Many e-learning studies have evaluated learning attitudes and behaviors, based on TAM. However, a successful e-learning system (ELS) should take both system and information quality into account by applying ISM developed by Delone and McLean. In addition, the acceptance for information system depends on the perceived usefulness and ease of use according to TAM. This research combined TAM with ISM by introducing system quality, quality of platform information, and course information as an antecedent of perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. These factors were crucial for understanding users’ intention to continue their use of ELS. This study investigated 412 students with ELS experiences. The results indicate that system quality, platform information, and course information had significantly related to user satisfaction and their intention to use ELS continuously.

The purpose of this study is to explore student and lecturer views of blended learning which is based upon an undergraduate courses offered at the faculty of business at Al-Balqa Applied University, which applied the blended learning approach based on the use of face to face F2F, and e-learning. The study is based on the exploratory qualitative research approach, specifically designed to identify students and lecturers' perceptions towards blended learning process, content, and ease of use. The case study data were collected through structured interviews with 40 undergraduate students who were enrolled in different courses and from 10 lecturers from the faculty of business at Al-Balqa Applied University. In comparison to the traditional face-to-face (F2F) approach, both students and lecturers found the blended learning method more flexible and preferred it over F2F in many instances. The study concludes that in general, the lectures/students’ attitudes towards BL were positive in terms of the domain process, and content. Moreover, they believe that blended learning applications are, hardly, challenging to be applied sometimes. The study also presents that, in order for graduates to meet the challenges of entering the workforce of the 21st century, blended learning should be used as a new learning strategy. Findings of this study will be beneficial for policy makers to formulate appropriate and effective policy to assist the higher education institutions. Also this study is important for university students and lecturers, as it makes them very aware of the significance of blended learning and transferable skills in the workplace. This study provides fresh insights into the context of the benefits of blended learning in Middle East, particularly in Jordan. Moreover, the higher learning institution will be capable to determine the blended learning satisfaction level amongst students and lecturers.

This article examines pre-service teacher perspectives of teaching with an online synchronous (live-time) platform as a part of their training. Fifty-three students who participated in a blended learning (including both face-to-face and online lectures) course were assessed in a teaching simulation through an online presentation, and participated in questionnaires and interviews about their experiences as e-learners using the platform. The EPEC hierarchy of conditions (Ease of use, Psychologically safe environment, e-learning/e-teaching Efficacy, and e-learning Competence) for e-learning competency, developed based on an analysis of pre-service teachers’ experience as e-learners in this same study, was used as a framework to assess teacher perspectives as e-teachers using this technology. Qualitative interview data were collected about students’ experiences using the platform, and analyzed via thematic content analysis. The findings showed that students generally favoured the online e-teaching synchronous platform over in-person presentations, and the quality of online presentations was considered at least as good as in person.
