Accurate vibration signals are important for signal analysis in the method of analysis vibration of hydraulic support tail beam. Signal acquisition position needs multiple comparison and optimization on site. Natural characteristics analysis of the hydraulic support tail beam can offer theoretical guidance to optimize sensor installation position. In this paper, impulse hammer excitation was used to analyze the inherent property of the hydraulic support tail beam which provided useful information for setting the signal pick-up place.

With the development of technology, the total extent of global pipeline transportation is also increased. However, the traditional long-distance optical fiber prewarning system has poor real-time performance and high false alarm rate when recognizing events threatening pipeline safety. The same vibration signal would vary greatly when collected in different soil environments and this problem would reduce the signal recognition accuracy of the prewarning system. In this paper, we studied this effect theoretically and analyzed soil vibration signals under different soil conditions. Then we studied the signal acquisition problem of long-distance gas and oil pipeline prewarning system in real soil environment. Ultimately, an improved high-intelligence method was proposed for optimization. This method is based on the real application environment, which is more suitable for the recognition of optical fiber vibration signals. Through experiments, the method yielded high recognition accuracy of above 95%. The results indicate that the method can significantly improve signal acquisition and recognition and has good adaptability and real-time performance in the real soil environment.

Using wavelet transform, signal’s frequency properties of vibration induced by underground are analyzed A MATLAB program is developed in order to decompose and reconstruct acceleration signals. The law that acceleration signals change in time-spectral domain is got. Then the relations of vibration signal’s maximum acceleration, energy, frequency and spectral are discussed. In contrast to conventional Fourier Transform, wavelet analysis can provide the evolution of spectral features of a signal as this evolves in time. It is ideal for random and non-stationary signal analysis.

This paper introduces a kind of electric hot milling method for T10A tool steel and analyses its feasibility. Collect temperature signals and vibration signals in the machining process by a set of signal acquisition system. Afterwards, process these signals by using wavelet transform and wavelet packet transform, compare and analyze them in different working conditions. The results of the study indicate that through comparison between dry milling and electric hot milling, the latter can be more effectively milling tool steel, and improve the cutting tool durability.

In view of the influence of the periodic vibration to the structure of disc vibration dryer, This article analyzes the mode of vibration system of the dryer by using FEA software ANSYS, extracts the first ten order modes and gets the dynamic characteristics on the modes. The analysis of the modes and the characteristics can provide basis for the improvement of this kind of dryer.

A gear plays a crucial role in the performance of a gear box. The faults in a gear reduces the gear life and if problem arises in shaft it affects bearing. Gear box is finally affected due to these faults. Vibration signals carries information about condition of a gear box which are captured using piezoelectric accelerometer. In this paper, features are extracted and classified using K nearest neighbours (KNN) algorithms for both time and frequency domain. The effectiveness of KNN in classification of gear faults for both time and frequency domain is discussed and compared.

In this article authors show the possibillities of using the parameters of vibration signals to estimate valve clearance in internal combustion engines. The main methodological assumptions of signal analysis and their results have been presented herein. The concept of research so as to solve the valve clearance diagnostic problem, based on the vibration signal, has been shown as well.
