In order to achieve the information collection function of the IOT, this paper is based on Embedded-ARM system, develops a terminal node hardware platform that uses S3C2440 as the core, and the hardware platform contains power supply module, processing and storage module, display and operation module, wireless communication module etc. Software platform uses Embedded Linux operating system, we transplant and produce boot loader, device drivers, the root file system, etc. On the platform of embedded system, we add MCU module, MCU module, Barcode scanning module, temperature and humidity module as the main information collection module, to realize the basic function of information collection of the IOT.

The paper analyzes the geometric characteristics of seeds, uniformity and cross - sectional area of rapeseed, on the basis of which the equivalent diameter was calculated. Knowing the dimensions of seeds is important in seed production from sowing, harvesting, processing, and storage, to seed packaging. Manual determination of the dimensions of seeds is a rather slow process, so the aim of this work was to show a computer-aided device that contains a camera and can take seed samples, while determining the dimensions of seeds by program image analysis. Presented device is realized in accordance with the concept of the Internet of Things (IoT) so it has the ability to connect to the Internet and forward the image, or in another variant can directly perform the image analysis and further forward the results only. The purpose of the presented system for determining the size of seeds is providing a fast and efficient way for users to get the first results that will help them in the implementation of further activities related to working with small seeds.

Dramatical changes in society’s infrastructure require new conceptual approaches towards the research of socioeconomic phenomena. Nowadays, environment surrounding people experience qualitative changes; it has become possible to use full information on the history of objects. It is essential to develop a conceptual framework enabling to thoroughly describe the interaction of an individual and a socioeconomic environment that is changed by digital technologies. In this article, it is suggested to use the concept of socioeconomic technology in the context of exploration of digitalization processes. These include the Internet of things, big data processing, widespread implementation of personal tools to process and share information etc. The concept of socioeconomic technology allows tying up new technologies with the needs of an individual and society as well as with phenomena emerging in socioeconomic infrastructure. The suggested approach may be used at the development and implementation of the Internet of things, of global communication infrastructure, of technologies for processing and storage of data, and for the research of other aspects of society’s digitalization. Today it is possible to research different directions for the development of consumption sphere and technologies taking into account the emergence of virtual properties of objects. Virtual properties result for example in multiple ways to implement things, in the possibility to store and use the full history of major objects surrounding an individual. Conceptual framework suggested in this article allows holistically addressing the issues of commercial efficiency and socioeconomic management in the age of digitalization.

The current microbiological regulatory criteria in the European Union specify a maximum Listeria monocytogenes population of 100 CFU/g allowable in ready-to-eat foods provided the product will not exceed this limit throughout its shelf life. The aim of this study was to validate the manufacturing method for traditional Greek Graviera cheese produced from thermized milk. Initial challenge experiments evaluated the fate of inoculated L. monocytogenes (ca. 4 log CFU/ml, three-strain cocktail) in thermized Graviera cheese milk (TGCM; 63°C for 30 s) in the presence and absence of a product-specific starter culture (SC) in vitro. Milk samples were incubated for 6 h at 37°C and then for 66 h at 18°C. Experiments were conducted to evaluate the fate of a cocktail of three nonpathogenic L. monocytogenes and L. innocua indicator strains inoculated (ca. 3 log CFU/g) in Graviera cheeses commercially manufactured from TGCM+SC. Cheeses were brined, ripened at 18°C and 90% relative humidity for 20 days, and stored at 4°C for up to day 60 under vacuum. In TGCM, L. monocytogenes increased by ca. 2 log units, whereas in TGCM+SC L. monocytogenes growth was retarded (P < 0.05) after a ca. 1-log increase within 6 h at 37°C. Populations of Listeria indicator strains did not grow in TGCM+SC cheeses at any stage; they declined 10-fold in fresh cheeses within 5 days and then survived with little death thereafter. Thus, growth inhibition but not inactivation of potent natural Listeria contaminants at levels below 100 CFU/g occurs in the core of traditional Greek Graviera cheese during fermentation, ripening, and storage.

The present paper investigates the problem of mechanisms of the development of the effect of mental set, which is at the core of the processes of the implicit learning, development of the experience and solving creative tasks. As such mechanisms we investigate the change of the parameters of functioning of executive control and working memory subsystems. As a result of an experimental study, based on modified tasks by A. Luchins, it was found that mechanisms of the development of the effect of mental set have a systematic nature and include such factors as the change of the parameters of the executive functions and the specifics of the processing and storage of information in modality-specific blocks of the working memory. The role of the executive control is dual: it is necessary for keeping in the sphere of the attention the operations during their automatization, and at the same it, it makes the automatized scheme conscient by destructing the developed effect of the mental set. The executive control plays a role of the element which sets the structure of mechanisms of the development and overcoming of the mental set effect. Processes which proceed during the information processing in working memory subsystems also play an important role in the development of the mental set effect, however their nature requires supplementary research.

The exponential growth of the Internet of Things (IoT) technology poses various challenges to the classic centralized cloud computing paradigm, including high latency, limited capacity, and network failure. Cloud computing and Fog computing carry the cloud closer to IoT computers in order to overcome these problems. Cloud and Fog provide IoT processing and storage of IoT items locally instead of sending them to the cloud. Cloud and Fog provide quicker reactions and better efficiency in conjunction with the cloud. Cloud and fog computing should also be viewed as the safest approach to ensure that IoT delivers reliable and stable resources to multiple IoT customers. This article discusses the latest in cloud and Fog computing and their convergence with IoT by stressing deployment's advantages and complexities. It also concentrates on cloud and Fog design and new IoT technologies, enhanced by utilizing the cloud and Fog model. Finally, transparent topics are addressed, along with potential testing recommendations for cloud storage and Fog computing, and IoT.

According to the actual needs of national expressway networking tolling, this paper designed a electronic toll collection system based on ZigBee and MCU technology. The communication module of the system was designed based on the Z-Stack1.4.3 of TI company, vehicles automatic identification and electronic toll collection function were implemented. The 89C54 of STC was the core of the control module, information query and voice prompt function were implemented by use of keys, LCD and ISD1700. The reliability and feasibility of system were proved by the test of onboard unit and the ZigBee communication module.
