This article aims in selection and evaluation of a Seventh Party Logistic provider (7PL) which integrates all the functions of a company globally. The procedure for selection is based on the criteria’s and their relative priority weights. Analytical Network Process (ANP) is used in complex problems where Multi-criteria decision making is involved. After identification of criteria using ANP final selection is done. This paper is informatory to researchers to understand and apply ANP to MCDM problems.

The selection of a location among alternative locations is a multi criteria decision-making problem including both quantitative and qualitative criteria. In this paper, we describe the research and development of hybrid MCDM methods for greenhouse locating. Selection of the most appropriate location for investor is an important problem which requires assessment and analysis of several factors. The paper clarifies the structure of important criteria in greenhouse locating. The six factors identified were: labor, government, environment, physical condition, regional economy and raw materials. In this research, analysis network process (ANP) is applied to find the relative weights among the criteria and to emphasize the interdependent relationships, thus increasing the accuracy of our results COPRAS-G method is applied to rank for five regions in Amol city, in Iran. This article can be a guideline for investors to select the best location for greenhouses.

Analytical Network process (ANP), is applied here as a decision making technique for the selection of appropriate robots for industrial and automation applications. The core motivation of applying, in particular, the ANP technique is that robot selection is dependent upon a number of attributes and criteria which have strong influences/interdependencies upon each other. The ANP, as a multiple attribute decision making (MADM) technique for robot selection, captures the effects of these cross hierarchical dependencies, and appropriately maps the influences within the clusters and between the various alternatives. Simultaneously, the technique does not include the assumption of independence of higher-level elements from lower level elements and about the independence of the elements within a level. First, a set of attributes, which influence the selection of the robots, are identified. Next, using the various steps of ANP, viz., pair wise comparisons matrices and priority vectors determination and the development of the super-matrix the global weights of the attributes with respect to other attributes are determined. The final alternatives are then rated as per the graduated weights of the respective attributes. Thus, a comprehensive solution towards selection of robots enabling the decision-makers to suitably understand the complex relationships of the relevant qualitative and quantitative attributes in the decision-making is obtained. The technique is also illustrated using detailed analysis for a specific case of decision making between three robot suppliers and selection of appropriate robot from alternatives. In order to get more insight into relationships among various attributes and their effect on decision makers, the sensitivity analysis of the results with respect to determinant level attributes is carried out.

Today, IS supplier selection is one of the most critical steps in the outsourcing process; the success of outsourcing is highly dependent on the selection of IS suppliers. This paper proposes a new hybrid fuzzy multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) model, which uses decision-making trial and evaluation laboratory (DEMATEL) technique, analytic network process (ANP), and Vlse Kriterijumska Optimizacija I Kompromisno Resenje(VIKOR) to evaluate four potential suppliers using seven factors and five decision makers using a realistic case study. the results showed that Service support is importance for outsourcing. The proposed model can help practitioners improve their decision making process.

: Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) helps decision makers (DMs) solve highly complex problems. Accordingly, MCDM has been widely used by DMs from various fields as an effective and reliable tool for solving various problems, such as in site and supplier selection, ranking and assessment. This work presents an in-depth survey of past and recent MCDM techniques cited in the literature. These techniques are mainly categorised into pairwise comparison, outranking and distance-based approaches. Some well-known MCDM methods include the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), Analytical Network Process (ANP), Elimination et Choix Traduisant la Realité (ELECTRE), Preference Ranking Organization METHod for Enrichment of Evaluations (PROMETHEE), Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) and VIseKriterijumska Optimizacija I Kompromisno Resenje (VIKOR). Each of these methods is unique and has been used in a vast field of interest to support DMs in solving complex problems. For a complete survey, discussions related to previous issues and challenges and the current implementation of MCDM are also presented.

The proposed FANP framework is a method for enhancing the interaction between customers and marketers (i.e., involved stakeholders) and thus for reducing the challenges of big data. The presented implementation takes realities' fuzziness into account to manage the constant interaction and continuous development of communication between marketers and customers on the Web. Using this FANP framework, the marketers are able to increasingly meet the varying requirements of their customers. To improve the understanding of the implementation, advanced visualization methods (e.g., wireframes) are used.

With the development of urbanization, people’s living standards have improved. Simultaneously, the growing aggravation of resource shortages and environmental pollution have also gradually attracted widespread attention. Low-carbon energy planning can effectively reduce dependence on fossil resources and carbon emissions to the atmosphere, as well as improve the utilization of resources. Therefore, the formulation and evaluation of low-carbon energy planning have become the focus of attention for related colleges and institutions. This paper puts forward a hybrid multi-criteria decision making(MCDM) method combining decision making trial and evaluation laboratory(DEMATEL), analytical network process(ANP), and VIKOR to obtain the weight of each criterion and evaluate each alternative about low-carbon energy planning for building. A hierarchy structure of criteria involving cost, safety, reliability, and environment protection is built. Afterwards, a case of four alternatives is applied for testifying this methodology. Lastly, a comparison with prior methodologies serves as proof of the raised ranking. The presentation has proved that this methodology offers a more precise and effective foundation for decisions about low-carbon energy planning evaluation.

In manufacturing industry selection of right supplier (s) is one of the challenging activities. Supplier selection is the method of determining the appropriate suppliers to provide the right quality of products, at the right quantities, at the right price in the right time. During the last ten years based on the changes in the business sector, Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) has been one of the fastest growing areas. By choosing the best supplier, the companies can increase their productivity and also competitive advantage. In the earlier period, several methods have been proposed to solve the supplier selection problem, such as the linear weighting methods, the analytic network process, total cost approaches and mathematical programming techniques. Although the linear programming methods are simple, they are not accurate and more variations exist. So the latest multi-criteria decision making tools such as Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), Fuzzy Logic (FL) and Artificial Neural Network (ANN) are deeply studied. While selecting the best supplier, many criteria are involved. The criteria may be different for different approach. The decision makers always express their preferences on alternatives or on the attributes of supplier which can be used to help rank the supplier and choose the enviable one. In this article, application of fuzzy logic and AHP are discussed with case-studies and also presented the discussion about implementation of ANN for supplier selection.
