scholarly journals Electre Method in Selection of a Seventh Party Logistics Provider (7pl)

The main aim of this paper is to evaluate and select a Seventh Party logistic service provider as a Multi criteria Decision Making Problem using Electre Method. This method allows in outranking and choosing a promising 7PL among the alternatives by consider various parameters. Evaluation and selection procedure is discussed in detail. Electre method is often used for ranking among alternatives.

All colleges each year organize the selection of new admissions. Acceptance of prospective students in universities as education providers is done by selecting prospective students based on achievement in school and college entrance selection. To select the best student candidates based on predetermined criteria, then use Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) or commonly called decision support system. One method in MCDM is the Elimination Et Choix Traduisant la Reality (ELECTRE). The ELECTRE method is the best method of action selection. The ELECTRE method to obtain the best alternative by eliminating alternative that do not fit the criteria and can be applied to the decision SNMPTN invitation path.

The selection of a location among alternative locations is a multi criteria decision-making problem including both quantitative and qualitative criteria. In this paper, we describe the research and development of hybrid MCDM methods for greenhouse locating. Selection of the most appropriate location for investor is an important problem which requires assessment and analysis of several factors. The paper clarifies the structure of important criteria in greenhouse locating. The six factors identified were: labor, government, environment, physical condition, regional economy and raw materials. In this research, analysis network process (ANP) is applied to find the relative weights among the criteria and to emphasize the interdependent relationships, thus increasing the accuracy of our results COPRAS-G method is applied to rank for five regions in Amol city, in Iran. This article can be a guideline for investors to select the best location for greenhouses.

In the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, social media is very influential in marketing company products, therefore companies interested in using social media need the role of content creators and employees. This is because the selection of prospective employees for content creators is still manual, and the selection of employees who are still related to family leads to an objective selection. Information technology and decision support systems need to be used as a tool to determine the selection of quality content creation staff using the WASPAS method, a combination of the WSM and WPM methods. By assigning weights to each criterion and then conducting a ranking evaluation process, this method can be used to solve the "multi-criteria decision making" problem. The result of this research is to find content creators who meet the standards of the WASPAS analysis method.

Aims & Background: Cloud Computing (CC) has received great attention from the scholarly researchers and IT companies. CC is a standard that offers services through the Internet. The standard has been manipulated by existing skills (such as collect, peer-to-peer and grid computing) and currently accepted by approximately all major associations. Various associations like as Microsoft and Facebook have revealed momentous investments in CC and currently offer services with top levels of reliability. The well-organized and precise evaluation of cloud-based communication network is an essential step in assurance both the business constancy and the continuous open services. Objectives & Methods: To select and rank the CC service providers, we introduce an Improved Score Function (ISF) based Multi-Criteria Decision-Making (MCDM) approach. The proposed approach is developed to solve the MCDM problems with partly unknown weight. To do this, the criteria preferences are given in terms of Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets (IFSs). Numerical example is illustrated to show the effectiveness of the proposed approach over the previous ones. Results: A decision making problem of cloud computing service provider has been considered for signifying the developed technique and finishes with the outcomes coincide with the already developed methods which confirms the solidity of the developed method. Conclusion: For future, we plan to implement the proposed technique on various decision making problems, clustering and multi-objective problems. Also, we plan to extend our method under different uncertain atmosphere by using other MCDM methods.

Multi-criteria decision-making methods (MCDM) have accelerated in recent years. Many authors have made remarkable manipulation of the uncertainty involved in MCDM problems as a constant to make the most appropriate decision among the alternatives proposed. For this reason, fuzzy logic has been integrated into the MCDM, achieving new hybrid methodologies. These have managed to increase decision-making capacity, allowing us to manipulate nonfuzzy (quantitative) and fuzzy (qualitative) information. The main of this paper presents the comparative analysis of the Pythagorean Fuzzy CODAS method in order to examine the advantages and differences in comparison to MOORA Pythagorean Fuzzy Set method. The analysis, in this sense, aims to present a new scenario for the selection of the best decision-making problem, taking its advantages and thus achieve a greater benefit in real problems applications. An illustrative case will be presented with the MOORA-PFS methodology, to see the results obtained with Pythagorean Fuzzy CODAS. Besides, this comparative study to academics to choose more operative methods for solve MCDM problems.

Dimensional analysis under linguistic Pythagorean fuzzy set (DA-LPFS) is a technique to handle qualitative (intangible) as well as the interactions between criteria, by combining dimensional analysis (DA) and Pythagorean fuzzy set (PFS) with linguistic variables. In this paper, a novel DA method is proposed for LPFSs based in a PFS extension, in order to consider the mutual relationship among criteria and handle qualitative (fuzzy) and quantitative (crisp) information usually involved in Multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) problems. Finally, DA-LPFS is applied to handle a case concerning the selection of CNC router to illustrate the applicability of the method.
