Technological advancements, increasing various aspects of life in the modern era have changed the style and pattern of people's lives. Unhealthy lifestyles are clearly seen in big cities, seen from food that can be found in every fast food restaurant or fast food. If the diet is not controlled, a person will be more susceptible to diseases that are difficult to cure, namely cholesterol. In this study the authors aim to design an expert system application that is used to diagnose cholesterol based and web- based cholesterol diseases based on the symptoms of the disease felt by patients who become a decision in the form of a level of confidence and the solution by using the forward chaining method to get forward reasoning and calculate the value of trust of the symptoms chosen by the patient.

Using skincare and facial skin care must be in accordance with the type of facial skin, because if it is not suitable, it can cause problems such as facial skin breakouts, dry skin, irritated skin, and acne prone skin. To find out the type of facial skin, you have to do an examination with a skin and genital specialist, but the high cost of consultation and the long queue process is an obstacle for everyone. Therefore, the authors created an expert system to identify facial skin types using a combination of certainty factor methods with forward chaining techniques. The diagnostic results from calculations using an expert system application and the results of manual calculations from one of the respondent data from 100 respondent data, namely producing the same level of confidence, each of which produces a percentage of 99.45% and the diagnostic results state that the user has a normal skin type.

The eye is one of the five senses that has a very important role in human life, namely as the organ of vision. If there is interference with the eye or there is a disease, it is very influential on human vision. Its mean that we can conclude that eye is very important in our lie and must be keep for our body.  The purpose of this research to planning and develop the diagnose of expert system about diagnosing of diseases in the eye which include disease information about symptoms or the solution and have role to replace and imitate the process of the reason from an expert in solve the specification problem. the method used for reasoning is forward chaining method. The result of this research is expert system of diagnosing eyes diseases in humans which computerized who can be used for giving information and have benefit in diagnosing disease.

Students who are taking the final semester are students who are completing all their subjects, can take the final project provided they have met the number of credits set to obtain a bachelor's degree. In the process of making a final project, students are required to complete it within a predetermined time, this demand causes students to be depressed, causing stress that affects them in completing their final project and study period. Based on this problem, an Expert System Application was made to Diagnose Stress Levels in Final Year Students by Combining Certainty Factor Methods and Android-Based Forward Chaining Techniques to find out more clearly the level of stress experienced by final year students. The results of the diagnosis on the expert system application and the results of manual calculations on one of the data which is representative of the 200 student data, which produce the same level of confidence, each of which produces a confidence level of 97.97% and was diagnosed with mild stress.Keywords:Android, Certainty Factor, Forward Chaining, Final Year Students, Expert System, Stress.

Frequent fires can occur in or like buildings of buildings or high rise buildings. The losses incurred by the fire disaster are enormous. Care and maintenance standards for diesel engine pumps must be observed. All technicians must have expertise in the maintenance and maintenance of the diesel pump engine. Such expertise can be obtained from official training conducted by the education center, reading guidelines for dealing with diesel pump engine damage obtained from diesel pump manufacturing plants and additional knowledge gained from learning while attending education and training. In this study the researchers set "Symptoms of Damage to the diesel engine of the Fire Pump" as a variable. The expert system application detects web-based diesel pump damage with a forward chaining method that has been made, after conducting an expert analysis test then testing the user's response to this expert system application, the test is carried out by consulting using this expert system application. Expert systems are components and elements that are combined into one to achieve certain goals. The system design is done after analyzing the diesel pump damage data and designing a web-based expert system. Chaining forward method is a method of inference that makes sense from a problem to a solution. Damage to the diesel pump by using the forward chaining method provides the right solution of the problem at hand. Based on these suggestions it can be concluded that an expert system detects damage to a web-based diesel pump that has been made can help all users in analyzing the problem based on consultation

Pulp and periacal disease is happening in Indonesia. This is because knowledge and people awarness to take care their dental health is in low level, so that a few of people in Indonesia do not know types, symptoms, and the solution, how to resolve the problem. Altough pulp and periacal disease have a bad impact like the patient's quality of life. Besides the cost of expensive dental care and have an impact on a person's overall health, such as can cause catastrophic diseases such as stroke, heart desease, and kidney. Based on these conditions, very important to make a web-based expert system to diagnose this problem with forward chaining methode. The expert system is created using  Dreamweaver C56, PHP, CSS, and MySQL. Through this system application, people will find out the information and get consultations about pulp and periapical disease easily and quickly, so that it can be dealt with quickly and correctly.

The purpose of this paper is to create an expert system to detect oil palm plant diseases in order to help farmers / companies in providing accurate information about the diseases of oil palm plants and how to overcome them and to help reduce the risk of decreasing palm oil production. This system is designed to mimic the expertise of an expert who is able to detect diseases that attack oil palm plants. The method used is forward chaining that is starting from a set of data and proving a fact by describing the level of confidence and uncertainty found in a hypothesis. The results of this study are to diagnose diseases of oil palm plants and their computerization using web programming languages.

