This study aims to analyze the biophysical potential of the Kali Tahapan Telu Waterfall area. The research was conducted in August 2020 at Kali Tahapan Telu Waterfall, Kali Village, Pineleng District, North Sulawesi. This study uses a survey method for primary data collection, namely by conducting interviews with parties related to the management of this natural tourism area, as well as direct observation in the tourist area of Kali Tahapan Telu Waterfall and the surrounding environment on aspects of tourist attraction, accessibility, accommodation, and facilities. and tourism support infrastructure. Secondary data were obtained from existing references and agencies. Data analysis used in this study was the scoring technique. The results showed that this natural tourism area has biophysical potential which is the ability, strength of the biotic and physical environment that the area has which allows it to be developed into. The attraction for visitors to come and enjoy this tourist area is as follows. The tourist area of Kali Tahapan Telu Waterfall has 2 (two) types of fauna that are endemic to North Sulawesi and 4 (four) types of flora that characterize the North Sulawesi area. In addition, there are several good views towards the outside of the tourist attraction and an attractive good view between parts of the tourist attraction. Based on the results of the biophysical potential analysis using the scoring technique, it was found that the results of the biophysical potential of Kali Tahapan Telu Waterfall were in the medium category. The development of biophysical potential can be done by planting several types of endemic plants in and around tourist areas to increase attractiveness by increasing the diversity of natural resources that can be enjoyed, especially endemic species that have characteristics in tourist areas while carrying out conservation efforts, as well as being a vehicle for education about sources. local power. In addition, the development of biophysical potential can also be done by adding infrastructure in the form of viewing posts or gazebo with local architectural, as well as attractive landscape designs to add beauty and support the potential view. Regarding the increase in the use value of agricultural land indirectly, the existence of community agricultural land around the area planted with plants that have regional characteristics of North Sulawesi, namely cloves, coconut, palm and nutmeg are utilized and supported by landscape designs in natural tourism areas that frame and strengthen the scenery so that it adds to tourist attraction. In addition, the increase in the use value of agricultural land is directly and simultaneously in line with community empowerment, namely the processing of parts of community agricultural land products that are not traded to be developed into souvenirs which have not been provided until now. Community empowerment is also carried out by involving the surrounding community in increasing tourist attractions, namely by tourist attractions, especially regional cultural attractions.

The Amazon has a great biodiversity, however in this regions some locations still without no research, showing the need for studies in this localities. The lack of information about the diversity of frogs and the speed of change in the landscape that have been taking place on the planet, demonstrates the urgent need to preserve the remaining resources. In this adverse scenario, live frogs that are sensitive to changes in natural forest areas, and are recognized as Bioindicator of environmental integrity. The present study had scoped to do a survey of the anuran species in a country area, near to the city of Porto Velho (RO). This land, is formed by two separate areas, one classified as secondary forests and the other as pasture area. The sampling was carried out from January to may 2012, using tools and techniques for catch in the night delimited by time, pitfall traps and frogs occasional meetings Were captured 63 specimens of Anurans, distributed in six families, where the richest in species were the Leptodactylidae (n = 6), Hylidae (n = 5), Bufonidae (n = 4), Microhylidae (n = 2), Brachycephalidae (n = 2) and Aromobatidae (n = 2), totaling 21 species identified. The most abundant species were the Leptodactylus chaquensis (n = 12) and Leptodactylus andreae (n = 8). The pasture area exhibited the greatest number of individuals captured with 65.07% of all frogs collected.

The main aim of this paper was to assess the factors of farmland abandonment in selected metropolitan areas in Poland. The research used secondary research material, including data from the Main Statistical Office (Polish GUS) and academic literature. Analyses were conducted by means of the method of regression trees, among other things. The research found out that nearly 16% of farmland in Polish metropolitan areas had been abandoned. The factor that most affected set-aside was the share of small farms with an area of less than 5 ha of agricultural land. In communes with the majority of small farms, almost 30% of agricultural land was set aside. Entrepreneurship indicator, population density and net migration were also significant in explaining the phenomenon discussed in the paper. High values of these measures correlated with more advanced processes of farmland abandonment.

Wild plants are plants whose presence on agricultural land can reduce crop yields. Losses due to wild plants to cultivated plants vary depending on the type of plant cultivated, climate, species of wild plants and technical cultivation applied. This study aims to determine the diversity of wild plants in the land of maize (Zea mays L.) in Bung-bungan Village Bluto District Sumenep Regency. This method uses a descriptive exploratory method, for each wild plant found in ± 3600 m2 of corn land. Sampling of wild plants using a 4x4 m plot method. The measured data includes the number of species and the number of individuals calculating important values and diversity indices. The results of the study showed that the Shannon-Wienner Diversity Index analysis of the highest value in maize plants in plantations was found in land II, which was 2.678 indicating moderate diversity, categorized as moderate because there were not too many wild plants on maize.  Keywords: Corn, diversity, wild plants,  ABSTRAK Tumbuhan liar merupakan tumbuhan yang kehadirannya pada lahan pertanian dapat menurunkan hasil tanaman. AbstractThe objects of this study were to determine whether the population density of Hyphantria cunea Drury is dependent on land use, vegetation pattern, and plant species; and to compare the extensive methods designed for this work with more intensive, single-plot designs. In two separate gradations, covering a period of 12 years, density was positively correlated with agricultural land use, open rather than closed patterns of vegetation, and the occurrence of only a few of the principal host species. The analysis showed how these variables affected density both within and between different climatic areas, and suggested how cultural methods might be used in population management.Extensive designs permit the development and testing of holistic models designed to explain both spatial and temporal differences in population density, and provide the replication required for the latter purpose. It is important to model spatial differences in density because such variables as vegetation pattern and composition are sometimes subject to cultural modification. Very intensive designs, based on sampling only a few trees at one point, do not permit the development of complete models and, because of plant host and dispersal phenomena affecting insects and their parasites, produce data that may be unreliable even for sub-models, such as those dealing with host–parasite interactions.

This research aimed to analyze the revenue optimization of farmer family with ratio of the most ideal farm scale in the integration of Pasundan cattle and paddy farm, and to analyze the most leveraging production factor towards the family revenue. The respondents were 94 farmers who had integrated farming between cattle and paddy. This research used survey method in four regions purposively based on Pasundan cattle centre. Data were analyzed with linear programming and production function of Cobb Douglass. The results were: (1) max Z = -(4,584,841x1+1574260 (x2+x3)) + (6,000,000jx1+4000000 (j x2 +j x3 )); this function consist of constraints: labour, transfer products between cattle and paddy farm, transfer fertilizer, capital of paddy farming in planting season-I and season-II. (2) Yintegration = 15,721,319.75 – 72.541 land – 1.317 fertilizer + 4.667 seeds + 487765.94 farminglabour + 6339170.199 cattlevalue – 935.559 feed + 162618.999 cattlelabour. There were some conclusions: First, the integration of Pasundan cattle and paddy farming produced the optimum family revenue/year, with ratio of 6.02 animal unit and 0.5 ha of paddy farming; Second, the production factor of agricultural land, labour, seeds, feed and capital (cattle) were explained (R2=87.66%) toward the integration revenue; Third, the variable which has the contribution to leverage the revenue was the capital of cattle (81.52%).
