The Internet of Things is proposed as a new boom of the internet and based on internet user extension and extended to any goods and goods, exchange of information and communication networks. Internet of thing technology application in different fields has been widely expanded and mature. Perception layer in the Internet of Things system information collection is the foundation of realization of something connected, bright sets the starting point, this article is to information through self-organization network for data transmission, to unified management of information collection module, finally achieving all the functions of Internet information collection system.

In this paper, it introduces the basic concept and key technology of the Internet of things compared to the traditional environment of information technology. It also talks about the application of Internet of things of information collection, transmission and processing technology in environmental monitoring and other environmental supervision, which will promote the development of networking technology application in the environmental regulatory. At the end, some suggestions are put forward from aspects of technology and management.

The Internet of Things (IoT) is poised to revolutionise the way we live and communicate, and the manner in which we engage with our social and natural world. In the IoT, objects such as household items, vending machines and cars have the ability to sense and share data with other things, via wireless, Bluetooth, or Radio Frequency IDentification (RFID) technology. "Smart things" have the capability to control their performance, as well as our experiences and decisions. In this exploratory paper, we overview recent developments in the IoT technology, and their relevance for criminology. Our aim is to partially fill the gap in the literature, by flagging emerging issues criminologists and social scientists ought to engage with in the future. The focus is exclusively on the IoT while other advances, such as facial recognition technology, are only lightly touched upon. This paper, thus, serves as a starting point in the conversation, as we invite scholars to join us in forecasting-if not preventing-the unwanted consequences of the "future Internet".

The internet of things (IoT) is expected to influence both architecture and infrastructure of current and future smart cities vision. Thus, the requirement and effectiveness of making cities smarter demands suitable provision of secure and efficient communication networks between IoT networking devices. Trust-based routing protocols play an important role in IoT for secure information exchange and communications between IoT networking elements. Thus, this chapter presents the foundation of trust-based protocols from social science to IoT for secure smart city environments. The chapter outlines and discusses the key ideas, notions, and theories that may help the reader to understand the current status and the possible future trends of trust-based protocols in IoT networks for smart cities. The chapter also discusses the implications, requirements, and future research challenges of trust-based protocols in IoT for smart cities.

The role of the internet of things (IoT) and cyberspace in a digital society is well recognized, and they have become tremendously popular due to certain features like the ability to ease the operational process of businesses and instant communication. Recent developments in the fields of wireless communication networks like 4G, 5G, and 6G with IoT applications have greatly benefited human welfare. Still, the rapid growth of various IoT applications focuses on automating different tasks and are trying to empower the inanimate physical objects to act without any human intervention. It has also contributed to unethical practices by hackers who use new tools and techniques to penetrate more complex or well-controlled environments and produce increased damage and even remain under the cover. The main objective of this chapter is to improve understanding of the challenges to secure future digital infrastructure while it is still evolving. In this context, a detailed review of the security-related issues, challenges, threats, and countermeasures in the IoT applications is presented.

This chapter describes proposals for organizing university programs on the internet of things (IoT) and cyber-physical systems. The final goal is to provide a structure for a basic educational course for the internet of things and related areas. This base (template) could be used both for direct training and for building other courses, including those that are more deeply specialized in selected areas. For related areas, the authors see, for example, machine-to-machine communications and data-driven cities (smart cities) development. Obviously, the internet of things skills are in high demand nowadays, and, of course, IoT models, architectures, as well as appropriate data proceedings elements should be presented in the university courses. The purpose of the described educational course is to cover information and communication technologies used in the internet of things systems and related areas. Also, the authors discuss big data and AI issues for IoT courses and highlight the importance of data engineering.

The internet of things on policy highlands is faced with pressure of talent shortage, but the majority of colleges and universities are facing that professional setting is not prominent characteristic. In addition, the Internet of things technology application in the coal industry is different with in business networking. The specialties reform of "Network engineering" is proposed in this paper, and is accordingly pilot. Experiment results show that, combining the school advantage discipline, the specialties reform based on original "Network engineering" is successful. It can effectively meet the professionals needs Internet of things in the coal industry. At the same time, it improves learning interests and employment prospects of student.

Internet of nano things (IoNT) is a new and modern part of the internet of things (IoT). Applications that operate in the field of nano scale show a new advantage in communication networks. IoNT opened the door to many applications in various fields with new features derived from the advantages of nanotechnology. In this work, a description of the IoNT during 2015-2021 was achieved, including taxonomy, architecture, motives, applications and challenges, in addition to recommendations. The architecture of the IoNT and the most important technologies used in Nano communication networks have been identified, with an indication of the advantages of each. This study, we hope, will make a contribution to this field of science, thus contributing to providing assistance to researchers in this emerging field and covering the challenges they face in this way. That would permit communication between nano-devices to be conventional, making these calibrations to be implemented in various IoNT applications. Until the IoNT system is designed without any problems in the near future, which if achieved, will provide great services, especially in medical applications and other applications.
