People recognized the importance of communication from Wenchuan earthquake in 2008, which could help rescue team to protect the life and property of the people without delay, at the same time reduce the loss caused by earthquake. According to the feature of emergence rescue in earthquake and requirement on communication of fire army, this paper set forth the application standards and modes of wireless communicating technology in the scene of earthquake rescue, which included wireless short-wave and satellite communication.

Abstract With the rapid economic development, the urban space environment is becoming more and more complex, various accidents and disasters occur frequently, and safety risks are increasing. The rescue tasks involved in the fire brigade are showing a trend of diversification and complexity. The fire rescue team always puts the people first and insists on serving the people wholeheartedly. It is the guardian of maintaining social stability in our country and safeguarding the health and safety of people’s lives and property and various disaster affairs. The society needs the participation in the fire rescue team. Aiming at the fire rescue problem, this paper uses the fire rescue call data onto 2016 to 2019 to predict the number of fire rescues / rescued calls based on the difference equation to improve the rescue efficiency of the fire brigade. Taking into account the impact on the domestic epidemiced in 2020 on people’s lives, the adjustment value was introduced to adjust part of the alarm data onto 2020 to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the data. Finally, the second-order difference equation is used to predict the alarm data onto 2021 through the least square method, which verifies the accuracy of the model.

Does Wi-Fi, the Internet, the mobile phone, satellite communication, the I-Pod, flat screen television, wireless devices, Skype, Face Book, Twitter, virtual communities, laptops, Kindle, alter a sense of place and attachment? This area of exploration is absent not only in the areas of urban planning and design, but also other types of places such as schools and even the home where communication technologies are especially varied and proliferate. This chapter will propose a taxonomy of the relationship of people to places in a media rich environment suggesting a continuum ranging from place attachment through a sense of a-location. The taxonomy offers a classification system clarifying the need to examine the impact of media technologies on the people/environment relationship. This reflects not only how people’s use of space and place have changed as a result of the proliferation of laptops and I-phones, but also what this means in terms of how they connect or disconnect with their physical surroundings.

<p>The high demand of automobiles has also increased the traffic hazards and the road accidents. Life of the people is under high risk. This is because of the lack of best emergency facilities available in our country. An automatic alarm device for vehicle accidents is introduced in this paper. This design is a system which can detect accidents in significantly less time and sends the basic information to first aid centre within a few seconds covering geographical coordinates, the time and angle in which a vehicle accident had occurred. This alert message is sent to the rescue team in a short time, which will help in saving the valuable lives. A Switch is also provided in order to terminate the sending of a message in rare case where there is no casualty, this can save the precious time of the medical rescue team. When the accident occurs the alert message is sent automatically to the rescue team and to the police station. The message is sent through the GSM module and the location of the accident is detected with the help of the GPS module. </p>

AbstractIt has been argued that Tan Zuoren's essay ‘Longmen Mountain, please bear witness for the children of Beichuan’ is not only an attempt to narrate an alternative version of the story of the Wenchuan earthquake but also to present a vision of an alternative future for Chinese society. The building blocks for this alternative future would be finding a balance between human beings and nature, respect for minorities, and responsible rule. Tan does not demand the end of Communist Party rule, but explains how the system could be changed to make it better for both the people and nature. The keys to achieving this goal are rectifying historical injustices, an honest examination of mistakes, and respect for ordinary people.

The unique 70-cm meniscus-type telescope of the Abastumani Astrophysical Observatory supplied with two objective prisms and the seeing conditions characteristic at Mount Kanobili (Abastumani) permit us to obtain stellar spectra of a high quality. No additional design to improve the “climate” immediately around the telescope itself is being applied. The dispersions and photographic magnitude limits are 160 and 660Å/mm, and 12–13, respectively. The short-wave end of spectra reaches 3500–3400Å.
