Manufacturers subsector and Cosmetics and Household subsector, and then Houseware subsector has a greater unsystematic risk from those of Cosmetics and Household Subsector.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of profitability, business risk, managerial ownership, and tax on the capital structure of manufacturing companies in the consumer goods industry sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Capital structure is proxied by debt to equity ratio. The population in this study are all manufacturing companies in the consumer goods industry sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2014-2017. Sample selection through purposive sampling method. There are 12 companies that meet the criteria as research samples so that the observation data is around 48. This study supports literature studies by processing secondary data obtained from annual reports. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis through the program SPSS version 23. The results of this study indicate that profitability, business risk, managerial ownership, and tax simultaneously affect the capital structure with a significance level of 0,000. Partially profitability, business risk, and tax affect the capital structure with a significance level of 0,000. Managerial ownership partially does not affect the capital structure with a significance level of 0,058.   Keywords : Profitability, business risk, managerial ownership, tax, capital structure.

COVID-19 Pandemic has brought several direct impacts in Indonesia to make every sector decrease especially in Capital Market since March 2020. COVID-19 is the main impact that affected to decrease the value of ICI in every sector on the stock exchange. However, there is a sector that seems capable to survive during the Pandemic, which is the consumer goods industry sector. One of the successful sectors coming from the consumer goods industry sector is the pharmacy business sector (INAF and KAEF). The research aims to analyze INAF and KAEF stocks during the Pandemic, whether both stocks can survive or not by using a various approach such as global economy, the impact of foreign and domestic policies, the effect of PSBB (Large-scale Social Restrictions), also the lockdown which being held in March-December. The method that is used is qualitative, as the data were collected from ISE (Indonesia Stock Exchange) and Yahoo Finance. The result of this research shows that INAF and KAEF stocks can survive and highly increase the stock price during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

This study aims to determine the effect of simultaneous and partial ownership structure and earnings management on firm value in the Consumer Goods Industry Sector Companies that are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014. The method used in this study is the census method. The population studied was 32 companies in the Consumer Goods Industry Sector that were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014. The data collected were secondary data. Analysis of the data in this study used path analysis using SPSS V. 24. The results showed that the ownership structure and earnings management, simultaneously, had a significant effect on the value of the company in the Consumer Goods Industry Sector Companies that were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014. The ownership structure, partially, has no significant effect on the value of the company in the Consumer Goods Industry Sector Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014. Earnings management, partially, has a significant effect on the firm value of the Consumer Goods Industry Sector Companies that are listed on the Exchange Indonesian Securities in 2014, and ownership structure does not significantly influence earnings management in the Consumer Goods Industry Sector Companies that are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014. Keywords: ownership structure, earnings management, company value

This research aims to discern the effect of financial ratios on the stock price of Consumer Goods Industry Sector Companies listed in Kompas 100 Index on 2013-2019 period, partially or simultaneously.  The financial ratios analyzed in this research are: Current Ratio (CR), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return on Equity (ROE) and Dividend Yield (DY). The research population is the Consumer Goods Industry Sector Companies listed in Kompas 100 Index on 2013-2019 period. There are 5 Consumer Goods Industry companies used as the research sample by applying the purposive sampling method. This research uses documentation as the collection data technique as well as a panel data as the data analysis technique. This research shows that NPM variable has a partially positive relationship on the stock price, ROE has a positive relationship on the stock price at a confidence level of 90 percent, while CR and DY have no effects on stock price. The CR, NPM, ROE and DY variables influence the stock price simultaneously. CR, NOM, ROE and DY variables can explain the stock price on the Consumer Goods Industry Sector companies listed in Kompas 100 Index at 98,38%.

Covid -19 pandemic that announced by the Indonesian government on March 2, 2020, may have an impact on the company's financial performance, marked by layoffs, decreased productivity, and decreased purchasing power of the people. This study aims to determine the financial performance of companies in the consumer goods industry sector in 2019 - 2020 (food and beverage sub-sector with pharmaceutical sub-sector) listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The financial performance referred to in this study is measured by Current Ratio/CR, Debt Ratio/DR, Total Asset Turnover/TATO, Return On Equity/ROE, and Price Earning/PE. This study found that the financial performance of companies in the consumer goods industry and the financial performance of companies in the food and beverage sub-sector as measured by CR, DR, TATO, and PE increased, but ROE decreased during the pandemic Covid-19. On the other hand, the financial performance of the pharmaceutical sub-sector companies as measured by DR, TATO, ROE, and PE increased, and CR decreased during the Covid-19 pandemic.

