The relevance of research is defined by the increasing importance of information technology support of managerial decisions of the modern economy subjects, whose priorities are progressively shifting from property to consumption, in the context of society innovation-digital transformation. The research is aimed at proposing ways to introduce the breakthrough blockchain technology into the system of interactions between sharing economy agents and at assessing the effect arising from the perspective of the transition to a true market economy of equal subjects. Achieving the goal of the study required the solution of such tasks as the identification of economic entities' decision-making algorithm and analysis of the advantages of innovative blockchain technology compared to the information sharing economy platforms that are actively working today. The novelty of the author's approach consists in substantiating the advantages of blockchain technology in approaching the goal of creating a socially oriented system of cooperation between equal actors.

This chapter shifts you from the complex topic of network centric warfare to address the basic fundamentals of today’s information enterprise environment. It addresses how our information enterprise is structured and what forms of information forms are there. This includes use of text, images, voice, audio/video and data. It then provides an understanding of the information functions as to how to use these information forms. It helps create, display, store, process and transport information, and work on how these converge. It then introduces the concept of a decision pyramid which in detail explains data, information, knowledge, intelligence and how decision making requires all of them. It further discusses an information sharing strategy for large organizations and the information sharing value chain. The chapter ends by discussing a number of tomorrow’s information technology future trends.

In the supply chain, information sharing is critical for facilitating decision making, accelerating the schedule, reducing costs, and enhancing the final quality of the project. However, information sharing is challenging in the construction supply chain when information asymmetry could help certain individuals avoid liability or help others maximize their profits by using substandard materials. In this environment, the stakeholders may not truly trust one another and may be reluctant to share complete information. Even though several studies have emphasized the importance of trust for information sharing, few studies have focused on promoting trust and verifying information using technology. The purpose of this paper is to examine the potential of Blockchain technology for establishing a trust-enhanced environment with distributed trust that will benefit the construction supply chain. This paper presents three logical scenarios for the application of Blockchain technology in information-sharing systems in order to demonstrate that the technology helps establish a trust-enhanced environment for reliable information sharing while eliminating counterfeiting and reducing bullwhip effect. These scenarios will demonstrate the value of Blockchain-based information sharing in the construction supply chain and possibly provide direction for future research with greater depth and specificity.

The paper explores the topical subject of modeling enterprise operations with the use of marginal analysis. The market economy is characterised by the heightened instability of the complex socioeconomic system, which is almost impossible to fully grasp and study. Businesses face intense competition. Adequate managerial decision-making requires in-depth comprehensive assessments of the situation and reliable forecasting. A firm that makes correct forecasts gains additional profit compared to one abstaining from forecasting. Meanwhile, a firm making an incorrect forecast loses most of all. Managerial decisions often rely on break-even analysis, i. e., marginal analysis. This paper explores examples where even in cases when disadvantageous choices are made (as shown by break-even analysis), the setting can still lead to positive results, i. e., at least a moderate profit, through the validation of the managerial decision by further analysis and calculations. The methods of enquiry, retrospective and document analysis, as well as synthesis, generalisation and systematisation were used.

The subject of the research is the process of making managerial decisions for innovative IT projects investing. The paper focuses on the new approach to decision making on investing innovative IT projects using expert survey in a fuzzy reasoning system. As input information, expert estimates of projects have been aggregated into six indicators having a linguistic description of the individual characteristics of the project type "high", "medium", and "low". The task of decision making investing has been formalized and the term-set of the output variable Des has been defined: to invest 50-75% of the project cost; to invest 20-50% of the project cost; to invest 10-20% of the project cost; to send the project for revision; to turn down investing project. The fuzzy product model of making investment management decisions has been developed; it adequately describes the process of investment management. The expediency of using constructed production model on a practical example is shown.