ABSTRAK             Pada saat ini perkembangan teknologi dan komunikasi dari waktu ke waktu terasa semakin pesat. Salah satu aplikasi dibidang komunikasi adalah sistem pakar. Program aplikasi sistem pakar   yang dirancang adalah sistem pakar untuk mendiagnosa penyakit seperti penyakit campak. Dengan adanya program aplikasi ini diharapkan orang awam yang kurang pengetahuan tentang penyakit campak akan menjadi lebih mengetahuinya. Kemudian aplikasi ini mudah penggunaannya dalam mendiagnosa penyakit campak tanpa harus pergi ke dokter, serta mudah diakses dimana pun dan kapan pun. Metode pelacakan yang digunakan adalah metode penalaran forward chaining (pelacakan ke depan). Program ini dirancang dengan menggunakan media pemrograman PHP (Hypertext Preprosessor) dan menggunakan database MySQL sebagai penyimpanan data yang tujuannya agar tampilan dapat lebih menarik dan mudah dalam penggunaannya, juga bisa diakses internet.              Kata Kunci : Sistem Pakar, Diagnosa Campak, Forward Chaining                                                             ABSTRACT           At this time the development of technology and communication from time to time seem more rapidly. One application in the field of communication is an expert system. Expert system application program is an expert system designed to diagnose diseases such as measles. With the application program is expected to lay people who lack knowledge of measles will be more informed. Then the application is easy to use in diagnosing measles without having to go to the doctor, as well as easily accessible wherever and whenever. Tracking method used is a forward chaining reasoning method (tracking ahead). Abstrak— Anak-anak pada usia 2 bulan sampai 5 tahun (Balita) lebih rentan terkena penyakit. Lingkungan sangat mempengaruhi kesehatan Balita. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat sebuah aplikasi sistem pakar diagnosa penyakit pada Balita berbasis mobile. Penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga tahap. Tahap pertama adalah pengumpulan data dan informasi dari Manajemen Terpadu Balita Sakit (MTBS) dan wawancara dengan Bidan. Dari pengumpulan data dan informasi tersebut ditemukan fakta penyakit, keluhan, gejala dan saran penanganan. Tahap kedua adalah pembuatan rule dengan 18 penyakit. Tahap ketiga adalah implementasi aplikasi sistem pakar berbasis mobile dengan fitur diagnosa penyakit, riwayat diagnosa dan kumpulan penyakit. Aplikasi sistem pakar yang dibuat dapat mendiagnosa penyakit dan memberikan saran penanganan. Hasil evaluasi dari 50 data uji coba menghasilkan tingkat akurasi sebesar 82%, dimana 41 hasil diagnosa yang benar dan 9 diagnosa yang salah. Kata Kunci— Sistem Pakar, Forward Chaining, Diagnosa Penyakit, Manajemen Terpadu Balita Sakit, Knowladge BaseAbstract— Children at the age of 2 months to 5 years (toddlers) are more susceptible to disease contagious. Environmental condition significantly influences the children health. This  research aimed to create a mobile-based expert system application to diagnose disease in toddlers. This research consist of three stages. The first stage were data and information collection from Manajemen Terpadu Balita Sakit  (MTBS) and interview with medical staffs. From the first stage, we can discover the disease facts, signs, symptoms and treatment advices. The second stage was the construction of rules for 18 diseases. The third stage was the implementation of mobile-based expert system application with features of disease diagnosis, diagnosis history and collection of disease diagnosis. Expert system application made able to diagnose the disease and provide treatment advice. The results of evaluation using 50 testing data provides the level of accuracy of 82%, where 41 diagnosis result were true and 9 diagnosis were false. Keywords— Expert System, Forward Chaining, Disease Diagnosis, Manajemen Terpadu Balita Sakit, Knowledge Base

Paper ini membahas tentang penanganan penyakit pada kucing dengan dukungan expert system. Dengan mengimplementasikan perkembangan teknologi saat ini yang dapat menyelesaikan suatu permasalahan layaknya seorang manusia. Penanganan penyakit pada kucing saat ini masih dilakukan dengan uji laboratorium, dan menggunakan kertas sebagai form perhitungan hasil diagnosa yang dilakukan oleh dokter pada Dinas Peternakan dan Kesehatan Hewan dan Klinik Zech Small Animal di kota Padang. Dari permasalahan tersebut dibuatlah suatu web tempat untuk konsultasi berbagai cara penanganan kesehatan kucing baik berupa mencegah dan mengobati penyakit kucing dari gejala-gejala yang ditimbulkan. Tahapan penelitian dimulai dari pengumpulan data berupa interview langsung dengan dokter hewan dan beberapa buku sebagai study literatur, dilanjutkan dengan perancangan sistem aplikasi berbasis web menggunakan metode forward chaining, kemudian dilakukan pengembangan serta pengujian sistem pada Dinas Peternakan dan Kesehatan Hewan dan Klinik Zech Animal di kota Padang. Terdapat 21 Penyakit yang dihasilkan diimplementasikan kedalam sebuah aplikasi web based expert system. Aplikasi ini mampu membantu para pecinta kucing (cat lovers) untuk melakukan penanganan penyakit dan pencegahan pada kucing kesayangan mereka.
