Pulp and periacal disease is happening in Indonesia. This is because knowledge and people awarness to take care their dental health is in low level, so that a few of people in Indonesia do not know types, symptoms, and the solution, how to resolve the problem. Altough pulp and periacal disease have a bad impact like the patient's quality of life. Besides the cost of expensive dental care and have an impact on a person's overall health, such as can cause catastrophic diseases such as stroke, heart desease, and kidney. Based on these conditions, very important to make a web-based expert system to diagnose this problem with forward chaining methode. The expert system is created using  Dreamweaver C56, PHP, CSS, and MySQL. Through this system application, people will find out the information and get consultations about pulp and periapical disease easily and quickly, so that it can be dealt with quickly and correctly.

Abstract Background: Disease burden created by periodontal disease has been recognized as a global challenge. The burden of medical expenses is expected to increase continuously, parallel to the growth of the elderly population. Periodontal disease causes tooth loss if not treated early, and advanced periodontitis can cause a decline in chewing ability and word pronunciation as well as aesthetic function. These results diminish the health-related quality of life (QOL) for various populations, particularly the elderly, adults, pregnant women, and workers. Thus, not only is early detection and management of the disease necessary, but also a systematic strategy for the prevention of periodontal diseaseMethods: Adults 19 years of age or older diagnosed with chronic gingivitis (K05.1) or chronic periodontitis (K05.3) under the ICD-10 codes were selected to participate in the study. Among the patients visiting the dental outpatient department, the study participants were chosen for our sample. A total of 20 participants were informed of the purpose of the study and gave consent to participate in in-depth interviews.Results: The analysis results were summarized into the four upper categories of ‘Interfering Element for Dental Care,’ ‘Declined Quality of Life caused by Dental Disease,’ ‘Satisfaction Elements after Treatment of Dental Disease,’ ‘Improvements for Voluntary Dental Care.’ The treatment of periodontal disease has improved the health-related quality of life and enabled the participants to have positive health behaviors for dental care. Furthermore, they recognized the severity of periodontal disease and the importance of dental examinations. It enabled them to be aware of the need of societal effort for dental care awareness.Conclusions: This study was an in-depth examination of the health-related QOL of periodontal patients through qualitative research methodology. The experiences of periodontal disease identified by this study can not only help to assess the adequacy of the current dental health-related QOL assessment tools but also recognize unmet needs regarding periodontal disease and, ultimately, to raise the awareness of periodontal disease among the general public. Based on this research, we expect that research on health-related QOL on periodontal disease would expand and revitalize the dental health system and practices.

AbstrakTuberkulosis paru merupakan salah satu penyakit menular kronis. Di Indonesia penyakit ini termasuk satu prioritas nasional untuk program pengendalian penyakit karena berdampak luas terhadap kualitas hidup dan ekonomi, serta sering mengakibatkan kematian. Untuk itu, dalam penelitian ini akan dilakukan analisa terhadap penyakit tb paru menggunakan logika fuzzy (fuzzy logic). Dalam penelitian ini informasi tentang tb_paru didapat dari para pakar dengan melakukan wawancara dengan pakar. Berdasarkan uraian diatas maka dibuat sebuah aplikasi sistem pakar untuk mendiagnosa tb_paru menggunakan fuzzy logic. Aplikasi sistem pakar berbasis web untuk mendiagnosa penyakit tb paru merupakan kebutuhan dari asisten dokter dan masyarakat umum. Oleh karena itu agar mendapatkan nilai informasi yang tepat dan cepat aplikasi sistem pakar ini akan dalam bentuk website. Dari 7 gejala yang ditimbulkan oleh penyakit tb paru ini dalam perhitungan fuzzy logic di dapat sebanyak 128 rule dan untuk perhitungan persentase keakuratannya sendiri sebesar 70,33%. The eye is one of the five senses that has a very important role in human life, namely as the organ of vision. If there is interference with the eye or there is a disease, it is very influential on human vision. Its mean that we can conclude that eye is very important in our lie and must be keep for our body.  The purpose of this research to planning and develop the diagnose of expert system about diagnosing of diseases in the eye which include disease information about symptoms or the solution and have role to replace and imitate the process of the reason from an expert in solve the specification problem. the method used for reasoning is forward chaining method. The result of this research is expert system of diagnosing eyes diseases in humans which computerized who can be used for giving information and have benefit in diagnosing disease.

