There is a need to appropriately measure the effectiveness of Employer branding initiatives taken by an organization. There are a lot of questions to be addressed while measuring the effectiveness of the past or existing initiatives and formulating a new Employer branding strategy such as: Do the objectives of the Employer branding completely meet the initiative? What is the reach of the initiatives? Whether to continue with the same initiative or not in future? Hence while designing a new improved Employer branding strategy, there needs to be an appropriate initiative measurement methodology which can address the above questions quantitatively. This paper is an attempt to create A matrix “Brand Awareness Quotient” which will help in measuring the efficacy and support decision making for formulating the new strategy the same. This quantitative way of scoring and analyzing each and every initiative provides a 360-degree overview of the complete Employer branding strategy of the organization.

Mutual funds play a crucial role in financial sector for small-scale and large-scale investors. Within the Indian scenario, there is a need to define criteria to guide the investors in selection between small-caps and mid-caps mutual funds. Although small-caps provide there is always a question of higher market risks compared to mid-caps. So, the work emphasizes on analysis performances of Small caps in comparison with mid-caps that would certainly support decision-making. In the present work a comprehensive assessment of existing mutual funds that involves small and mid-cap with respect to Indian scenario is presented and their performance in the market for the past ten years is analyzed. The study analyses the fund’s performance by considering parameters like market risk, momentum, expenses, size and value. The persistence and decision-making of the investor are discussed with respect to the small and mid-cap funds. In this regard, we have considered the best and worst-performing small and mid-cap funds according to their returns in a overall span of more than 3 years. A comparative analysis between the decision making parameters that are performing and underperforming during this period are considered. In this study, small-caps funds like HDFC small-cap fund, Kotak, DSP small Cap fund and Franklin India Small MF and in parallel, mid-cap funds including Kota Emerging equity, DSP Midcap and Axis Midcap and Franklin India are considered

Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) is a noninvasive activation method that is increasingly used for motor mapping. Preoperative functional mapping in vascular surgery is not routinely performed; however, in cases of high-grade arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), it could play a role in preoperative decision making. A 16-year-old male was suffering from a giant, right-sided insular, Spetzler-Martin Grade V AVM. This patient's history included 3 hemorrhagic strokes in the past 3 years, resulting in Medical Research Council Grade 2–3 (proximal) and 2–4 (distal) paresis of the left side of the body and hydrocephalus requiring a ventriculoperitoneal shunt. Preoperative TMS showed absent contralateral innervation of the remaining left-sided motor functions. Subsequently, the AVM was completely resected without any postoperative increase of the left-sided paresis. This case shows that TMS can support decision making in AVM treatment by mapping motor functions.

                        Internationalization of Ontario colleges is a strategic mandate from both the federal and provincial governments to address declining domestic enrollment, labour market shortages, and the evolving needs of 21st century post-secondary students. The growth in numbers of international students in Ontario colleges has been particularly rapid over the past five years, and existing literature on internationalization and Ontario colleges was limited. Therefore, a careful review and analysis of policy at both the federal and provincial level can help Ontario colleges understand what policy has done to create the current environment for internationalization, anticipate how policy will impact the future of internationalization, and support decision making as colleges try to find success in this continuously changing landscape.  The results of this review and analysis of policy surrounding internationalization in the Ontario College system indicate a probable need for additional research, funding, training, and policy changes to ensure a sustainable future. Any calamities or emergency situations have created drastic and everlasting impacts on mankind since history. Such situations need to be managed in an efficient and effective manner. There are countries of the world where the use of evolving technology is not a part of the management system. In this paper using a combination of technologies and tools we will provide a better alternative solution to the intuitive decisions thus making systems more reliable. Data Mining, Data Analytics, Data Visualization and Decision making have key applications demonstrated in this paper. Upon the choice of User Selections, this system will look into the number of deaths and recoveries that have occurred everyday from the start of spread of the COVID-19. Based on this information, the goal will be to analyze and formulate a death and recovery analysis, which will in turn help us in understanding the effect of corona virus on different work sectors, which in our case will be the Business sector of the country. The system will also focus on forecasting the GDP based on the past datasets of the country. Different visualization methods will be shown according to the Automated Machine learning system that will generate statistical depiction from the inflow of dynamic data. These info graphic visuals will provide a better understanding to the user as to how the situation will affect her own sector/domain as well as current stance of the GDP and enhance the overall User Experience (UX) of the user.

Over the past decade, on-surface fabrication of organic nanostructures has been widely investigated for the development of molecular electronic devices, nanomachines, and new materials. Here, we introduce a new strategy to obtain alkyl oligomers in a controlled manner using on-surface radical oligomerisations that are triggered by the electrons/holes between the sample surface and the tip of a scanning tunnelling microscope. The resulting radical-mediated mechanism is substantiated by a detailed theoretical study. This electron transfer event only occurs when <i>V</i><sub>s</sub> < -3 V or <i>V</i><sub>s</sub> > + 3 V and allows access to reactive radical species under exceptionally mild conditions. This transfer can effectively ‘switch on’ a sequence leading to formation of oligomers of defined size distribution due to the on-surface confinement of reactive species. Our approach enables new ways to initiate and control radical oligomerisations with tunnelling electrons, leading to molecularly precise nanofabrication.

The reception of journalists at the Waspada Daily Medan always went through several rigorous selections before being determined to be accepted as journalists at the Waspada Medan Daily. There are several criteria that must be possessed by each participant as a condition for becoming a journalist in the Daily Alert Medan. To get the best participants, the Waspada Medan Daily needed a decision support system. Decision Support Systems (SPK) are part of computer-based information systems (including knowledge-based systems (knowledge management)) that are used to support decision making within an organization or company. Decision support systems provide a semitructured decision, where no one knows exactly how the decision should be made. In this study the authors applied the VlseKriterijumska Optimizacija I Kompromisno Resenje (VIKOR) as the method to be applied in the decision support system application. The VIKOR method is part of the Multi-Attibut Decision Making (MADM) Concept, which requires normalization in its calculations. To live well in the present, we take direction from the past. Yet, individuals may engage in a variety of behaviors that distort their past and current circumstances, reducing the likelihood of adaptive problem solving and decision making. In this article, we attend to self-deception as one such class of behaviors. Drawing upon research showing both the maladaptive consequences and self-perpetuating nature of self-deception, we propose that self-deception is an understudied risk and maintaining factor for psychopathology, and we introduce a “cognitive-integrity”-based approach that may hold promise for increasing the reach and effectiveness of our existing therapeutic interventions. Pending empirical validation of this theoretically-informed approach, we posit that patients may become more informed and autonomous agents in their own therapeutic growth by becoming more honest with themselves.

Within a clinical sports medical setting the discussion about doping is insufficient. In elite-sports use of pharmaceutical agents is daily business in order to maintain the expected top-level performance. Unfortunately, a similar development could be observed in the general population of leisure athletes where medical supervision is absent. As a sports physician you are facing imminent ethical questions when standing in between. Therefore, we propose the application of a standardised risk score as a tool to promote doping-prevention and launch the debate within athlete-physician-relationship. In the longterm such kind of risk stratification systems may support decision-making with regard to «protective» exclusion of sporting competition.
