Vehicle handling and stability is a most important part of active vehicle safety. ISO standards on passenger vehicle dynamic test are analyzed. A corresponding set of road test system is established by introducing steering robot. And several export certification tests of ISO standards have been accomplished for Chinese independent brand automakers. The test data and characteristic figures are presented for a vehicle which shows good circular driving behaviour, steady transient response behaviour and road-holding ability and lateral stability according to ISO standards.

Vehicle handling and stability has effect on positive safety of automotive directly. Test system of handling and stability is built for its road test and the test variables signal can be acquired and stored synchronously. Based on MATLAB GUI, software is developed for the test data processing, so that the stored data is to be analyzed and handling and stability test result is given by the software automatically. Using the test system in paper, handling and stability road test of one domestic sedan is fulfilled and scored, which verifies the applicability of the test system and scoring software in paper.

This paper focuses on two integration algorithms used for pseudo-dynamic test, explicit Newmark algorithm and implicit alpha-C algorithm. The comparison study between the test and simulation results shows that: the non-uniform distribution of mass, restoring force characteristics and higher frequency vibration modality are simulated more accurately using the alpha-C algorithm than using explicit Newmark algorithm. The alpha-C algorithm also leads to high iterative accuracy and unconditional stability. Replacing the explicit Newmark algorithm in original experimental system by implicit alpha-C algorithm, the MDOF pseudo dynamic test system can be realized successfully.

With the popularization of passenger vehicle safety devices such as safety belt, airbag and so on, the chance that occupant’s upper limbs were injured seriously was decreased significantly in frontal impact. However, the injury of occupant’s lower limbs became more and more severe, especially on lower leg injury. 37 groups of test data of China NCAP crash tests including full-frontal rigid crash and 40% offset deformable barrier crash were investigated in this paper, and lower leg injury distributing characteristic of drivers and passengers in these two kinds of crash configurations were obtained. Finally the effect rules of characteristic parameters on lower leg injury were summarized.

Current OTS (Online Test System, OTS) of airborne electrical equipments in the environments of mechanics is only able to test statically but dynamically. To solve the problem, a new kind of dynamic test system based on PXI bus is designed. In the design, modular instrument resources that used in the third generation of ATE (Auto Test System, ATE) commonly is adopted to prove the system’s reusability, extensibility and standard ability, digital signal acquisition is replaced with analog signal acquisition to realize dynamic test, support from the method of process monitoring is drew to get the capability to detect the reversible failure in UUT (Unit Under Test, UTT), VC++ language is used as the software development tool to control the system and record test data. In the special mechanics environment such as centrifuge, drawing lessons from the experience of the new concept dynamic test, the system architecture of remote control acquisition is used to prove the stability and efficiency of the test system greatly. The experimental result shows that the system runs well and has more advantages such as high efficiency of auto-test and reliability of failure diagnosis results, meeting new demand of the airborne electrical equipments’ online test in the environments of mechanics.

In situ leaching was a very important technical approach in ion-adsorption rare earth mining, because it can effectively avoid the geological hazards, protect the environment, and reduce the mining costs. The critical issue of this mining technique was to increase the permeability of ion-adsorption rare earth deposits. Due to the close relationship between the permeability and the porosity, in this paper, several experiments were conducted to find the dynamic characteristics of the granite deposit and the relationship between the dynamic characteristics and the porosity. Moreover, the SHPB test system was equipped to conduct the dynamic test, and the ultrasonic wave detector with high precision was employed to obtain the damage factor of granites. The test results showed that the failure mode under dynamic load and static load was close, and they both had splitting failure. Besides, when cyclic dynamic loading velocity was between 5.8 m/s and 8.4 m/s, the specimen was not a failure, but it caused the damage and changed the porosity. And the dynamic thresholds of failure stress and damage stress were found. Finally, a linear relationship between the porosity and the damage factor was found, which would help to analyze and predict the change of porosity under different dynamic loading velocities.
