A non experimental survey study was conducted to assess the satisfaction of student nurses’ worked at Covid-19 areas during pandemic situation. 116 student nurses’ have participated in this study. The non-probability convenient sampling technique was used. Data was collected by means of Google form. The tool contain two sections, demographic data and likert scale to assess satisaction level of student nurses’. Objectives of study were to assess the student nurses’ satisfaction level related to clinical posting at covid-19 areas, and to find out the association of satisfaction level with selected demographic variables. The study reveals that out of 116 student nurses’ 28 (24.13%) of them were very satisfied with the clinical posting at covid- 19 areas, 53(45.68%) of them were satisfied, whereas 30 (25.86%) of them were neither satisfied nor dissatisfied, and only 5 (4.31%) of them were dissatisfied. The study concludes most of the student nurses’ were satisfied with all the aspects but dissatisfaction was also noticed. 22(18.96%) of student nurses’ were dissatisfied with the administrative support at assigned hospital. In regard to availability of resources at the hospital and use of PPE kit during working hours 26 (22.41%) 0f student nurses’ reported as dissatisfied. 21(18.10%) of student nurses’ were dissatisfied with covid-19 screening carried out before and after clinical. Also in provision of facilities in quarantines period were reported as dissatisfied by 30(25.86%) of student nurses.

Integrating sustainability concepts, tools, and best practices across the outdoor recreation and park profession has gained momentum over the past three decades. However, missing from the professional and scientific literature have been action-oriented and evaluative research focused on “how” sustainability is being operationalized in the field. Through a qualitative research design focused on the 11 National Forests of the Southwestern Region of the USDA Forest Service, we developed an operational model for how sustainable recreation is being implemented at the Forest level through the Sustainable Recreation Strategy. Data collection included document analysis, stakeholder interviews, and personal observation. Document analysis included a content analysis methodology of 11 Forest-level Sustainable Recreation Action Plans, the principal planning process used to implement the vision and goals set forth by the Regional Sustainable Recreation Strategy. Evidence from the study was used to develop a grounded operational model with three foundational areas of Program, Agency, and Community. Foundational areas were further elaborated into component areas—Program into workforce, communications, outdoor recreation management, financial management, and information management systems—Agency into leadership support, administrative support, and integrated resource management—and Community into partnerships, volunteer program, and conservation education. Operational models such as this can help recreation managers, agency leaders, and policymakers adjust systems, structures, and roles to build program capacity and accelerate program transition towards sustainability.

Abstract Faculty and students in English and other humanities disciplines engage in undergraduate research and scholarship. Administrative support ensures institutional practices, policies such as those focused on tenure and promotion, and rewards are in place to encourage students as scholars, mentored by faculty. Such administrative leadership demonstrates an inclusive recognition that all disciplines engage in undergraduate scholarship; contributes to recruitment and retention efforts; positively impacts on student learning; and effectively promotes the institution, faculty, and students.

Internal audit has become one of the most important means of organizations controlling tasks and achieving objectives. As the internal audit is an important activity for the organization to achieve its goals, adhere to regulations and legislation, and reduce cases of fraud, financial and administrative corruption. Therefore, the research aims mainly to identify the role of senior management in public shareholding companies in the telecommunications sector in the United Arab Emirates in supporting the internal audit unit. The study population consisted of 3 public shareholding companies in the UAE. To achieve the objectives of the research, the research relied on the analytical research method and the comparative research method, and the analysis of secondary data obtained from performance governance reports, and the most important findings of the research: There is administrative support for internal audit units by the boards of directors of public shareholding companies in the telecommunications sector in the United Arab Emirates And administrative support includes the five forms: planning, organizing, directing, leadership, motivating and controlling, and there is appropriate independence for the internal audit units, and the boards of directors take and implement the observations of the internal audit units.

Purpose: Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is a fundamental issue for knowledge management in teaching. Teachers get more benefits from it because of the opportunities for participation in training, workshops, seminars, symposiums, mentoring programs, research work, coaching, and others.  This study explores college teachers’ perceptions about CPD at the college level for knowledge management and lifelong learning and identifies the factors that contribute to designing CPD. Methodology: An organizational case study with mixed methods and a multistage cluster sampling technique were applied to carry out this research. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, college teachers’ face-to-face appointments were converted to e-mail communication to capture data. Findings: Of the 63 scheduled appointments, 37 (58.73%) respondents sent their responses via e-mail. For proper empirical evaluation, we used the non-parametric Mann–Whitney and Shapiro–Wilk tests. Tested and confirmed result of the study suggested that age, subject, length of service, gender, in-house training, necessary skills, administrative support, networking capacity, and online facility are the important contributors to CPD and knowledge management. Implications of the study: The facts and findings of our study are very important for policymakers and stakeholders to formulate appropriate policies.

