An annual review of the seismicity in the territory of Belarus based on the data of two analog (operated in the first half-year) and seventeen digital stations is presented. A total of 80 events with Кd=4.6–8.4 were recorded all of them being confined to the southern part of the territory, the Soligorsk mining area included. The map of all the event epicenters for 2015 is given. The table of the distribution of the seismic events by their energy classes and seismic energy in months is presented. The maximum values of the seismic energy release fell in August, and the maximum number of the events was observed in July. The level of the seismic energy released in 2015 is the same as in 2014 but 2.18 times lower than its long-time average value for 1983–2014. The number of the events in 2015 is 1.4 times more than their number in 2014 and 1.86 times more than the Nср value for the previous 32 years. The distribution of the earthquakes in the depth intervals layers showed that the earthquake foci are mostly located in the upper 20 km part of the Earth’s crust. However, the foci of 47 earthquakes are located at depths above 10 km. The distribution of all the events in 2015 is represented in real-time. The quiet seismic periods and seismic activation periods were determined. The distribution of the seismic events in the hourly intervals showed the periods of the increase of the seismic events number. The maximum and minimum values N in the seismic event distribution by the days of the week were determined.

. The review of annual seismicity in the territory of Belarus based on the data of two analog and seventeen digital stations is presented. 57 events with Кd=4.6–8.8 are recorded, all of them are located in the southern part of the territory, including the Soligorsk mining area. The maximum seismic energy released in March, August, October and November. The maximum number of earthquakes was observed from July to August and from October to November. The N(K) andΣE functions in 2014 were compared with those within 1983–2013. The number of events in 2014 is 1.34 times more than its average value for previous 31 years. The level of the seismic energy released in 2014 is 2.43 times more than in 2013 and 2.05 times lower than its long-time average value. The distributionof earthquakes by depth intervals showed that the earthquake foci are mostly located in the upper 20 km part of the Earth’s crust. However, the foci of 47 earthquakes are located at depths below 10 km. A slope of the graph showing the recurrence of the events with representative energy classes Кd=6–8 in 2014 was calculated. Its modulus γ=|0.48| is lower than the value γ=|0.5| in 2013. The distribution of all the events in 2014 is represented in real time. Quiet seismic periods and seismic activation periods were determined. The distribution of the seismic events by the hourly intervals showed the periods of the daytime and nighttime increase of the seismic event number. The maximum and minimum values N in the seismic event distribution by the days of the week were determined. The seismicity analysis has shown that the seismic activity level in 2014 was higher than that in 2013, but lower than its long-time average value.

Learning quadratic functions that had been performed by the majority of vocational school and high school mathematics teacher in Kuala Tungkal is still using conventional learning media. The use of conventional learning media is experiencing a lot of obstacles, such as: a fairly long time in describing the graph function, especially when analyzing some quadratic function graphs with various characteristics. APOS is one of the constructivist learning theory which states that students learn through several stages, namely: action – process – object – schema. And to integrate into media APOS writer adapting ADDIE development model. The effectiveness of the use of media-based learning theory APOS seen from the student activity sheet can be concluded more increased activity of students in the learning process. Study of the test results, students were able to meet the completeness criteria stipulated minimum is 75. With an average value of learning outcomes, namely 87.14. It can be seen from the students' responses on a test group of small and large groups where it is concluded that researchers develop learning media can be categorized as good / interesting in the teaching and learning of mathematics.

ABSTRACTThe time evolution of the electron density and the optical emission intensity in response to a square wave modulated RF excitation of helium-silane mixtures has been studied and compared to that for the more conventional CW discharge. In addition, the films deposited from CW and modulated RF glows have-been compared on the basis of absorption coefficients and photoconductivities. Films deposited from modulated glows at substrate temperatures below 200°C have significantly smaller optical bandgaps than those deposited from comparable CW discharges. The bulk electron density in the modulated discharge undergoes a complex temporal variation and its time average value can be significantly larger than that in the CW glow despite the lower average power. A dissociative attachment process involving silane radicals, SiHn (n = 1 to 3), is identified as the most probable cause.

