Longxi Tower is the first time shift of pagoda relics in China. All the following factors increase the difficulty of the shift: long years’ construction, serious aging of its structure, poor integrity, small base area and great height. In the process, we used steel initiative urging support system and reinforced concrete protective tube for Longxi Tower’s reinforcement protection, so as to form a stable entirety. Compared to no protection measures, overturn-preventing calculations and further reinforce protection measures improved the safety factor 6.0 times, thus greatly improving the overturn-preventing ability of Longxi Tower.

Abstract A large number of infrastructural concrete buildings are protected against aggressive environments by coating systems. The functionality of these coating systems is mainly affected by the composition and thickness of the individual polymeric layers. For the first time ever, a mobile nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) sensor allows a non-destructive determination of these important parameters on the building site. However, before this technique can be used on steel-reinforced concrete elements, the potential effect of the reinforcement on the measurement, i.e. the NMR signal, needs to be studied. The results show a shift of the NMR profile as well as an increase of the signals amplitude in the case of the reinforced samples, while calculating the thickness of concrete coating leading to identical results.

The bearing capacities of one-way reinforced concrete beams with elastic supports are investigated in this paper. According to the nonlinear characteristics of the beams, the basic equations based on plastic theory of concrete are derived by considering the in-plane force effects that aroused by the constraints of supports when the beams deforming. It is indicated that the calculation results are in good agreement with experimental datum, and the influences of different supports on the bearing capacities of the beams are quantitatively given for the first time.

The work provides data on the dynamics of the abundance of 205 taxa from 19 genera: Cleptes, Colpopyga, Elampus, Omalus, Philoctetes, Pseudomalus, Hedychridium, Hedychrum, Holopyga, Chrysidea, Chrysis, Euchroeus, Chrysura, Pseudochrysis, Spinolia, Spinolia, including species rare and new for the fauna of the North Caucasus and Russia. By the nature of the population dynamics, five groups of cuckoo wasps were identified: spring – represented by 7 species from 4 genera; spring-summer – 76 species from 10 genera; summer – 113 species from 16 genera; summer-autumn – 4 species from 2 genera and spring-summer-autumn – 5 species from 3 genus. According to the duration of flight, eurychronous species of cuckoo wasps were identified, which are found throughout the season from spring to autumn; mesochronous – the years of which affect the end of May and summer months and stenochronous – confined to a short period of time. Eurychronic accounted for 2.4%, mesochronous 24.9%, stenochronic 72.7%. The number of generations of cuckoo wasps is related to the dynamics of the number of the host. In the mountains, the peaks of activity shift towards the middle of summer, most species have one peak of activity; due to the frequent changes in weather conditions in the mountains, the phenological characteristics of the cuckoo wasps and their hosts do not coincide in terms with the lowland populations and the periods of activity can be extended in time. Phenological characteristics of rare and new species for the fauna of the North Caucasus and Russia are presented for the first time. The data obtained expand the understanding of the biodiversity and dynamics of the abundance of cuckoo wasps in the North Caucasus and can be used for environmental protection measures and rational nature management in the south of Russia.

In order to study the antibreaking effect of the fiber reinforced concrete lining in the tunnel, this paper takes the a subway tunnel engineering project in F2-3 section of Jiujiawan fault as the research background and carries out the antibreaking model test of the fiber reinforced concrete lining in the active fault zone of high earthquake intensity. The results show that the antibreaking effect of the principle stress and the longitudinal strain of the fiber reinforced concrete lining are 30%∼40% and 80%∼90%, respectively, and the minimum value of the structural safety factor is increased by 4∼5 times. The antibreaking effect of hybrid fiber reinforced concrete lining is better than that of steel fiber reinforced concrete lining. The safety of steel polypropylene hybrid fiber reinforced concrete tunnel lining is the highest, and its minimum structural safety factor is 1.62. In the aspect of improving the antibreaking effect of the tunnel, the toughening effect of fiber reinforced concrete is stronger than that of reinforcing. The research results are of great significance to improve the antibreaking effect of tunnels in active fault areas with high earthquake intensity.

The durability of coastal area bridge structures is more prominent, first, the understanding of the durability of the concrete is insufficient before, and the corresponding measures has not taken; Second, accelerating deterioration of the reinforced concrete is due to the environment and climate factors. Experience has shown that both home and abroad: Starting from the design, take preventive protection measures is effective means to improve the durability of reinforced concrete bridge, then it can get twice the result with half the effort. Based on the Tangshan Coastal Highway construction, considering of the leve of the engineering environmental and so on, on the basis of the service life of the bridge design, the durability of concrete structure would be studied.

The paper presents the results of FEM computer analysis regarding cracking of the wall prefabricated element. The proprietary coating model of the Wk-70 System large-panel building construction was used. For analysis, a construction diaphragm has been separated that is integrally connected to the vertical communication structure. Modeled through the scratch in the attic wall and compared with the wall model without damage. By building the shell model, a real and transparent picture of the static work of the structure was obtained, distinguishing zones: focus, redistribution, compensation and neutralization of stresses, whose genesis results from imperfection - scratches in a reinforced concrete composite. For the first time, the author introduces his own method of assessing the safety status of large-panel buildings - by the States Continuum Method.

Purpose. Analyze the effect of degradation rate on estimation of a remaining lifetime of Ukrainian highway bridges. Methods. Theoretical research. Results. The significant effect of degradation rate on the estimation of a remaining lifetime as the only control parameter of the Markov prediction model is proved. Originality. For the first time, the prediction error range of a remaining lifetime have been set at a constant natural rate of degradation. Practical value. The obtained results are a practical tool for managing the reliability and resource of reinforced concrete highway bridges.
