Introduction: The prevalence of osteoarthritis increases with age with functional impairment. With Closed Kinetic Chain Exercise (CKCE) patients are able to increase movement in the knee area. Objective: To provide an overview of various evidence from previous studies regarding the effectiveness of Closed Kinetic Chain Exercise in improving functional ability in patients with knee osteoarthritis. Methods: Conducted a literature review by searching through electronic databases namely Garuda, Pubmed, and Google Scholar, and obtained 5 relevant research articles from 2016-2021 based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results: After being given closed kinetic chain exercise, it was found that there was a decrease in complaints such as pain and an increase in the strength of functional movement in patients with knee osteoarthritis. Conclusion: closed kinetic chain exercise is effective in improving functional ability in patients with knee osteoarthritis

Menarche is the first experience of menstruation would cause anxiety among teenagers, fear, discomfort, and affect the quality of life of teenage. This condition was caused by the taboo assumption to discuss menstruation with family and their environment. Therefore, this study was conducted to identify urban teenagers' readiness toward menarche. This study was conducted with the process of searching, collecting and analyzing articles. The search sources used were Cinahl, Scopus, Cochrane, Pubmed, and Cengage databases. The keywords used were menarche, readiness, and urban teenagers. The inclusion criteria used were 2013 - 2018 research articles, full text, and English articles. The exclusion criteria used was non-urban teenagers. According to the keyword was found 124 articles. After being selected based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 7 articles were analyzed. The result showed urban teenagers' readiness consisted of internal and external readiness. Internal readiness consists of age and knowledge. Internal readiness can affect self-acceptance, maturity of mind, and views on the stages of growth and development that are being faced. External readiness consists of social support. Social support for urban teenagers is useful to get information and attention when menarche. External readiness for urban teenagers was already good but lack of internal readiness. Abstract Knee Osteoarthritis is characterized by pain, deformity, and limitation of movement. To reduce pain in patients with knee osteoarthritis, interventions can be given, one of which is ultrasound with continuous current.. Determine the description of pain in knee osteoarthritis after intervention with ultrasound modality. PICO writing method is used as the selection of articles in this literature review research. This article was obtained from PubMed and NCBI with predetermined inclusion and exclusion criteria. The measuring instrument used in the literature review is the visual analogue scale (VAS). The results of the literature review analysis in these five articles showed that pain reduction before the procedure were 6.79 and after the procedure were 3.43 with a difference of 3.36. From the results of the literature review of these five articles, it shows that there is a change in the depiction of pain in knee osteoarthritis patients after being given ultrasound intervention. Keywords: Knee Osteoarthritis; Visual Analogue Scale (VAS), Ultrasound Abstrak Osteortritis lutut ditandai dengan nyeri, deformitas, dan hambatan gerak. Background : The prevalence of osteoarthritis in Indonesia increases with age. The highest prevalence is at age <75 years. The incidence of osteoarthritis in Indonesia from 1990 to 2010 has increased. Per 100,000 men and women reach their peak at the 80 years old. Women reached a peak at 1,327.4 compared to men who were only 907.7. Osteoarthritis of the knee has problems such as pain, decreased ROM, edema, and decreased muscle strength, to overcome the problems  in the case of knee osteoarthritis can be given physiotherapy treatment such as Graston Technique and Closed Kinetic Chain Exercise. Objective : The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of graston technique and closed kinetic chain exercise on knee dextra osteoarthritis to overcome body and function. Results : After being given physiotherapy management with a combination of graston technique and closed kinetic chain exercise in patients with knee osteoarthritis, there was a decrease in pain so that the increase in functional ability is known from the reduction of the diagram from the results of filling the WOMAC index form pre treatment with the score being post treatment in six meetings. Conclusion : The combination of graston technique and closed kinetic chain exercise has effect on reducing pain so that it can improve the functional abilities of patients with knee osteoarthritis.
