In order to meet the requirements of rice field precision direct seeding in rows and hills, a spiral grooved seed metering device for rice field precision direct seeding in hills is designed. The Matlab software is used to study the movement trajectory of rice buds in the spiral groove during the seeding process. Based on the quadratic regression-orthogonal rotation combination design, and taking the working speed of the seeding wheel, the spiral groove length and the helix angle of the spiral groove as the test factors, as well as the qualified rate of hill diameters, the qualified rate of hill grains and the miss-seeding rate as the indicators, the seed metering performance is tested by JPS-12 metering device test bench. The test data are analyzed by using Design-Expert 6.0.10 software to obtain a mathematical model between the factors and indicators. The test results show that when the spiral groove rise angle is 71.0°, the spiral groove length is 10.8mm, and the working speed of the metering wheel is 23.2r/min, the qualified rate of hill diameter, qualified rate of hill grains and miss-seeding rate are 91.06%, 94.64% and 3.64% respectively. The seeding performance meets the agronomic requirements of rice field seeding.

BACKGROUND: Few studies have investigated the variations in body composition and performance in Japanese collegiate American-football players. OBJECTIVE: To clarify what characterizes competitors at the highest levels – in the top division or on the starting lineup – we compared players’ body compositions and performance test results. METHODS: This study included 172 players. Each player’s body composition and performance (one-repetition maximum bench press, one-repetition maximum back squat, and vertical jump height) were measured; power was estimated from vertical jump height and body weight. Players were compared according to status (starter vs. non-starter), position (skill vs. linemen), and division (1 vs. 2). Regression analysis was performed to determine characteristics for being a starter. RESULTS: Players in higher divisions and who were starters were stronger and had more power, greater body size, and better performance test results. Players in skill positions were relatively stronger than those in linemen positions. Vertical jump height was a significant predictor of being a starter in Division 1. CONCLUSION: Power and vertical jump may be a deciding factor for playing as a starter or in a higher division.

As a renewable energy source, wind energy has received more and more attention, and the wind power industry has also been advocated and developed by countries all over the world. In the production and use of wind turbines, the design and manufacturing technology of wind turbine bearings is very important. In order to ensure the reliable operation of the wind power main bearing after installation and realize the longest life of it, this paper designs a bearing test bench that can test the performance of the wind power main bearing. It can analyze the temperature, displacement, load, and moment of the key parts of the 5 MW wind power main shaft bearing. The solid modeling of the experimental platform was carried out using the 3D modeling software SolidWorks. Hydraulic loading system and test monitoring system are designed to realize the drive and control of the test bench. Through the established mathematical model, the central load of the hub is converted into the axial cylinder load and the radial cylinder load of the test bench to simulate the actual working conditions of the tested bearing. The test results show that the test bench meets various loading requirements and can reliably complete the task of testing wind power main bearings.

APFSDS-T-TP ammunition of home production for 120 mm gun of LEOPARD 2 tank, being on the inventory of the Polish Armed Forces, has not passed the requirements of NO-13-A513 Defence Standard at certification tests against the random vibrations occurring at its tactical transportation inside the tank. Performed tests have indicated that the fulfilment of Standard requirements can be achieved by upgrading the igniting system what also makes the projecting charge design of APFSDS-T-TP ammunition change. The paper describes the research-development work on the upgrading of the igniting system for the cartridges used in 120 mm gun of LEOPARD 2 tank. The designs of the existing and upgraded igniting systems are presented both with the designing changes of projecting charges and ammunition ballistic and performance test results.

Motor development is the result of changes caused by physical growth, muscle strengthening, and the ability to interact with the environment. There are two types of motor development, namely gross motor and fine motor. The best age for a child for motor development is 0 to 8 years. At the age of 4 to 6 years mostly of children's gross motor activities related to balance and coordination. Child’s development of gross motor can be achieved by stimulating using games. Hopscotch is type of game that implements balance and coordination skills that support the development of gross motor skills. In Indonesia, children aged 4 years to 6 years have started to enter the Early Childhood Education and Kindergarten level. When the child is at school, parents cannot provide motor stimulation and must wait for the child's motor development reports submitted by the teachers. In this study we implemented system to stimulate the development of gross motor balance and coordination in children aged 4 to 6 years using hopscotch game integrated with Internet of Things (IoT) technology. IoT provides the ability to read, record, and evaluate children's activities and publish their results online for parents to access. This system is evaluated based on the system's functionality and performance parameters. From the test results found that the functionality of the system runs 100% by the specified function. The system performance test results from the sensor readings are under 1 second and the accuracy of the assessment activity of the first test variation of the foot position in the middle of 68.75%, and the foot position at the edge of 81.25% with the program delay setting from the node to the IoT platform an average of 1 second.

This study evaluates the effectiveness of three different media in teaching a specific motor skill. Validated lessons utilizing three different media — motion/sound, slide/sound, and story boards — were used to teach basic manipulations of the M203 Grenade Launcher. Written and performance tests, derived directly from the instructional objectives, were used to evaluate the learning. As evaluated by the performance test, learners using motion film performed significantly better than those using either slides or workbooks, and required significantly less time. Written tests, however, failed to detect this difference. These results suggest that much previous research comparing media may have been inconclusive due to defects in experimental design, such as using a written test to measure motor skills taught by visual media.

Background : The Knee joint is a hinge joint with a change formed by the two condyls of the femur that are jointed with the superior surface of the tibial tube. Radiographic examination of the knee joint on AP weight bearing and lateral weight bearing projections is a good projection in revealing joint gaps in the knee joint. The constraints on this examination are when patients who have little difficulty standing on one leg when doing lateral projection of weight bearing. So that a knee joint examination tool is needed in the case of osteoarthrithis. Methods : The purpose of this study was to describe the design, study the function tests and performance tests of knee joint hearing aids in the case of osteoarthrithis. This research is a type of experimental research with the design of a one shoot case study. Data collection is obtained by a check list of results of functional tests and performance test tools. The data obtained was assessed by Guttman's scale and conclusions and suggestions were drawn. This study produced a design in the form of a knee joint examination tool. The tool is made of stainless steel pipes, on a pedestal made of wooden boards, foam and cloth. Based on the calculation of the check list using the Guttman scale.Result: The function test results were 100% and the performance test results were 96%. Until the knee joint examination tool in the case of osteoarthrithis is said to be feasible to use. Conclusion : This knee joint examination aid has a number of parts, a pedestal made of wood sheets, adjustable footrests, and a patient's padded arms. The auxiliary framework uses a 3 cm diameter stainless steel pipe with a thickness of 1 mm. Based on the functional tests in the Radiology Installation of Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto obtained results 100% for knee joint examination in osteoarthritis cases with AP weight bearing projections and lateral weight bearing. Based on performance tests which involved 5 respondents who were radiographers were said to be very appropriate with a percentage of 96% with an excess of ease in operation, reducing the movement of patients, and helping the radiographers to produce informative radiographs.
