The COVID-19 pandemic caused an unprecedented shift towards educational technology around the world. Teachers began exploring digital tools, which contributed to their professional development. This ethnographic research studied a teacher online Facebook community in Georgia from a participant-observer perspective to understand its social interactions and discussions, using both qualitative insights collected through observation, and quantitative data using various digital tools. The chapter attempts to find a silver lining in the middle of the pandemic: it argues that the adaptation to educational technology during the pandemic gave teachers new opportunities to explore teaching online. Peer-led teaching and learning, sharing experiences, and best practices appeared to be productive. This chapter contributes to understanding the Georgian context during the early waves of the pandemic, and can serve as a unit of comparison with similar online communities elsewhere.

INTRODUCTION: Currently students grow up in a world of digital tools that allow you to connect instantly with the world. At the same time, teachers face several challenges to increase student interest and learning efficiency. One such challenge is the pedagogical commitment of the density of biochemistry and cell biology contents, producing a conflict scenario, between meeting content and maintain the class quality. OBJECTIVES: From this perspective, this study aimed to evaluate the learning biochemistry and cell biology contents in high school classes of IFRN, using collaborative and digital tools in the Moodle. MATERIAL AND METHODS: The contents were offered using various tools such as video lectures, forums, questionnaires, portfolios, glossaries and electronic books. Then these tools were evaluated using an electronic form.  In addition to the tools, we evaluated the platform interaction, the performance of activities and the content gamification. RESULTS: The quantitative results revealed directly proportional relationship of the interaction of Moodle with the performance of activities. The content gamification was also assessed positively, with 61% of students considered good, very good or excellent. The best evaluated tools were video lectures, with 31% preference, and questionnaires, with 24%; followed by electronic book, with 10%, and portfolio, with 5.5%. The other tools totaled 30% of the preference. Qualitative results revealed an educational gain of content, because the student lived the experience of teaching and learning collaboratively. In addition, these tools decreased conflicts between content and schedule. CONCLUSION: Thus, the use of information and communication technology (ICT) in a collaborative learning provides relevant results, bringing the reality of the world connected to the classroom. In addition, it assists in defining the content and creative development of a strategy for the construction of the concepts applied to biochemistry and cell biology teaching.

Teaching and Learning Online is a collection of seventeen papers divided into six sections. The papers have their origins in an 'expert' seminar held at the International Centre for Learner Managed Learning at Middlesex University, London. The seminar brought together a group of practitioners (academic, training and media) from around the world to consider progress to date and the future of learning and teaching online. For the purposes of the book 'online' is understood to include 'electronic means of distributing and engaging with learning' (ix) and only includes broadcast media to the degree that they overlap with 'the overall internet scenario' (ix). According to the book details of the original seminar are available from http:llwww.iclml.mdx.acuk/TLonline. Readers are invited to contribute to online discussion. AbstractThe Corona period created great challenges in the teaching and learning process. This presentation describes a research based on studying the subject of big data using virtual escape rooms. Due to the period it was decided that the final task in the Big Data course would be to build a virtual escape room that deals with a topic from the world of Big Data. The aim of the study was to examine how the understanding of various topics related to Big Data is sharpened when they are taught through virtual escape rooms. Each group of students chose a topic from the world of big data and built a virtual escape room around it. Peer learning was then performed, and each group edited rooms of other groups, so that each group learned about a variety of topics related to the big data world. By monitoring peer learning it was possible to assess the nature of the learning process experienced by the group. This unique learning allows for flexibility in terms of time and place in holding meetings. The interactions between the various group members contribute to enrichment the knowledge and the development of creative ideas.According to the results of the study, this type of learning sharpened different skills among the participants - social, communicative and thinking. It also developed a deep understanding when the escape room practically demonstrates the topic of big data in an optimal way through a variety of representations. During the activity in the escape room there is created an interesting and original connection between the materials and the ideas, open to a variety of interpretations. Digital tools are used effectively and creatively that contribute to understanding the message (Kemp, 2018).

The subject of alignment is not new to the world of education. Today however, it has come to mean different things and to have a heuristic value in education according to research in different areas, not least for neuroscience, and to attention to skills and to the alternation framework. This paper, after looking at the classic references that already attributed an important role to alignment in education processes, looks at the strategic role of alignment in the current context, outlining the shared construction processes and focusing on some of the ways in which this is put into effect.Alignment is part of a participatory, enactive approach that gives a central role to the interaction between teaching and learning, avoiding the limits of behaviourism, which has a greater bias towards teaching, and cognitivism/constructivism, which focus their attention on learning and in any case, on that which separates a teacher preparing the environment and a student working in it.

Palabra clave: Pedagogía, Administración, Éxito universitarioABSTRACT When reading the measurements made in the world of college performances, it is remarkable, questionable and unpleasant that only a Public University ranks 900 in the world and 30th in Latin America, the others are listed neither the post 1500 globally nor 75 in Latin America. Something is happening to the Peruvian university system that does not stand any comparison with its counterparts in the region or the world. Facing the reality that rankings show repeatedly, it will not be intemperate to accept that   global university requires rigorous  effort and variables: • High quality contents that impact daily life.• Flexibility to select and deepen knowledge.• Easy and unlimited access to information.• Many simulation and interactivity with the real environment.• Well recognized and prestigious teachers.• Entrepreneurship promotion and creative view.• Widespread social networks worldwide.• Significant support of information technology and communication.• Endeavour and tutoring to student.• Research linked to national and local development.• Permanent linking mechanisms with graduated students.• Existence of an advisory body of the productive world.•  Consistent administrative support.• Quality of  the results accreditation. In that scenario, the Public University System must change and, in the new form of performance that is demanded, assuming some changes and having a real harmony between pedagogy and administration, will emerge the success it deserves, as both have to start nurturing and supporting for the teaching and learning process . Keyword: Pedagogy, Management,  College Success