Although, a part of damage of mechanical structures by actual seismic events is caused by cumulative damage, their seismic design is generally carried out by using momentary force or stress, because force and stress are calculated easily. Therefore, damage indicating parameters that can evaluate cumulative damage is necessary, and authors have focused on energy as the parameter. The energy can evaluate fatigue failure because the energy is derived from an integral of a product of force and deformation. In our previous paper, vibration and loading experiments were conducted, and the energy necessary for fatigue failure was reported. However the processes to clarify the energy necessary for failure by fatigue experiments take a long time. The processes will be shortened if the energy is clarified by tensile tests. This paper deals with the energy necessary for tensile failure. In this paper, tensile tests were carried out, and energy necessary for tensile failure was derived. The tensile tests were conducted with various tensile speeds. As a result, more energy is needed when tensile speed is slow. This relationship is same as the relationship confirmed by vibration and loading experiments in our previous papers.

ABSTRACT We aimed in this work to study natural populations of copaiba (Copaifera multijuga Hayne) on the Monte Branco mountain at Porto Trombetas-PA, in order to support sustainable management and the exploitation of oleoresin from copaiba. We studied the population structure of copaiba on hillsides and valleys of the south face of Monte Branco, within Saracá Taquera National Forest, where bauxite ore was extracted in the biennium 2013-2014 by Mineração Rio do Norte (MRN). We produced a 100% forest inventory of the specie and of oleoresin extraction in order to quantify the potential production of the remaining area. The density of copaiba individuals with DBH > 30 cm was 0.33 individuals per hectare in the hillside and 0.25 individuals per hectare in the valley. Both environments presented a density of 0.28 individuals per hectare. The average copaiba oleoresin yield was 0.661±0.334 liters in the hillside and 0.765±0.280 liters in the valley. The average value of both environments together (hillside and valley) was 0.714±0.218 liters. From all individuals with DBH over 30 cm, 38 (58%) produced some amount of oleoresin, averaging 1.113±0.562 liters in the hillside, 1.329±0.448 liters in the valley and 1.190±0.355 liters in both environments together. The results show the need for planning the use of the surroundings of the study area in order to reach the required volume of copaiba to make feasible the sustainable management of oleoresin extraction in the region.

Phytoplankton plays an important role in primary productivity in marine environment. Various environmental changes in coastal area will impact the water quality and their phytoplankton compositions. The purpose of this study is to examine the abundance of phytoplankton from two different sites, i.e Tanah Merah (close to mining site) and Semujur Island (away from mining site) in Bangka Island. Phytoplankton and water sample were collected on June- August 2018. Water quality was measured using water quality checker, whereas the phytoplankton was identified under the microscope with a magnification of 100x. Non-parametric Kruskal test and T-test analysis was performed to determine the abundance, diversity, uniform, and dominance of phytoplankton between Sites, respectively. Statistical analyses showed the abundance of phytoplankton at Semujur Island was significantly higher than that at Tanah Merah (p = 0.003). In additions the diversity, uniform, and dominance were also significantly different between sites (all p <0.05). In Semujur Island, Diatoms (Thalassiothrix, Chaetoceros and Thalassionema) were more dominants than the Dinophyceae group. However, in Tanah Merah, the genera Ceratium belong to class Dinophyceae was more dominant than the class Bacillariophyceae. These results performed that the phytoplankton in Tanah Merah and Semujur Island was affected by environment, in this case the mining area. The water quality in Semujur Island (non-mining Area) might have good quality than in Tanah Merah (mining area). The average value of turbidity and Total Suspended Solid in Tanah Merah Waters causes low abundance of phytoplankton. It can be concluded that tin mining can disrupt the abundance and composition of phytoplankton as a primary producer of waters.

The purpose of this study is to analyze real-life data in order to characterize patients with RA and cardiovascular diseases that are treated with biological agents. Material and Methods: In a retrospective study, data from real clinical practice were analyzed in 195 patients with seropositive RA, which are being treated with biological agents. Results: In patients with existing CVD, significantly higher mean ESR values (23.95 vs. 19.31, p = 0.031) and CRP (6.41 vs. 3.36, p = 0.004) were detected over the period of the study period of treatment. In contrast to the laboratory parameters, mean values of clinical parameters of RA - TJC, SJC and VAS clinical sings did not show a significant difference in patients with and without CVD. The time average value of DAS28 (ESR) during the study period was significantly higher in patients with CVD (3.7 vs. 3.39, p = 0.002) compared to those without CVD. DAS28 (CRP) shows the same trend. In patients with CVD, the time average value of the follow-up indicator was 3.21, and in patients without CVD, 2.88 (p <0.001). Conclusion: The results of this study, in PA patients conducting treatment with biological agents in the real life, outside of the clinical study conditions, demonstrate that independently of treatment, patients with CVD continue to maintain higher background inflammation. An optimization of therapeutic behavior in real life is necessary to improve the long-term prognosis of these patients.
