The research is aiming at obtaining understanding and assurance whether the regulation of Indonesia Financial Services Authority (orOtoritas Jasa Keuangan/OJK) for banking industry on Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC) in Indonesia are compatible with the requirements and suggested practices of ISO 37000/DIS on Governance, ISO 31000:2018 Risk Management, and ISO 37301: Compliance Management as international standards for Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC). The regulatory requirements as set forth by Indonesian FSA to banking industry for integrated GRC have all been compatible with all the elements of ISO 37000, ISO 31000:2018, and ISO 37301. This study utilizes a comparative study method, which is conducted by assessing the similarities and differences between two standards or regulations, or in this study, between Indonesia Financial Services Authority Regulation, or Peraturan Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (POJK) on Governance, Risk Management and Compliance (GRC), with their ISO Standards counterparts. The result is expected to show the degree of fitness of Indonesian banking regulations with these ISO standards. There is only a very small number of studies have been done in the light of calibrating the Indonesian banking regulation in Governance, Risk Management and Compliance (GRC) with their ISO counterparts. Therefore, the result of this paper could be used as generic inputs and considerations for banks which have initiated their integrated GRC practices, and/or just recently commenced, and/or improving their practices more effectively. Whereas the study provides general understanding and assurance of the compatibility, it is not supported yet by empirical evidence of how banks practically exercise the implementation of integrated GRC based on ISO 37000, ISO 31000, and ISO 37301 and how do they conduct calibration efforts to its efficacy. Therefore, it is recommended to conduct such empirical case study in several banks in Indonesia as further study. Further, a field study such as interviews and surveys with Indonesian banking professionals could also be performed to provide additional perspectives on how integrated GRC is implemented in Indonesian banking.

The purpose of this paper is to identify key limitations of the implementation of ISO 9001:2015 standard, their correlations, as well as the connection with the problems that companies face. The paper in literature review used the research papers of other researchers related to the limitations of the implementation of ISO standards. In order to realize the purpose of the research, empirical research was conducted. The research was realized by the method of a survey questionnaire, on the sample of 12 respondents, experts of consulting companies for the implementation of standards and lead auditors of accredited certification bodies for the implementation of ISO standards in Serbia. Using this approach based on external source ensures a certain level of objectivity. Also, the experience of the respondents based on the implementation of a process approach and certification of various organizations provides the necessary credibility and quality of the research itself. The paper identifies 12 limitations of implementation ISO 9001.The results of the research show that non-material limitations are the dominant obstacle to the implementation of ISO 9001:2015. Also, those limitations are positively correlated with each other, so they can cause multiple problems for companies in fulfilling the requirements of ISO standards.

In the gravimetric volume measurement method, the factor Z is generally used to facilitate an easy conversion from the apparent mass obtained using a balance to the liquid volume. The uncertainty of the measurement used for the liquid volume can be divided into two specific contributions: one from the components related to the mass measurements and one from those related to the mass-to-volume conversion. However, some ISO standards and calibration guides have suggested that the uncertainty due to the factor Z is generally neglected in the uncertainty calculation pertaining to gravimetric volume measurement. This paper describes the combined effects of the density of the water, the density of the reference weights, and the air buoyancy on the uncertainty of factor Z in terms of how they subsequently affect the uncertainty of the measurement results.

The aim of the research is to study the possibility of replacing Korean-made talc with inexpensive talc from an Afghan deposit, processed in Uzbekistan and used for the production of polypropylene compounds. In the future, these compounds are used for the manufacture of plastic car parts. A block copolymer produced by Uz Kor Gaz Chemical was chosen as a binder. For this, the influence of the content and type of talc on the properties of a compound based on an ethylene-propylene copolymer was studied. The properties of the obtained compounds checked using ISO standards. The fractional composition of the studied types of talc, strength, thermophysical, gravimetric properties of compounds with different concentrations of talc were studied. The results of studies of these properties of compounds based on ethylene-polypropylene copolymers modified with various types of talc filler revealed the possibility of obtaining materials with specified properties based on Afghan talc,

The article deals with the estimation of information quality (IQ) in information and communication technologies (ICT) systems. A number of recent publications were analyzed, as well as ISO standards concerning quality and information quality. Due to the limitations of the known methods of estimating IQ, the authors present their own proprietary concept based on multidimensional and multi-layer modeling using methods of estimating uncertainty. The modeling proposed in this publication uses sixteen dimensions of quality known from the literature. The features of dimensions are taken into account as another layer and information states as successive steps in the IQ model. An example of calculations is also presented in which the mathematical evidence method used in estimating the uncertainty is extended to the modeling of dependent elements. The article also presents a simulation based on the presented example. This simulation shows the assumed dependencies between the output and input values.

ObjectivesTo evaluate the performance of direct-to-consumer pulse oximeters under clinical conditions, with arterial blood gas measurement (SaO2) as reference standard.DesignCross-sectional, validation study.SettingIntensive care.ParticipantsAdult patients requiring SaO2-monitoring.InterventionsThe studied oximeters are top-selling in Europe/USA (AFAC FS10D, AGPTEK FS10C, ANAPULSE ANP 100, Cocobear, Contec CMS50D1, HYLOGY MD-H37, Mommed YM101, PRCMISEMED F4PRO, PULOX PO-200 and Zacurate Pro Series 500 DL). Directly after collection of a SaO2 blood sample, we obtained pulse oximeter readings (SpO2). SpO2-readings were performed in rotating order, blinded for SaO2 and completed <10 min after blood sample collection.Outcome measuresBias (SpO2–SaO2) mean, root mean square difference (ARMS), mean absolute error (MAE) and accuracy in identifying hypoxaemia (SaO2 ≤90%). As a clinical index test, we included a hospital-grade SpO2-monitor (Philips).ResultsIn 35 consecutive patients, we obtained 2258 SpO2-readings and 234 SaO2-samples. Mean bias ranged from −0.6 to −4.8. None of the pulse oximeters met ARMS ≤3%, the requirement set by International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO)-standards and required for Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 501(k)-clearance. The MAE ranged from 2.3 to 5.1, and five out of ten pulse oximeters met the requirement of ≤3%. For hypoxaemia, negative predictive values were 98%–99%. Positive predictive values ranged from 11% to 30%. Highest accuracy (95% CI) was found for Contec CMS50D1; 91% (86–94) and Zacurate Pro Series 500 DL; 90% (85–94). The hospital-grade SpO2-monitor had an ARMS of 3.0% and MAE of 1.9, and an accuracy of 95% (91%–97%).ConclusionTop-selling, direct-to-consumer pulse oximeters can accurately rule out hypoxaemia, but do not meet ISO-standards required for FDA-clearance
