Medical education programs must deliver valued results that stakeholders expect in return for their funding investments. In the past, healthcare organizations accepted reports about test results and participant perceptions of the program as adequate evidence of course outcomes. Today, program funders expect evaluations that provide evidence that medical education programs improve organizational excellence measures to justify ongoing funding. This chapter will explain four of the five elements required of a proven, comprehensive evaluation system. This five-element system is necessary to provide the desired organizational excellence evidence that medical educators can adopt to address the needs of stakeholders at different levels of an organization. Specifically, this chapter will overview an evaluation framework, a process model, and guiding principles that are crucial elements of this methodology. The chapter ends with a case study that shows how a medical education team used this measurement and evaluation methodology to plan how they would design and evaluate a medical education program requested by executives to solve an ICU central line infection problem.

Some international researches has proven that Hungarian students are below the desired level regarding the application of acquired knowledge in many areas. In recent years competence based education includes knowledge, attitudes and abilities, gained ground in Hungarian schools. Our research aims to analyze the sustainability of some competence based, alternative education programs in Hungarian public education. Additional objectives include: revealing the opinion, examining the impact, exploring the related experience of students, parents, and teachers towards the following competence-based education programs: „Student Cognition” „Lesson Differentiation”, „Project Based Education”, „Epochal Education”, „Cooperative Education” and „ICT tools”. Questionnaire was used as a research method, applying SPSS to evaluate our data. The survey was carried out in a public school which takes part in the dissemination of competence based trainings. Sample consists of 158 participants. Results: applying these practices students and teachers are more effective to discuss their problems, the quality of education improves. Meet the students’ age characteristics, establish better measurement and evaluation system, clearer rules. Adapt to the students’ abilities/skills increasing their self-sufficiency and performance orientation. Consequently, the new practices can be appropriate to meet the challanges of public education in the 21st century. Key words: Hungarian students, Hungarian public education, competence-based education programs.

This paper studies the development of medical education under 5g technology, and explores a new mixed teaching mode under the background of medical reform based on 5g network technology and competency. This paper supports students' real-time streaming media and real-time online interaction in the form of multipoint and multi terminal, and carries out a series of medical integration education courses based on 5G network. In addition, formative assessment is conducted after each class. A comprehensive evaluation system is formed through feedback reflection guidance and summative evaluation in the last class. This can help students improve their core competitiveness. The results show that 5G network provides experienced data rate and meets the bandwidth requirements of downlink and uplink throughput in the course. The formative assessment and feedback cycle supported by 5G network can be used on the platform to predict medical students' learning habits and scores more quickly and accurately, which is helpful to improve the quality of education and teaching. The realization of medical education through 5G network technology is a new exploration of teaching mode. It can not only improve the learning initiative and enthusiasm of medical students, but also cultivate and improve the core competence of medical students.

Abstract Background A comprehensive evaluation and remediation program is an essential component of any residency program. The evaluation system should identify problems accurately and early and allow residents with problems to be assigned to a remediation program that effectively deals with them. Elements of a proactive remediation program include a process for outlining deficiencies, providing resources for improvement, communicating clear goals for acceptable performance, and reevaluating performance against these goals. Intervention In recognition of the importance of early detection and prompt remediation of the struggling resident, we sought to develop a multifaceted approach to resident evaluation with the aim of early identification and prompt remediation of difficulties. This article describes our comprehensive evaluation program and remediation program, which uses resources within our radiology department and institutional graduate medical education office. Discussion An effective evaluation system should identify problems accurately and early, whereas a proactive remediation program should effectively deal with issues once they are identified.

Product evaluation is very important for product improvement and development, and subjective product evaluation determines customer’s evaluation of products to some extent, so the purpose of this study is to establish a reasonable subjective product evaluation system. In this study, we comprehensively determine the evaluation indexes based on Kansei engineering (KE), establish an overall product evaluation system by using analytic hierarchy process (AHP), and establish the subjective product evaluation system by classifying the evaluation indexes in the overall product evaluation system into “objective evaluation index” and “subjective evaluation index”, removing the objective evaluation indexes, and retaining the subjective evaluation indexes. Additionally, we select some modern chairs as experimental samples to verify the reliability and validity of this subjective product evaluation system by means of questionnaires. The experimental results show that, in this subjective product evaluation system, the subjective evaluation of the product is positively correlated with the “favorite” level of the product in comprehensive evaluation, and negatively correlated with the “least favorite” level of the product in comprehensive evaluation, indicating that this subjective product evaluation system realizes a symmetry between subjective product evaluation and comprehensive product evaluation. Therefore, it can be concluded that this subjective product evaluation system based on KE and AHP proposed in this study has reliability and validity, and can be used for product evaluation to judge the popularity of products and enhance the competitiveness of products.
