For the traditional RAID technology, the single controller controls all the disks, once it fails, and it can easily lead to paralysis of the entire storage system, this paper proposes an approach which is the information dispersed storage system architecture model based on the RAIC. The RAIC storage system uses the scattered information and the cloud storage technology, thus it increases the overall storage system reliability, availability and security.

This paper introduces the client design based on Android mobile sync of cloud storage system, including system architecture and its module design. Through the Android mobile sync client software, user can access the cloud server to implement some functions, such as upload and download, data backup and restore, file management and sharing in the distance. Under the LAN environment, the client system has successfully completed the tests of both function module and assembly verification. The results show that the whole system runs in good condition.

At the rate data related to crop germplasm resources is growing rapidly, it's not surprising that the study of new storage technology is also growing in popularity. Cloud storage, due to its own advantages including cost, frequency of access, protection, and availability, has been one of the hot buzzwords of the past couple of years. Based on the analysis of the definition and characters of cloud storage, and combined with the characteristics of crop germplasm resources data and databases, this paper discussed the internal cloud storage architecture for crop germplasm resources data, detailed the level of structure diagram, access methods, storage scalability and availability. The study on the new storage architecture gives the model for building easy extension, management and safety of crop germplasm resources data storage system.

Scalability is one of the most important indicators to for performance of cloud storage system. In this paper, firstly, we pointed out limitations of three classical scalability evaluation methods with conditions of iso-speed, iso-efficiency and iso-ratio of parallel overhead to computation, when describing scalability. Then, we proposed a new scalability evaluation model which was suitable for cloud storage environment and named as EP scalability model. The EP scalability model directly reflected the performance of cloud storage system when the system scale and storage tasks expand.

We introduce the Concept→Model→Graph→View Cycle (CMGVC). The CMGVC facilitates coherent architecture analysis, reasoning, insight, and decision making based on conceptual models that are transformed into a generic, robust graph data structure (GDS). The GDS is then transformed into multiple views of the model, which inform stakeholders in various ways. This GDS-based approach decouples the view from the model and constitutes a powerful enhancement of model-based systems engineering (MBSE). The CMGVC applies the rigorous foundations of Category Theory, a mathematical framework of representations and transformations. We show that modeling languages are categories, drawing an analogy to programming languages. The CMGVC architecture is superior to direct transformations and language-coupled common representations. We demonstrate the CMGVC to transform a conceptual system architecture model built with the Object Process Modeling Language (OPM) into dual graphs and a stakeholder-informing matrix that stimulates system architecture insight.