This study offers insights into how e learning, can be sustained in universities in developing countries, using a minimalist approach, during a crisis such as Covid-19. The banning of face-to-face classroom teaching in Zimbabwean universities and the adoption of e learning motivated it. Whilst this was unexpected, unprepared for, with no precedent or blue print, very few studies appear to pay attention to the perspectives of the academics - the people who are doing the teaching of the students and from a developing country perspective. Apparently, those studies that have been conducted to date are largely quantitative and appear to concentrate on the perspectives of students. To address this gap, this study explores how academics at one school and in one department at a university in Masvingo province of Zimbabwe were teaching their students, the challenges they were encountering and the opportunities that were presenting themselves. The researchers adopted a qualitative research design, using a case study methodology, with a sample of eighteen (18) purposively selected participants (lecturers). The study used semi-structured interviews to collect data, using WhatsApp because of the imposed lockdown restrictions. Findings reveal that lecturers at this university were using only a few communication applications to teach their students. They cite challenges of the cost of connectivity as well as lack of administrative support as impediments to e learning and teaching. They however highlight training in e-learning technologies and provision of data as opportunities that have arisen.

Abstract BackgroundPrior to the COVID-19 outbreak, the adoption of teleconsultation for outpatient neurology services was limited. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, many outpatient neurology services have rapidly switched to teleconsultation worldwide. However, it remains unclear how this change has impacted patients' and clinicians' perceptions of service quality. The purpose of this scoping review is to identify process factors that influence patients' and clinicians' experiences of outpatient teleconsultation services during COVID-19.MethodsArksey and O’Malley scoping review framework was used to search PubMed, Scopus, CINAHL, and PsycInfo for original peer-reviewed research studies that examined the experiences of synchronous teleconsultation between a clinician and patient in a home-setting since the World Health organization announced the COVID-19 global pandemic. The service quality model SERVQUAL was used to conduct a deductive thematic analysis to identify the key factors that impacted the patients’ and clinicians’’ perception of teleconsultation services. Results A total of nineteen studies published between January 1, 2020, and April 17, 2021, were identified. The most common service process factors affecting the patients' and clinicians' experiences of teleconsultation were technical issues, addressing logistical needs, communication, ability to perform clinical activities, appropriate triage, and administrative support. Conclusions Our findings identified six key service process factors affecting the patients' and clinicians' teleconsultation experiences in outpatient neurology services. The need for a new triage system and standardizing administrative virtual care workflow are identified as important steps to improve patients and clinicians’ teleconsultation experiences compared to pre-COVID. More research is needed to assess outpatient neurology teleconsultation service quality from patients' and clinicians' perspectives.

Cardiac rehabilitation services are mostly underutilized despite the documentation of substantial morbidity and mortality benefits of cardiac rehabilitation post-acute myocardial infarction. To assess the implementation rate and barriers to cardiac rehabilitation in hospitals dealing with acute myocardial infarction in South Korea, between May and July 2016, questionnaires were emailed to cardiology directors of 93 hospitals in South Korea; all hospitals were certified institutes for coronary interventions. The questionnaires included 16 questions on the hospital type, cardiology practice, and implementation of cardiac rehabilitation. The obtained data were categorized into two groups based on the type of the hospital (secondary or tertiary) and statistically analysed. Of the 72 hospitals that responded (response rate of 77%), 39 (54%) were tertiary medical centers and 33 (46%) were secondary medical centers. All hospitals treated acute myocardial infarction patients and performed emergency percutaneous coronary intervention; 79% (57/72) of the hospitals performed coronary artery bypass grafting. However, the rate of implementation of cardiac rehabilitation was low overall (28%, 20/72 hospitals) and even lower in secondary medical centers (12%, 4/33 hospitals) than in tertiary centers (41%, 16/39 hospitals, p = 0.002). The major barriers to cardiac rehabilitation included the lack of staff (59%) and lack of space (33%). In contrast to the wide availability of acute-phase invasive treatment for AMI, the overall implementation of cardiac rehabilitation is extremely poor in South Korea. Considering the established benefits of cardiac rehabilitation in patients with acute myocardial infarction, more administrative support, such as increasing the fee for cardiac rehabilitation services by an appropriate level of health insurance coverage should be warranted.

Abstract Nursing home social workers (NH SW) at the frontline during COVID-19 are faced with many challenges in meeting the psychosocial needs of residents while balancing their own well-being needs. In order to explore the experiences of NH SW during COVID-19, the study utilized a cross-sectional survey distributed to social media sites (e.g., Reddit, Facebook) and professional networks. The survey asked participants (N = 63) open-ended questions which were analyzed using the rigorous and accelerated data reduction (RADaR) method. Themes suggested that fear for self, lack of administrative support, and overall stress were notable concerns among NH SW. Findings also suggested that support from family/friends and self-care were most personally helpful to NH SW. Lastly, themes related to coping strategies included talking with co-workers, mindfulness, and boundary setting. Findings suggest the need for increased supports for NH SW. Implications related to stress and coping during COVID-19 are offered.
