Abstract This work considers one of the approaches to the solution of the task of discrete speech signal automatic segmentation. The aim of this work is to construct such an algorithm which should meet the following requirements: segmentation of a signal into acoustically homogeneous segments, high accuracy and segmentation speed, unambiguity and reproducibility of segmentation results, lack of necessity of preliminary training with the use of a special set consisting of manually segmented signals. Development of the algorithm which corresponds to the given requirements was conditioned by the necessity of formation of automatically segmented speech databases that have a large volume. One of the new approaches to the solution of this task is viewed in this article. For this purpose we use the new type of informative features named TAC-coefficients (Throat-Acoustic Correlation coefficients) which provide sufficient segmentation accuracy and effi- ciency.

The paper shows an idea of a new type of mechanical gear — the eccentric rolling transmission. The main parts of that transmission are rolling bearings, mounted eccentrically on the input shaft which cooperate with the special-shaped cam wheels mounted on the output shaft. The number of rolling bearings is equal to the number of cam wheels. On the basis of kinematic analysis equations of the curve which describe a shape of cam wheels were determined for two different cases: in the first one the directions of shafts rotations were opposite, and in the second they were the same. Kinematic analysis of the novel transmission was carried out to determine maximum gear ratio depending on the adopted input parameters. As a result of analyses a design procedure of the eccentric rolling transmission and CAD model were prepared.

We use interpolation to obtain a common fixed point result for a new type of Ćirić–Reich–Rus-type contraction mappings in metric space. We also introduce a new concept of g-interpolative Ćirić–Reich–Rus-type contractions in b-metric spaces, and we prove some fixed point results for such mappings. Our results extend and improve some results on the fixed point theory in the literature. We also give some examples to illustrate the given results.

Based on the screw theory, the force analysis of the 3-RPS parallel machine is illuminated. Been equivalent to a 6-chain parallel machine, the deformation harmony equation of the parallel machine under the outside generalized force is interpreted. The instantaneous stiffness model of the parallel machine, which includes the change of the force Jacobian matrix, is established. Considering the deviation of the position and orientation of the moving platform, which is resulted from the distortion of the PRS chains of the parallel machine, the influence of the change of the Jacobian matrix to the instantaneous stiffness model of the 3-RPS parallel machine is analyzed, and furthermore, it is verified with an instance.

The notion of (unbounded)C*-seminorms plays a relevant role in the representation theory of*-algebras and partial*-algebras. A rather complete analysis of the case of*-algebras has given rise to a series of interesting concepts like that of semifiniteC*-seminorm and spectralC*-seminorm that give information on the properties of*-representations of the given*-algebraAand also on the structure of the*-algebra itself, in particular whenAis endowed with a locally convex topology. Some of these results extend to partial*-algebras too. The state of the art on this topic is reviewed in this paper, where the possibility of constructing unboundedC*-seminorms from certain families of positive sesquilinear forms, called biweights, on a (partial)*-algebraAis also discussed.

For a novel 3SPS+1PS parallel manipulator with 4 degrees of freedom including three rotations and one translation, the formulae for solving the inverse kinematics equations are derived based on quaternion method. Unit quaternion is used to represent the position and orientation of moving platform, and the singularities caused by Euler angles are avoided. Combining the topological structure characteristics of the parallel manipulator, it only has three rotations when its moving platform is at a given translation position. Based on the inverse position/pose equations and the all the constraints of the parallel manipulator, the discrete algorithm for the orientation workspaces of 3SPS+1PS parallel manipulator where the moving platform is at some different given translation positions are designed. The research builds the theoretical basis for optimizing the orientation workspace with given position.

We study the problem of constructing systems of hyperbolic conservation laws in one space dimension with prescribed eigencurves, i.e. the eigenvector fields of the Jacobian of the flux are given. We formulate this as a typically overdetermined system of equations for the eigenvalues-to-be. Equivalent formulations in terms of differential and algebraic-differential equations are considered. The resulting equations are then analyzed using appropriate integrability theorems (Frobenius, Darboux and Cartan–Kähler). We give a complete analysis of the possible scenarios, including examples, for systems of three equations. As an application we characterize conservative systems with the same eigencurves as the Euler system for 1-dimensional compressible gas dynamics. The case of general rich systems of any size (i.e. when the given eigenvector fields are pairwise in involution; this includes all systems of two equations) is completely resolved and we consider various examples in this class.

The purpose of the given work is consideration and working off of approaches, techniques, schemes of realisation of modelling of the vehicle on simulators on the basis of a choice of more perfect models of movement, fluctuations, roadability of the vehicle in package Matlab/Simulink for reception and an estimation of parametres of the vehicle, it loading. Features of imitating modelling of the vehicle on a simulator, requirements to it, using methods of such modelling on the basis of computer models, hydropulsators and a moving platform with the monitors/projectors, simulating road conditions where reactions to it of the driver, movements essentially influencing modes and loading the vehicle with the further use of the received data at bench tests are considered are considered. Mathematical models of the tyre, movement, fluctuations, the roadabilities of the vehicle providing more correct modelling in real time are developed.New approaches and technique in realisation of imitating modelling of movement, roadability and loading the vehicle, based on combined use of the powerful computer and minicomputer Raspberry for reading of parametres of controls, steering of visualisation of road conditions, module S-Function Builder created ON on С/C++ both an incorporated file longinal profile and a microprofile of real road, the information interchange organisation through three general files on SD disk Raspberry with certain periodicity (5 Hz) are offered, the block diagramme in Matlab/Simulink and is developed software. By the spent modelling of the vehicle 6х6 with ma = 21200 kg it is established that it has fuel consumption of km of 63,56 l/100, average speed of 66,1 km/h and number of switchings of a check point 7 (at t> 10 c). And basically check point switching occurs on last 3 higher drives.
