CVT system (Continuously Variable Transmission) is a transmission system that uses a pulley and belt system, instead of using gears. The components of a continuously variable transmission are studied through this analysis, including how CVT functions. The object of this research was to decide the centrifugal force measurement. Usage of real data on motorized vehicles using CVT in this estimate. The object of this analysis was to decide the centrifugal force measurement. The majority of bicycle derailleur systems in use today are based on the same technology used over a century ago. This technology has made large strides in improvement over that time period, yet limitations remain. The derailleur is expensive, prone to damage, requires regular maintenance, and is a significant portion of a bike’s overall weight. Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) technology could resolve many, if not all, of those limitations. CVT systems are commonly used in small motorized vehicles, such as go-karts or snowmobiles, and is becoming increasingly popular in the automotive industry. This research explores the application of CVT technology to a bicycle. Proto-typing and testing was conducted to understand the functionality, reliability, and feasibility of the design.

After a short introduction characterizing the general outline of the issue, this paper describes the test results of oil leakage measurements through CVT actuator seals. The research was done using Jatco company's CVT 7 model, the popular gearbox for small passenger cars. Several curves of leakage values are given for both actuators, concerning different conditions such as rotational speed, oil temperature or pressure. In the summary several conclusions are formulated, based on presented test results. The determined maximal value of leakage is about 1 l/min. It emerged that the influence of centrifugal force is negligible. What is more, the observed phenomena are shortly described and projected for more detailed investigation.

This research presents an analytical method to calculate the characteristics of the ball bearing under the effect of the waviness in its rolling elements and the centrifugal force and gyroscopic moment of ball. The waviness of rolling elements is modeled by using sinusoidal function, and the centrifugal force and gyroscopic. moment of ball are included in the kinematic constraints and force equilibrium equations to produce the nonlinear governing equations. To improve the convergence of the numerical solution of the nonlinear governing equations, it includes the derivatives of the gyroscopic moment and load-deflection constant of each race in the Newton-Raphson formulation. The accuracy of this research is validated by comparing with the prior research, i.e., (i) the contact force, contact angle in case of considering only the centrifugal force and gyroscopic moment of ball, and (ii) the contact force and vibration frequencies in case of considering only the waviness, respectively. It investigates the stiffness, contact force, displacement and vibration frequencies of the ball bearing, considering not only the centrifugal force and gyroscopic moment of ball but also the waviness of the rolling elements.