Technological advancements, increasing various aspects of life in the modern era have changed the style and pattern of people's lives. Unhealthy lifestyles are clearly seen in big cities, seen from food that can be found in every fast food restaurant or fast food. If the diet is not controlled, a person will be more susceptible to diseases that are difficult to cure, namely cholesterol. In this study the authors aim to design an expert system application that is used to diagnose cholesterol based and web- based cholesterol diseases based on the symptoms of the disease felt by patients who become a decision in the form of a level of confidence and the solution by using the forward chaining method to get forward reasoning and calculate the value of trust of the symptoms chosen by the patient.

The aim of this study was to establish clinical significance of oral inflammatory diseases in ischaemic stroke (IS), how aware doctors and nurses are of this problem, and the safety and possibility of performing dental hygiene in patients with acute IS. Materials and methods. We examined 100 patients who had suffered an ischaemic stroke in the internal carotid artery territory within 6 to 48 hours. The efficacy of dental hygiene and the risk of developing chronic oral sepsis were evaluated using the Patient Hygiene Performance Index (PHP) and Chronic Oral Sepsis Risk index (COSR). Quality of life was assessed using the short version of the Oral Health Impact Profile (OHIP-14). The sociological study included 100 patients with ischaemic stroke, 38 nurses, and 18 neurologists. Results. The severity of IS at study inclusion was 8 (3; 15) points on the NIHSS, while the Barthel Index score was 70 (45; 90) points. The modified Rankin Scale score was 13 points. The PHP index was 2.28 0.05 and the COSR index was 20.13 0.50. The OHIP-14 results (a total score of 28.1 6.8 points) also indicated unsatisfactory quality of dental health. The results of sociological studies revealed low level of awareness regarding dental care during acute IS among doctors. After professional oral care, treatment of oral inflammatory diseases, and removal of significantly damaged teeth, patients with IS had a decrease in the PHP index to 1.17 0.05 and the COSR index to 7.36 0.50, which corresponds to a satisfactory level of dental hygiene by the end of the acute stroke period. The impact of dental health on quality of life parameters as measured by the OHIP-14 scale (22.4 7.2 points) was satisfactory. Conclusion. The most important aspect of early dental care in patients with IS is increasing the quality of oral health.

Conclusions: This study was an in-depth examination of the health-related QOL of periodontal patients through a qualitative research methodology. We expect that this study will expand research on health-related QOL due to periodontal disease and revitalize the dental health system and practices.

This study aims to design and implement an expert system application to provide minimum computer hardware and operating system requirements, which are capable of running games with certain graphical settings. Backward chaining inference method is used to conclude the output, which the requirements are based on user’s input. The application is made using PHP general-purpose server-side scripting language and MySQL database. By using this application, a user can consult as well as to an expert to know the computer specifications capable of running a game with preferred graphical settings and to estimate the cost to build that computer. This application can also help sellers of computer parts to set price on the custom-built computers, to create category or sales package, as well as to provide information for potential buyers.

In the elderly and senile age, the need for medical care, including dental care, is increasing. The untimely appeal for dental care entails a change in the KPI index, as a result of which a partial or complete loss of teeth occurs. Complete absence of teeth is accompanied by morphofunctional changes of all elements of the dentoalveolar system, a significant decrease in chewing ability. Providing orthopedic dental care to the population of elderly, senile and old age is not easy due to the peculiarities of adaptation to removable dentures. In this study, the impact of removable dentures on the quality of life of a dental patient was assessed. The study involved 217 people aged 75 to 95 years. All patients needed removable prosthetics. Before the prosthetics, a questionnaire was conducted using the OHIP-14 questionnaire. The questionnaire showed the level of satisfaction with their dental health of the patients being examined. Then proceed to prosthetics. In the first group, the prosthesis was manufactured using a standard method. In the second group, the impression was removed using a modified individual spoon, which should improve adaptation to a removable denture. One month after the prosthesis, when all patients had complete adaptation to a removable denture, a second questionnaire was conducted using the OHIP-14 questionnaire. In order to reveal the dynamics of the quality of life of the patients being examined. The results showed the effectiveness of the proposed method. The number of patients with a good standard of living in group 2 increased by 58.8%, and in group 1 only by 34.5%. In group 2, adaptation to removable dentures was more rapid.
