With the extensive research of multiantenna technology, beamforming (BF) will play an important role in the future communication systems due to its high transmission gain and satisfying directivity. If we can detect the non-cooperative beams, it is of great significance in counter reconnaissance, beam tracking, and spectrum sensing of multiantenna transmitters. This paper investigates the wireless sensor networks (WSNs), which is used to detect the unknown non-cooperative beam signal. In order to perceive the presence of beam signals without the prior information, we first derive the detection probability based on the sensors’ received signal strength (RSS). Then, based on the strong directivity of the beam signal, we propose an improved “k rank” fusion algorithm by jointly exploiting the energy detection (ED) information and location information of the sensors. Finally, the beam detection performance of different fusion algorithms is compared in simulation, and we find that our proposed algorithm showed better detection probability and lower error probability. The simulation results verify the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

Abstract This paper shows for the first time chip level electron beam probing on fully functional 10nm and 14nm node FinFET chips with sub-fin level resolution using techniques developed in house. Three novel electron beam probing techniques were developed and used in the debug and fault isolation of advanced node semiconductor devices. These techniques were E-beam logic state imaging, electron-beam signal image mapping, and E-beam device perturbation. Two tools that can offer all three techniques were constructed and used in production. The techniques have been successfully applied to real case chip debug and fault isolation on advanced 10nm and 14nm FinFET on production tools developed in-house. Sub-fin level resolution was achieved for the first time.

The determination of the occasion when the low Earth orbit satellite meets the narrow-beam signal is quite important. Based on the orbit prediction model of simplified general perturbations 4 (SGP4), the calculation model of the relative position between the low Earth orbit satellite and the ground target is established in the paper, and so is the calculation model of the relative position between the low Earth orbit satellite and the high Earth orbit communication satellite. The determination method of the occasion when the low Earth orbit satellite meets the narrow-beam signal is further proposed. It is shown by the simulation results that the proposed calculation method possesses high accuracy and feasibility and is able to satisfy the practical application requirements.

Accurate vibration signals are important for signal analysis in the method of analysis vibration of hydraulic support tail beam. Signal acquisition position needs multiple comparison and optimization on site. Natural characteristics analysis of the hydraulic support tail beam can offer theoretical guidance to optimize sensor installation position. In this paper, impulse hammer excitation was used to analyze the inherent property of the hydraulic support tail beam which provided useful information for setting the signal pick-up place.

Beam signal stretch is significant for bunch-by-bunch position measurement on storage ring in SSRF. This paper deduced a new expression to get beam position according to the relationship between BPM signals and beam position. The simulation has been done to stretch the BPM signal using square processing with matlab/simulink tool. The comparison is given between square process and original difference over sum method(Δ/Σ) using data acquired by oscilloscope and off-line processing.