<p><em>This study uses quantitative research that aims to see whether tax aggressiveness and leverage have an effect on the disclosure of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) with profitability as variable moderation. This study was use a manufacturing company within sub-sector of consumer goods industry listed on the </em><em>“</em><em>Indonesia Stock Exchange. Samples were selected by purposive sampling and collected 16 companies of consumer goods industry sub-sectors during 2014-2018 research datas period. Testing the hypothesis in this  study using </em><em>“</em><em>Multiple Linear Regression Analysis with</em><em>”</em><em> a significance level of 5% (0.05). The results of this study indicates that;(1) Tax aggressiveness </em><em>“</em><em>has a significant effect on</em><em>”</em><em> CSR disclosure, (2) </em><em>“</em><em>Leverage does not have a significant effect on CSR disclosure</em><em>”</em><em>, (</em><em>“</em><em>3) Profitability measured using Return on Assets (ROA</em><em>”</em><em>) is able to strengthen Tax Aggressiveness and unable to strengthen leverage to influence CSR disclosure. Tax aggressiveness and leverage and profitability variables as moderating variables can explain the CSR disclosure variable by 52.1%.</em></p>

ABSTRACTInvestors generally will invest their fund in stocks that have high return with minimal risk in the capital market. In order to reduce level of risk then the stocks should be formed into portfolio. The purpose of this research is to analyze the risks & return of stocks of the first & the second liner of food & beverages companies that are listed in Indonesia stock exchange (IDX) from 2012 to 2014. A single index model is used for research method. The data observed based on historical data of the closing stock-price of food & beverages companies listed. Technique of taking sample uses purposive sampling. The sample used in this research is 12 (twelve) stocks of the food & beverages companies from 2012 to 2014 which are listed in Indonesia stock exchange (IDX).Data analysis using T-test (independent sample t-test) with significance level of 5%. The first hypothesis using Independent t-test shows that there is no significant return between first liner and second liner stocks. The second hypothesis using Independent t-test shows that there is no significant risk between the two as well.This research shows that investing in the second liner stocks are more profitable than investing in the first liner stocks because the return of the second liner stocks are higher than the first liners’ while the risks of the second liner stocks are lower than the first liners’.  Keywords : Single Index Model, First Liner Stock, Second Liner Stock

This study aims to determine the effect of profitability, size and growth of the company's capital structure in the consumer goods industry sector based on the pecking order theory and trade-off theory. This research was conducted using the procedure panel data for a sample of 26 consumer goods industry sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2009- 2013. The findings of this study is to support H1a, H2b and H3b. based on the results of the analysis of the profitability variable (measured ROE) there is a negative correlation significant at α = 5%, which means supporting the pecking order theory. The size variable (as measured by total assets) and growth (which was measured by the Market to Book Value) positively associated significant at α = 5% and 10%, which means supporting the trade-off theory. For the selection method of FEM and REM, researchers used a test in which the capital REM Test Hausmant be an option for the measurement of capital structure (DER, DAR and Working capital) while FEM selected for the measurement of capital structure (Leverage). This research was conducted to test the effect of CSR on financial performance and add environmental variables as intervening. This type of research is Explonatory research using financial data published on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The study was conducted on manufacturing companies in the consumer goods industry sector for three years, namely 2015, 2016, and 2017. From the number listed, they were selected according to the criteria determined to be used as research samples. The number of companies that met the criteria for further analysis was thirteen companies with observations over three years. The results of this study indicate that CSR significantly influences the company's financial performance, and environmental performance as an intervening variable significantly influences the company's financial performance.

This study aims to analyze the effect of current ratio (CR), debt to equity ratio (DER), and return on equity ratio (ROE) on dividend payout ratio (DPR) in the consumer goods industry sector listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange period of 2012-2017. The sample selection in this study using purposive sampling method and got 13 companies that match the criteria. From result of research got value of adjusted R-Square equal to 62.64%. It indicated that return on equity has a significant negative effect on dividend payout ratio with regression coefficient equal to -1.070932. However, the result of current ratio has insignificant negative effect on the dividend payout ratio with regression coefficient of -2.462612 and debt to equity ratio has insignificant positive effect on the dividend payout ratio with regression coefficient of 0.012540.
