scholarly journals A Complete Power Demand Distribution using Renewable Electricity Generation System for India by Incorporating Solar, Wind, Thermal and Biomass Energy Resources

In India the electricity demand is growing rapidly day by day due to various increasing residential, official and organizational buildings which requires more power. Electricity generation system is dominated by a hybrid renewable energy resources like wind and solar, approximately 35% from 2007 to till now, still power shutdown is applied compulsory by the Indian Government. In order to improve the amount of power generation to 100% with increased thermal, fossil-fueled, and bio-gas power generation is converted into complete solar, wind and thermal including peaking options. In order to fulfil the demand, the wind capacity is increased from 35% into 100% by incorporating solar and thermal. Incorporating various energy systems into stand alone power grid, the highest power demand can be fulfilled. This paper applied an application for mixing various energy resource for increasing the power generation and production.

Electrical power generation by means of renewable energy resources are more common now a days. In this method we used biomass energy to generate electrical power. We used a renewable energy resource of several reasons. Some of Reasons are increasing the usage of power, available resources are not satisfying the demand, urbanization. Biomass is a greenhouse gas. It does not cause any harmfull effects to the environment. On decomposing biomass we get electricity. The method we used is pyrolysis.

The Energy requirement increases day by day as per more electronic and electrical equipment are used in today’s life at home. But there is the imbalance in between due to demand of electricity generation. As there is the shortage of nonrenewable energy resources, so this is the time to get switch towards the renewable energy resources like solar, wind, tidal, biogas etc. This project is based on a Solar Rooftop Generation system using the Blynk and AC mains with Relay modul & Arduino controller. This proposed of uses of the Solar cell, inverter, smart energy meters and Arduino controller & Blynk. The main advantage of system is the to increase the energy efficiency in its used and supply for domestic purpose and also to saves the money and to show the result in accurate manner and data regarding its used and its energy generation.

<p>Since conventional energy resources are major source of CO2 emission, over reliance on fossil fuels has raised questions on environmental sustainability. On way to address these multi-faceted issues of conventional energy sources, the sustainability of energy and environment is through the green economy approach. As such, this paper aims to discuss the concept of green economy in relation with renewable energy. The interdependence of green economy and environmental quality as well as the compatibility of green economy approach with the notion of sustainable development are demonstrated in the paper. Green economy approach fulfils the methodological gaps that exist in the growth models. It is believed that the best economic tool to attain sustainable development goals is by integrating social, economic and environmental elements. Furthermore, energy is believed to be a significant player in determining the greenness of the economy and sustainability as it has economic and environmental value. In addition, this study illustrates the significance of biomass energy resource and CO2 emissions from fossil fuel combustion. The illustration framework justifies that biomass is the determinant renewable energy source to be a proxy for renewable energy resources. Similarly, it justifies that CO2 emission of energy sector is considerably significant to represent the CO2 emissions of the atmosphere.</p>

This paper addressed assessing feasibility of hybrid use of ocean renewable energy, such as wave and wind energy around Japanese coast. At first, wave and wind energy theoretical potentials were calculated and, in the second step, correlation coefficient between wave and wind energy was computed around Japanese coast. Sea area suitable for hybrid use of ocean renewable energy resources is supposed to have high potential for some types of energy resources. Furthermore, correlation of power generation between wave and wind energy resources should be low because one energy resource needs to complement another one for stabilizing power generation. Based on the assumptions, feasibility of wind and wave energy was evaluated on some sea areas where R&D project are ongoing.

Solar energy and wind energy are the two most viable renewable energy resources in the world. This paper presents a control strategy for wind & solar hybrid power generating systems. If the power generation sources produce more energy than the one required by the loads, the surplus energy can be used either to charge the battery or to provide a dump load (electric heater or electrolysis-hydrogen). If the amount of energy demanded by the loads is higher than the one produced by the power generation sources, the control strategy determines the battery will release energy to cover the load requirements until the battery is fully discharged. This paper explains the scheme developed and shows the control flowchart of hybrid power generation system.

The paper dwells on the analysis of electricity balance of Georgia in the years of 2005-2017 in accordance with the parameters such as electricity generation-consumption and exports-imports. Significant attention was paid to the structural development of electricity generation and consumption. The paper also addresses the issues of exports imports with neighboring countries. Electricity exports and imports in Georgia is characterized by changing dynamics. Over the past 17 years, imports have grown by 39,3%. It has been highlighted that the electricity balance in the years of 2016-2017 differs substantially from the electricity balance of previous years that is due to the operation of wind power plant, which just in 2017 generated 87,8 million kWh, representing 1% of generated electricity. The paper highlights that the level of electric intensity of production in Georgia is still high, the reduction of which is considerable room for improvement in the electricity balance; there is need for development of renewable energy resources (hydro, solar, wind), placing greater reliance on advanced technologies in the field of electricity consumption and so on.

Currently, the forest biomass energy development is at an initial stage and the estimation method for the forest biomass energy resource reserve is to be unified and refined although there is a great value and potential in the development and utilization of forest biomass energy in China. Based on the existing studies, the present paper analyzes the origins and types of forest biomass energy resources in the perspective of sustainable forestry management, constructs the estimation model using a bottom-up approach, and estimates the total existing forest biomass energy resource reserve in China based on the data of the 7th Forest Resource Survey. The estimation method and the calculation results provide the important theoretical ground for promoting the rational development of forest biomass energy in China.

The significant offshore wind energy potential of Oregon faces several challenges, including a power grid which was not developed for the purpose of transmitting energy from the ocean. The grid impacts of the energy resource are considered through the lenses of (i) resource complementarity with Variable Renewable Energy resources; (ii) correlations with load profiles from the four balancing authorities with territory in Oregon; and (iii) spatial value to regional and coastal grids as represented through a production cost model of the Western Interconnection. The capacity implications of the interactions between offshore wind and the historical east-to-west power flows of the region are discussed. The existing system is shown to accommodate more than two gigawatts of offshore wind interconnections with minimal curtailment. Through three gigawatts of interconnection, transmission flows indicate a reduction of coastal and statewide energy imports as well as minimal statewide energy exports.

AbstractBiomass is one of the most abundant renewable energy resources on the earth, which is also considered as one of the most promising alternatives to traditional fuel energy. In recent years, microbial fuel cell (MFC) which can directly convert the chemical energy from organic compounds into electric energy has been developed. By using MFC, biomass energy could be directly harvested with the form of electricity, the most convenient, wide-spread, and clean energy. Therefore, MFC was considered as another promising way to harness the sustainable energies in biomass and added new dimension to the biomass energy industry. In this review, the pretreatment methods for biomass towards electricity harvesting with MFC, and the microorganisms utilized in biomass-fueled MFC were summarized. Further, strategies for improving the performance of biomass-fueled MFC as well as future perspectives were highlighted.
