Globally, festivals and host communities face increased competition each year from one another and from the myriad of alternate entertainment options. To remain competitive, festival organizers must fully understand what keeps festival attendees coming back year after year. Festivalscape has been an emerging concept of value in this arena, and previous studies have found that festivalscape has an effect on the attendees' emotion and behavior that influences their overall perceived value of the festival. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between festivalscape and the attendees' motivation, satisfaction, and loyalty. A self-administered questionnaire was developed and a structural equation modeling (SEM) was employed to test the proposed hypotheses. Study results support the hypotheses, indicating the importance of using festivalscape factors for festival organization and management and effective customer relationship marketing. Further, this study provides academic contributions to theoretical foundations by confirming the effects of these factors. This study also provides practical implications for managing festivals effectively and successfully.

This research investigates how the companies' efforts' visibility influence VCs members' loyalty. Based on the relationship marketing and the signaling theory, it posits that perceived benefits by members influence loyalty through the full mediation of the relationship investments and the relationship quality. However, this influence is moderated by the visibility of companies' efforts. Data from 342 members of company-managed virtual communities were collected. The sample was divided into two groups according to the visibility of the company's efforts. Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling techniques and multi-group analysis. Results show that this influence is significant when the efforts of the company are visible and not significant when they are not. Providing benefits to members is then not enough to foster loyalty. The company has to be a visible partner who contributes in the success of the virtual community.

This study was analyzed descriptively and verificatively through a survey method of 329 marketing managers in retail companies in Indonesia. The technique of data collection is done by indirect communication, through instruments in the form of questionnaires. Data were analyzed by weighted means score (WMS) and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results showed that employee competency was good, but not optimal, indicated by the indicator of the employee's need for the company and the employee's priority scale in the work was still weak. Furthermore, the compensation strategy is relatively good, indicated by indicators of salary/wages, incentives and cooperative facilities that are still weak. On the other hand, competencies and compensation strategies partially and simultaneously have positive and significant impact for employee performance which requires serious handling.
