Man-machine interface (Human Machine Interface, HMI) is known as the man-machine interface, which is the transmission of information between human and computer media. And it plays an important role in computer system design. Man-machine interface as an independent field of study is pay attention to the world widely. From the perspective of the development of computer technology, man-machine interface guide the development of the related hardware and software.

The Army currently is evaluating the feasibility of single-crewmember operation of a multipurpose, lightweight helicopter, designated the LHX. To determine if a single operator can perform the LHX scout and attack missions, 29 mission segments were analyzed for excessive workload. The mission segments were divided into flight control, support, and mission functions; the functions were divided into performance elements (tasks) and were positioned on mission segment timelines. For each performance element, the man-machine interface was identified and estimates of the visual, auditory, cognitive, and psychomotor components of workload were assigned. The mission/task/workload data were used to build one- and two-crewmember computer models designed to predict total workload and to identify overloads in each mission segment. Two baseline analyses were conducted to predict workload under low-automation conditions for one- and two-crewmember LHX configurations. In addition, iterative analyses were conducted to predict the reduction in workload associated with each of 26 individual automation options and 16 combinations of options. The methodology provides a systematic means of predicting human operator workload in advance of system design.

The new era of computing is internet of things (IoT). Internet of things (IoT) represents the ability of network devices to sense and collect data from around the world and then share that data across the internet where it can be processed and utilize for different converging systems. Most of the organisation and industries needs up-to-date data and information about the hardware machines. In most industries, HMI (human-machine interface) is used mostly for connecting the hardware devices. In many manufacturing industries, HMI is the only way to access information about the configuration and performance of machine. It is difficult to take the history of data or data analysis of HMI automatically. HMI is used once per machine which is quite hard to handle. Due to frequent use of HMI, it leads to loss of time, high costs, and fragility, and it needs to be replaced, which was found to be costlier. An internet of things (IOT) is a good platform where all the machines in the industry are able to be handled from a single IoT-based web portal.

HMI (Human-machine Interface) is the media of communication between human and the computer system; designers should not only consider the completeness of its functions in the design of software products, but also human factors. It is necessary for the software products to meet the functional requirements of users, besides; a friendly interface is also needed to improve customers’ satisfaction while improving users’ productivity. This paper discusses the principles and specific method of designing a user-centered human-machine interface and then applies the method in the design of the mounter’s interface so as to test the method put forward in the paper.

We build out a very vivid and real conditions environment based on the virtual reality of a simulation computer technology, so that users can be in a virtual environment through the man-machine interface with a virtual environment direct interaction. This paper studies 3d virtual model development and integration including the system design to realize the functions and systems integration. In its implementation, we use the model tool, 3 D R C to structure three-dimensional model, and the model tool, and finally we use virtools tool to achieve a three-dimensional with the establishment of virtual scene model. Virtual reality (virtual reality, VR) is a computer senior man-machine interface on the basic feature of absorbion, interactiveness and constructiveness [1,2]. Specifically, virtual reality is a computer that creates the stereoscopic spaces, and users can interact space objects in the interaction and watch the operation of some part of the objects in space, and freely move with the users' will so that a sense of integration and participation are produced[3,4]. It is used in computer technology at the core of modern high technology ,which means to build a realistic view, hear and touch the integration of a virtual environment with the necessary equipment and a virtual environment of the interaction and mutual influence, which results in the "immersion" be true of the environment and feel[5-7]. VR technology is computer technology, computer graphics, computer simulations visual and technical, visual physiology, psychology, the microelectronics visual display technique, solid technology, sensing to measure the technical, technological, information technology, and voice recognition software engineering and technology, integrated man-machine the skill interfacing, and network technology and artificial intelligence technology and the achievement of other high technology. Since the birth of a virtual reality technology, it has the huge economy, military and the internet, multimedia minded race in many areas in the application of technology in the 21st century as the three-big technologies.
