WASTE WATER SEPARATION IN THE FIELD OF CENTRIFUGAL FORCES

Рассмотрены вопросы очистки нефтесодержащих сточных вод промышленных предприятий с малым содержанием легких примесей (около 1 %). Предложены пути по усовершенствованию конструкции цилиндроконического гидроциклона для выше описанного процесса. Проведенные экспериментальные исследования полей скоростей и давлений в цилиндроконическом гидроциклоне указывают на перспективность использования его для разделения нефтесодержащих сточных с невысокой концентрацией легких примесей. The issues of purification of oil-containing wastewater of industrial enterprises with a low content of light impurities (about 1%) are considered. Ways to improve the design of a cylindrical-conical hydrocyclone for the above-described process are proposed. The experimental studies of velocity and pressure fields in a cylindrical-conical hydrocyclone indicate the prospects of using it for the separation of oil-containing wastewater with a low concentration of light impurities.

Полученные данные позволяют сделать вывод, что в цилиндрическом гидроциклоне по сравнению с цилиндроконическим гидроциклоном обеспечиваются оптимальные условия для сепарации жидких частиц. Experimental studies of velocity and pressure fields in a cylindrical hydrocyclone for the separation of emulsions with a low content of light impurities (no more than 1%) have been carried out. The data obtained allow us to conclude that in a cylindrical hydrocyclone, in comparison with a cylindrical-conical hydrocyclone, optimal conditions are provided for the separation of liquid particles.

The results of experimental studies on the evaluation of the possibility of using enzyme complexes in the biological treatment of waste water from pulp and paper enterprises are presented. The use of enzyme complexes will increase the efficiency of wastewater treatment by COD and BOD, and will also have a beneficial effect on the hydrochemical and hydrobiological characteristics of activated sludge. Experimental studies have determined the points of introduction of enzyme complexes into the technological scheme of biological wastewater treatment.

The numerical analysis of mercury pollution in the vicinity of the “Usoliekhimprom" industrial site and a territory of Usolye-Sibirskoye was held. The main centers of atmospheric influx of mercury vapor, which are located in the area of the sludge storage and the former mercury electrolysis workshop, were determined by the results of the soil survey. Asymptotic descriptions of the processes of transfer of light impurities from ground-based sources, taking into account the relative position of foci and observation points, were proposed. A reconstruction model of concentration fields over a long period of time for the dominant sources of plant was developed. The model was tested on biomonitoring data for 2019. Quite satisfactory agreement between the data of experimental studies of the content of mercury in poplar leaves with the results of numerical modeling was obtained. The ratios of contributions to pollution from different objects of the enterprise were calculated. Recommendations on the use of the reconstruction model to control rehabilitation measures at the Usoliekhimprom industrial site, which are currently being carried out, have been proposed.

<p style="text-align: justify;">On suit, pendant une campagne, dans différents secteurs d'un chai de la zone de JEREZ, l'évolution de la charge polluante des rejets.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">Les eaux résiduaires ne diffèrent que très légèrement de celles d'autres chais. Les taux maxima de pouvoir contaminant se situent pendant les vendanges et le processus de stabilisation par le froid.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">Par rapport à d'autres industries du secteur agro-alimentaire, la charge contaminante des déchets des chais d'élaboration des vins est faible. Un recyclage des rejets est impossible du fait de leur faible concentration et de l'irrégularité avec laquelle ils sont produits.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">+++</p><p style="text-align: justify;">During a complete season, for different parts of a cellar in JEREZ area, the evolution of waste water pollution has been observed.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">Waste water is only slightly different from the ones coming from other cellars. Maximum contamination occurs during harvest and cold stabilisation.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">Compared to other food processing industries, cellar waste contamination is low. A recycling of those waste waters is impossible due to their low concentration and irregular production.</p>

The work deals with the use of flotation combines for the treatment of waste water from heavy metals. The analysis of various methods of treatment of waste water from heavy metals was carried out, which revealed the most promising technical solutions with their possible implementation for modernization of existing treatment facilities of the enterprise. Experimental studies of several versions of technological schemes were carried out on the basis of which a technological scheme of waste water treatment was selected, including all positions of equipment existing at local treatment facilities, and supplemented with a reagent treatment unit, treatment in a flotation complex using reagents, application of filters and pH correction.

Exfiltration of waste water from sewer systems represents a potential danger for the soil and the aquifer. Common models, which are used to describe the exfiltration process, are based on the law of Darcy, extended by a more or less detailed consideration of the expansion of leaks, the characteristics of the soil and the colmation layer. But, due to the complexity of the exfiltration process, the calibration of these models includes a significant uncertainty. In this paper, a new exfiltration approach is introduced, which implements the dynamics of the clogging process and the structural conditions near sewer leaks. The calibration is realised according to experimental studies and analysis of groundwater infiltration to sewers. Furthermore, exfiltration rates and the sensitivity of the approach are estimated and evaluated, respectively, by Monte-Carlo simulations.
